The study was conducted with 02 objectives to describe and analyze some factors affecting the motivation of office and support staffs working at Dong Thap General Hospital in 2017. The research design is cross-sectional, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Research results show that, the motivation average score of office and support staffs with the general motivation; burnout; job satisfaction; intrinsic job satisfaction; organizational commitment; conscientiousness; timeliness and attendance oscillate from 2.91 to 3.5. The motivation average score of office and support staffs with burnout is lowest and the motivation average score of office and support staffs with conscientiousness is highest. Some factors affecting the motivation of office and support staffs are income policies; training opportunities; satisfaction of colleagues and managers; working environment; equipment and facilities. The research results provide evidence to help the Board of Directors to develop solutions to improve the motivation of office and support staffs in the future. The study was conducted with 02 objectives to describe and analyze some factors affecting the attraction and retention of doctors working at Tien Giang Central General Hospital. The research design is cross-sectional, combining literature review and qualitative methods. It was conducted from January to July 2019. Literature review was used to find out situation of health worker attraction and retention while qualitative research was implemented with health workers and managers to find influencing factors. Research results show that the hospital lacks doctors to serve the overloaded number of patients: the ratio of doctors/ beds is only 0.18 (194/1.100). For 03 years (from 2016 to 2018), the hospital recruited 46 doctors, compared with the staffing needs is 107 doctors, reaching 43% as planned. The number of doctors who quit their jobs in these 3 years was 21 people, of which 04 doctors quit their jobs due to family situations. Some factors affecting the attraction and retentions of doctors at the hospital are recruitment, attraction policies, recognition of achievements, working environment, training opportunities and income. The research results provide evidence to help the Board of Directors to develop solutions to attract and retain doctors in the future. Keywords: attraction, retention, doctor, factor, hospital.

Research was conducted with two objectives which are to describe and to analyze some factors affecting the satisfaction of insured patients getting diagnosis and treatment service in Hoi An health station, Cho Moi district, An Giang province. The research design is cross-sectional description, combining quantitative and qualitative. The research used SERQUAL questionaire, interviewed 288 inpatients. The research results show that 81.2% insured patients satisfied with diagnosis and treatment service in Hoi An health station, in which the overall satisfaction rate of insured patients with sympathy factor is 74.7%. Factor having lowest satisfaction rate of insured patient is trust factor (60.1%). Our study also found some factors related to patient satisfaction. They are occupation (OR = 2.1), number of visits per year (OR = 2.5), number of times using health insurance card (OR = 2.0), health insurance services counseling (OR = 2.6). The research results provide scientific evidence to advise the Board of Directors to propose solutions to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment and increase patient confidence.

troke is a leading cause of mortality and morbidity in Indonesia.  Post stroke patients has a higher disability hence results in poor quality of life compared with normal population. In Indonesia, studies related to the quality of life of post-stroke patients are scarce, so studies are required to explore the quality of life of post-stroke patients, particularly in West Nusa Tenggara. Aim of this study is to determine the epidemiology of quality of life for post-stroke patients in West Nusa Tenggara. Methods of this study is An Observational with cross-sectional design was performed in population of post-stroke patients admitted to West Nusa Tenggara General Hospital. The quality of life of post stroke patient was evaluated with SSQOL (Stroke Specific Quality of Life) questionnaire. The collected data was analyzed by the appropriate test. Result of this study is the average age of subject is 60.33±10.68 years. Hypertension is a major risk factor of stroke. The average SSQOL score is 177.02±45.75. SSQOL assesses 4 dimension are physical, functional, psychological and social health. Based on the physical dimension, the average score is 17.00, the functional dimension, the average score is 14.91, the psychological dimension, the average score is 13.17 and the social health dimension  the average score is 13.44.  The quality of life for post-stroke patients in West Nusa Tenggara General Hospital is good.

Satisfied employees are crucial in developing a successful organization. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that affect job satisfaction among polytechnic academic employees in Malaysia. A cross-sectional study was employed and stratified random sampling was used to collect the data. A total of 130 respondents answered the questionnaires. The results revealed that job security, salary and working conditions had significant and positive influence on job satisfaction among polytechnic academic employees. Hence, strengthening the factors of job security, salary and working conditions among the polytechnic academic employees is critically important to ensure the employees are satisfied which will then lead towards a successful polytechnic.

Aim: To evaluate the overall job satisfaction among periodontists, highlighting the significance of intrinsic and extrinsic factors and their satisfaction level with patients, facilities, and workplace when working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Materials and Methods: An interview-type questionnaire-based cross-sectional study was formulated and consisted of total 38 questions in 8 domains. Contact details of registered periodontists were taken and a weblink containing details of the questionnaire using the tool SurveyMonkey was sent to periodontist from the office of Saudi Dental Society. A single investigator was done to minimize bias evaluated with all the responses. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences software version 21 (SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA) was used for tabulation of descriptive analysis. Standard deviation, percentages and means were calculated. Results: Out of the total 75 emails sent to the periodontists, 65 (86%) responses were received. 63 (96.9%) of the respondents were Saudi nationals, whereas the rest 2 (3.1%) were non‑Saudis. 40 (61.5%) respondents were males, whereas 25 (38.5%) were females. Majority of the respondents were dentists 43 (66.2%). 32.3% reported better professional growth as the main reason for choosing periodontal profession. However, a vast majority of the respondents, 56.9% stated that working as a periodontist was their first choice. 49.3% of the respondents affirmed that they were pleased with the working environment as it was conductive and professional. Approximately, 73.9% of the periodontist were of the view that they had good relations with their patients. Conclusion: Job satisfaction among periodontists working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was adequate as majority of them displayed a positive attitude toward working environment, their profession, peers, and intrinsic and extrinsic factors related to periodontal profession. Clinical Significance: Job satisfaction plays a vital role in delivering standard quality health care. Dissatisfaction in job may lead to stress, anxiety, and/or depression leading to compromised health care facilities and patient satisfaction.

Background: Job satisfaction is a major factor in nurse retention and the de­livery of high quality care. Hence, aim of this study was to find out the factors affecting job satisfaction among nurses working in the teaching hospital, Chit­wan. Methods: A descriptive, cross-sectional research design was used and a total 135 nurses who were working for at least 3 months in the Chitwan Medical Teaching Hospital were taken as study sample. Simple random sampling tech­nique was used to select the desired sample. Pre-tested structured self-admi­nistered questionniare with job satisfaction scale consisting eight domains was used to collect the data. Obtained data were entered into SPSS version 20.0 for window and analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics (chi-square test). Results: The findings of the study revealed that more than half (57.85%) of the nurses were satisfied with their job. Nurses’ job satisfaction was higher on organization and administration policies (4.18±0.04) and least on salary and benefits (3.01±0.19) they were receiving from the institution. The significance influencing factors of job satisfaction were professional qualification (p=0.04), total work experience in nursing (p=0.004), working ward/unit (p=0.014), des­ignation (p=0.007), number of patient assigned in general ward (p=<0.001) and leadership style in the ward (p=<0.001). Conclusions: Considerable percentage of nurses are not satisfied with their job. Hence hospital management and professional associations need to ad­dress the identified factors to enhance the job satisfaction among nurses work­ing in a teaching hospital.

This research based on factors affecting Job Satisfaction among the female teachers in Private Schools of Naushahro Feroze. Job satisfaction is an important topic in aca-demic and business practices. The salary scale, coworkers’ relationship scale, and working environment scale measure job satisfaction in this study. Researchers applied the quantitative research and numerical analysis of the data using the random sam-pling method. The study was held only on female teachers who work in the education sector in Private Schools in District Naushahro Feroze and filled the survey question-naires. The questionnaires were analyzed through IBM SPSS 16. Then co-relation test was used for hypothesis proving and to see the relationship between variables.

The objective of this research was to determine the value of the career anchor model in career decision-making. Career models that can provide the individual with greater self-insight can serve as an important guide when making career choices in todays turbulent working environment. Two hundred and ninety-five midcareer employees (managerial and non-managerial) completed questionnaires to determine their career anchor, occupation type and levels of general, intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction. The differences in job satisfaction between employees with a fit between career anchor and occupational type and those with no such fit were compared. It was found that respondents with a fit had a significantly higher level of general and intrinsic job satisfaction than those with no such fit. It is therefore suggested that the career anchor construct could probably serve as a useful tool for midcareer employees to make career choices. Opsomming Die doel van hierdie ondersoek was om die waarde van die loopbaanankermodel in loopbaanbesluitneming te bepaal. Loopbaanmodelle wat individue van groter insig kan voorsien kan as n belangrike riglyn in vandag se turbulente werksomgewing dien. Tweehonderd vyf-en-negentig middelloopbaan-werknemers (bestuur en nie-bestuur) het vraelyste voltooi om hulle loopbaanankers, beroepstipe en vlakke van algemene, intrinsieke en ekstrinsieke werkstevredenheid te bepaal. Die verskille in werkstevredenheid tussen werknemers met n passing tussen loopbaananker en beroepstipe en die sender n sodanige passing, is vergelyk. Daar is bevind dat respondente met n passing 'n beduidende hoer vlak van algemene en intrinsieke werkstevredenheid het as die sender so 'n passing. Daar word derhalwe voorgestel dat die loopbaanankermodel waarskynlik as n nuttige instrument by middelloopbaan-werknemers gebruik kan word om loopbaanbesluite te neem.

Purpose of the study: This study was designed to assess the role of interpersonal and Informational Justice in the purview of teaching faculty’s job satisfaction.  Methodology: A cross-sectional and quantitative research method was carried out in three randomly selected universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan i.e. Bacha Khan University, University of Malakand, and the University of Swat. A well-structured questionnaire was used for data collection from 217 sampled respondents (employees) for primary data collection. Further, the researchers analyzed the data through descriptive and inferential statistics, i.e. frequency, percentage, correlation, and indexation of the study variables, namely dependent (job satisfaction) and independent (Interpersonal and Informational Justice), respectively. Principal Findings: Regarding the demographic sketch of the sampled respondents, the study found that the majority of the respondents were male, having the age group from 31-40 years with the collaboration of 5-10 year experiences of teaching at the university level. Further, as per the correlation test statistics at bivariate analysis between the Interpersonal and Informational Justice with job satisfaction was found significant with strong correlation (P≤0.05; 0.860) respectively. Applications of this study: The government and administration should take positive steps to provide a good working environment to establish their trust by expanding cooperation towards employees, exploration of benefits, strengthening relationships with each other, and encouragement of open communication that can stimulate and encourage an exchange of view between faculty and administration was put forward some of the recommendations in light of the study findings.  Novelty/Originality of this study: This research comes under the domain of Sociology of organization and sociology of work through the perceptional-based endeavor.
