Data analysis of this research uses univariate and bibvariat analysis with Chi-Square test (χ2) and Contingency Coefficient test (C). The results found : of the 32 mothers, there were 21 mothers who had long duration of wound healing, 17 mothers had insufficient knowledge, 20 mothers had  poor personal hygiene. There was a relationship between mother’s knowledge with the duration of perineal wound healing in puerperal mothers, with the category of close relationship, and there was a relationship of personal hygiene with the duration of perineal wound healing in puerperal mothers, with a close relationship category. This type of research is descriptive with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all primiparous postpartum mothers registered at the Saronggi Community Health Center on January 13-February 13 2020 by 30 people. The sampling technique used is non probability sampling with accidental sampling method. Analysis of the data in this study used a univariate test. The results of the study are all primiparous postpartum mothers at Saronggi Puskesmas aged 20-35 years by 100%, most primiparous postpartum mothers with high school education were 53.3%, most primiparous postpartum mothers were IRT 83.3% and most postpartum mothers Primipara has less knowledge about breast care by 40%. it can be concluded that the majority of primiparous postpartum mothers in Puskesmas Saronggi have less knowledge about breast care. The launch of breast milk on postpartum mothers should be treated appropriately to make the exclusive breast milk work smoothly. The survey result in Gampengrejo’s community health center in April 2019 was obtained 9 out of 14 postpartum mothers (64.28%) experiencing breast milk flow problems. Postpartum mothers consuming boiled katuk and kelor leaves can smooth the flow of breast milk. Many problems have been spent on the post-partum mothers on day 1 up to day 7. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the combination of boiled katuk and kelor leaf. The design of the research used is an experimental study with a pre-experimental design using pre-test and post-test design. The population is the mother of the postpartum on day 1 through day7 in Gampengrejo’s community health center Kediri. The sampling technique uses a simple random sampling technique and it is obtained 16 samples. The samples are given the treatment of a combination of boiled katuk and kelor leaves. The research instrument used is an observation sheet. Research results were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. Based on the result, it shows almost all respondents breast milk that was 13 people (81.3) come out smoothly after being administered a combination of boiled katuk and kelor leaf. Based on the results of the analysis obtained ρ value 0.000 < 0.05 indicating the influence of the breast milk flow between before and after administering the combination of boiled katuk and kelor leaf. The medical staff is expected to provide information about the benefits of the combination of boiled katuk and kelor leaf for the postpartum mothers.

Background: Perineal wounds are at risk for infection, without a good treatment, perineal wound can harbor sepsis and become a chronic, long-term problem. Binahong leaves is considered as an alternative to accelerate perineal wound healing process. Objective: To determine the effect of binahong leaf extract (anredera cordifolia (tenore) steen) on perineal wound healing process in postpartum mothers. Methods: This study employed a quasy experimental study with control group posttest-only design. The study was conducted in the working area of Telogosari Wetan Health Center and Health Center of Kulon Kota Semarang in January-February 2017. There were 36 respondents selected using purposive sampling assigned in the intervention group (Binahong leaves extract) and the control group (Povidon Iodine 10%). REEDA scale was used for assessing perineal healing. Data were analyzed using Mann Whitney, Chi Square and Kruskall Wallis test. Results: Findings showed that the average day of perineal wound healing process in the binahong leaves group was 6.11 days and in the povidon iodine group was 7.66 days. There was a statistically significant difference in the duration of wound healing between the experiment and control group with p-value 0,001 (p value <0.05).Conclusion: Binahong leaves extract is effective in healing perineal wound in postpartum mothers. Therefore, binahong leaves are recommended to use as an alternative treatment for the mothers.

Background: The incidence of perineal tear is still high in Indonesia. It is therefore the intervention to acceleate wound healing is needed. The use of turmeric and tamarind is considered as the alternative treatment for wound healing. However, little is known about the effect of the combination of turmeric and tamarind. Objective: To determine the effect of consuming turmeric and tamarind on the duration of perineal wound healing. Methods: The study was a quasi-experimental study with one group post-test only design conducted in the working area of the Community Health Center of Ngesrep and Srondol, Semarang City, Central Java in December 2016 until January 2017. There were 28 respondents recruited using consecutive sampling, with 14 randomly assigned in each group. The REEDA scoring system was used to measure the wound healing. Data were analyzed usig Independent t-test.Results: The results revealed that The average duration of wound healing in the intervention group was 6.25 days, while in the control group was 8.57 days with p-value 0.000 (<0.05), which indicated that there was statistically significant effect of tamarind turmeric drink of the duration of perineal wound healing in postpartum mothers. Conclusion: There is a significant effect of turmeric tamarinds drink on the duration of perineal wound healing in postpartum mothers. It is therefore suggested to the health providers, especially midwives, to apply this intervention the accelerate healing of perineal wound in postpartum mothers.

Vulva hygiene in the treatment of birth canal injuries consist of 2 types, there were using antiseptics and not using antiseptics, which is used traditional treatments that use betel leaves. Treatment of birth canal injuries using betel leaves by boiling and using the water for vulva hygiene or cleaning the wound of the birth canal. Based on the survey conducted in March 2018 on 10 post partum mothers who visited the BPS Ria Mulya P, SST., M.Kes. on Katerungan Krian Sidoarjo the researchers observed and filled out observation sheets on 10 respondents that 10 postpartum mothers who used stew betel leaves, 7 postpartum mothers (70%) Healing wounds quickly and 3 postpartum mothers (30%) Healing of his wounds slowly. This condition that the number of postpartum mothers who heal their wounds quickly using betel leaf decoction.                      The method of this study is used longitudional analytic. The population was 30 postpartum mothers who visited clinic. Samples were taken were 30 respondents (postpartum mothers with perineal suture wounds using betel leaf decoction) using the Proposive sample technique. Data collection using observation sheets then the data tabulated and analyzed by chi square test. Based on the results of the calculation of the chi square test, the result of the Pvalue <α is 0.007 <0.005. This shows that there is an effect of vulva hygiene using betel leaf decoction during childbirth with perineal wound healing.                    The conclusion of this study is the decoction of betel leaf able to accelerate the process of healing perineal wounds during childbirth. The results of this study are still not perfect, and the ability of research is limited, for the next researcher more numbers of respondents are prepared so that the generalization can be expanded.      Keywords: Vulva Hygiene, betel leaf decoction, Perineum Wound Healing.
