Analyzing the theory of games it can be noticed that the moves and strategy of the players are not sufficiently based on the relevant information. Most often, the only information that game strategy methodologists advocate is rationality, which certainly does not have to be the case in all games. In addition, the greater practical representation of game theory is avoided by the numerous assumptions and limitations set by the particular model of a particular game, and whose practical foundation does not always have to be realistic. An interdisciplinary combination of international marketing research and game theory would create a new quality for one and the other discipline. However, the biggest benefit would be for business or marketing decision makers, especially in industrial marketing. The aim of the paper is to present a new model that, in conditions of globalized business, will provide information support from the international market for business decision making using the theory of games. The proposed model is in the form of an information system for international marketing research in support of business decision-making. The first part of the paper is devoted to the analysis of game theory, in particular the analysis of assumptions and limitations for its greater practical application. A model that would partially overcome the described problems is proposed in the second part of the paper. The methodology used in the paper is also characteristic of marketing research and game theory.

The purpose of the article is to develop theoretical provisions and develop guidelines for improving approaches to accounting for risks of exposure to COVID-19 and disclosure of information about them in the reporting of economic entities. In the process of research the methods of observation, comparison, analysis, synthesis, generalization were used. The study is based on the hypothesis that high-quality accounting and information support will increase the validity, efficiency and analytical information about the risks of COVID-19 and their impact on business activities in accordance with modern management requirements, strengthening the responsibility of performers, improving management accounting. The article summarizes the approaches to the impact of uncertainty and risk on the accounting and analytical system of enterprises, which are considered in scientific circles by domestic researchers. The risks of the enterprise’s activity that are relevant in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic are highlighted: risks caused by restrictions by legislative and regulatory acts; risks due to the occurrence of obligations related to the production and sale of products, goods, works, services; risks of asset impairment; risks to the recognition and measurement of liabilities; risks of possible bankruptcy; investment risks. to identify risk and assess it, you can use the «triple method». It is established that the accounting and information support of risk management in the conditions of influence of COVID-19 includes: methodical support of risk accounting, analytical support, documentary support; display of information on risks in the reporting, which allowed developing a report on the risks of the impact of COVID-19 on the activities of the enterprise. The obtained results are the basis for bringing the system of accounting and analytical support to a qualitatively new level and will generate useful, truthful and relevant information for enterprise management in decision-making to minimize the impact of risks on business activities through COVID-19.

Business decision-making, based on real circumstances and future suppositions demands relevant and high quality informative support. Accounting with planning, record keeping, control and analyze, presents, not the only but one of the basic information sources. It is necessary to organize accounting in a way that will, with usage of instruments adequate to accounting and all contemporary methods, models and techniques, or in other words new methodological accounting solutions, provide reliable informative support for decision making to enterprise managing.

Information overload has always been a challenge for businesspeople as well as professionals from other types of organizations. And today with search algorithms and artificial intelligence (AI) such an ever-present part of daily life and media consumption, the challenges in learning how to filter information for oneself for effective processing, interpretation and analysis have only increased. This article presents several frameworks that were created for instructing students to assist with addressing this. They were tested and refined over four years in a core MBA course focused on decision making and project-based work. They include ways to conceptualize the broad areas of information available for business decision making as well as how to identify information by thinking about who is producing it, why they are producing it and who their key customers are. Other frameworks presented deal with ways to identify pertinent information and how to process and work with it as part of a research investigation. These frameworks are presented as tools that can be used by business school instructors, but certainly have a broader application as useful guidelines for anyone hoping to be a better collector and processor of relevant information for decision making and project work.

Traditional decision-making models assume the full rationality of all actors. Nevertheless, the practice has shown that the behavior and choices of actors are influenced by many factors such as motives, beliefs, opinions, personal and social preferences, as well as cognitive biases. Moreover, it has already been proven that people have limitations in their ability to collect relevant information and respond to them, i.e. they are bounded rational. All this has contributed to the development of behavioral models in many disciplines including game theory. This paper provides a detailed review of the literature regarding behavioral models of strategic decision making. Bounded rationality and other cognitive biases in the strategic interactions are illustrated through the findings of numerous experimental studies.


The structural and functional IDEF0-model of information support of processes of minimization of resistance of the personnel to organizational changes at the enterprise is developed. The proposed model makes it possible to describe in a logical, convenient and consistent form the relationship between management functions and responsible executives, provides information about resources, information flows, instructions, regulatory information, a set of models and approaches. The corresponding model in the notation IDEF0 will provide information support for decision-making on the management of organizational changes at the enterprise.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to respond to the call of alternative methodologies for studying household dynamics and aims to contribute to method development in international marketing research. Design/methodology/approach – Based on the Viennese Diary Study, a methodology was developed to study Vietnamese middle-class partners’ decision making. This allows for dyadic analyses and keeping track of the decision and mutual influence history in an emerging market. Findings – The methodology proved suitable to be used in a transitional economy, which is characterized by specific cultural aspects, such as the embeddedness of decisions in close relationships and traditional role specialization. Research limitations/implications – While the diary method is time and resource-costly with rather small sample size, it allows for detailed insight into everyday decision making. Further research might want to extend participation in the method to the extended family, which is of high importance in collectivistic cultures. Originality/value – Since partners in a household independently reported their perceptions and behaviours during decision processes each day, the methodology allows for dyadic analyses and keeping track of everyday decision making. In addition, the role in decision making of each spouse can be analysed.

Intuitionistic fuzzy preference relations (IFPRs) have the natural ability to reflect the positive, the negative and the non-determinative judgements of decision makers. A decision making model is proposed by considering the inherent property of IFPRs in this study, where the main novelty comes with the introduction of the concept of additive approximate consistency. First, the consistency definitions of IFPRs are reviewed and the underlying ideas are analyzed. Second, by considering the allocation of the non-determinacy degree of decision makers’ opinions, the novel concept of approximate consistency for IFPRs is proposed. Then the additive approximate consistency of IFPRs is defined and the properties are studied. Third, the priorities of alternatives are derived from IFPRs with additive approximate consistency by considering the effects of the permutations of alternatives and the allocation of the non-determinacy degree. The rankings of alternatives based on real, interval and intuitionistic fuzzy weights are investigated, respectively. Finally, some comparisons are reported by carrying out numerical examples to show the novelty and advantage of the proposed model. It is found that the proposed model can offer various decision schemes due to the allocation of the non-determinacy degree of IFPRs.
