The degree of contamination of the organism of wild animals with radionuclides is of particular importance in the framework of environmental monitoring and assessment of its safety, both for humans and for animals. However, the majority of domestic scientific works on this subject concerns farm animals, and the information relating to hunting animals is much less. This fact determined the relevance of our work, the purpose of which was to study the features of the accumulation of global technogenic and natural radionuclides in the meat of some wild animals in the TRANS-Urals. Experimental data on the content of technogenic radionuclides in the meat of hunting animals were obtained in the autumn-winter periods of 2014 – 2018. Analysis of the average data showed, that the content in the meat of wild animals cesium-137, depending on the animal species, ranged from 4.1 to 49.2; lead-210 – 0,7 – 4,3; and strontium-90 – 0,1 – 1,7 Bq/kg. The total beta- activity of radionuclides in the meat of wild animals varied, depending on the species, from 71.2 to 104.3 Bq/kg. At the same time, all the studied samples of meat corresponded to the norms established by SanPiN-2010 for this type of food product. Some increased accumulation of radioactive cesium (49.2 Bq/kg) and other anthropogenic radionuclides was observed in wild reindeer meat, and in the southern regions of the TRANS-Urals – in bear and wild boar meat (21.1 and 17.4 Bq/kg, respectively). In the muscle tissue of the roe deer the content of this radionuclide was slightly higher than that of the elk (14.7 and 12.2 Bq/kg, respectively). The lowest concentration of cesium-137 (4.1 Bq/kg) and other nuclides was found in beaver meat. The content of strontium-90 in the meat of all tested animals was at a minimum level, and the specific activity of lead-210 was higher than strontium-90 by 2 - 10 times, depending on the species, which indicates the accumulation of this radionuclide in forest ecosystems due to anthropogenic pressure and expansion of the technogenic zone of cities.  The results of studies have shown that differences in the accumulation of technogenic radionuclides in the meat of the hunting animals are largely related to the nature of feeding and composition of the diet of wild species, and are subject to significant fluctuations in accordance with the change in the volume and qualities of food resources in forest biotopes over the year.

The concentration of cesium-137 and strontium-90 in Canadian wheat is reported for the years 1957 to 1960. Some results are included for flour, bran, barley, and wheat from earlier years. Sampling was done through a national network to obtain as representative results as possible.The specific activity, i.e. strontium-90/mg stable strontium, in various parts of the wheat kernel has been used to study the uptake of strontium by the plant. For wheat grown under conditions of high fallout, more than 40% of the strontium-90 in the cereal grain was absorbed through the husk. A comparison of cesium-137 in wheat with fallout rate showed negligible (less than 5%) uptake from soil.

As part of the study, the activity of artificial and natural radionuclides (strontium-90, cesium-137, potassium-40, thorium-232, radium-226) was determined in 36 samples of medicinal plant raw materials of the core and upper soil layers on which the plants were grown. All samples meet the existing requirements of regulatory documentation on radionuclide activity. The average value of the strontium-90 accumulation coefficient was 0.39, in different samples of the region it varied from 0.31 to 0.60. Cesium-137 accumulation coefficients ranged from 0.29 to 0.65 at an average of 0.39. For thorium-232, the average accumulation coefficient in the core lip flowers is 0.15 and took values in the samples studied from 0.09 to 0.231. For potassium-40, the average accumulation ratio in the feed was 0.98 and varied from 0.71 to 1.29, and for radium-226 - 0.47, with a variation from 0.39 to 0.59.

The influence of liming of soils of honey fields with high pH on the intensity of the transition of cesium-137 and strontium-90 to protein production of beekeeping, in particular, flower pollen and pergo, was studied. This protein product contains about 250 substances and mineral elements: proteins and non-protein nitrogenous compounds – 20-25 %, sugars (sucrose, glucose, fructose, etc.) – 13-35 %, starch – 1-25 %, fiber – 3 -20 %, polovin – 6-20 %, crude fat – 2-14 %, ash – 1-6 %, water – 20-30 %. Pollen contains arytenoids, flavonoids, anthocyanins, higher alcohols, growth and other substances. In ashes of pollen, a lot of mineral elements, % of total ash: potassium 20-45, magnesium – 1-12, calcium – 1-15, silicon – 2-10, phosphorus – 1-20, iron – 0,1, sulfur – 1, manganese – 1.4. Other elements that affect the vital activity of the organism are also revealed. Beetroot obnizhya is used in the food industry, has antimicrobial effect, stimulates the immune system of the body, is used in cardiovascular diseases of the stomach and kidneys. The high efficiency of use of bee antlers in the treatment of diseases of the nervous system, lungs, liver, kidneys, glands of the internal secretion, vascular diseases of the brain, gastrointestinal tract, rheumatoid arthritis is established. Bee ankles increase appetite and overall body condition. Due to the high content of biologically active substances, it is widely used to increase the immunity of the body during the period of illness and surgical operations. Anesthetics also affect the process of hematopoietic, and increases hemoglobin and red blood cells. Agricultural honey plants are a powerful source of nectar and pollen, which are raw materials for the production of bee products. The main representatives are winter and spring rape, sunflower, buckwheat, turbot. Winter rice was grown in areas with soil pH of 4.7 with specific activity of cesium-137 – 31.0 and strontium-90 – 2.7 Bq / kg. Liming of soil under winter rape was carried out at the rate of 9 t / ha of brushwood along the surface of the soil with subsequent flooding. Limestone acidic soils with a pH of 4.7 reduced the acidity of the aqueous medium to 6.8. Reducing the acidity of the soil from pH 4.7 to 6.8 contributed to a decrease in the specific activity of cesium-137 in beer overgrowth by 40.0 %, in a perace – by 42.9 %, and by strontium-90, respectively, by 43.3 % and 42, 89 %. Specific activity of cesium-137 and strontium-90 in protein beekeepers did not exceed DR-2006. The coefficient of accumulation of cesium-137 and strontium-90 in beer overwork, produced from winter wheat rape, decreased by 31.8 % and 35.7 %, respectively – by 29.6 % and 31.6 % respectively. The greatest radiological efficacy was achieved with respect to cesium-137 in beer overwork, its accumulation decreased by 66.7 %, strontium-90 – in a proxy by 3.4 times. Comparing the intensity of the accumulation of radionuclides in protein production of beekeeping for liming soil with a pH of 4.7, it is necessary to note the higher efficiency of reduction of strontium-90 compared to cesium-137. This tendency is observed due to an increase in calcium soils, the presence of which depends on the intensity of the assimilation of plants by strontium-90. Thus, the intensity of the reduction of strontium-90 in the bee-wormhole was 2.5 times lower; the recipe was 14.4 times compared to the cesium-137 for liming the soils. Bee families who harvested pollen from winter rape, which was grown on soils without liming, produced a smaller amount of protein products. Families that harvested pollen from winter rape for liming soil produced more bee-wormwood by 18.2 % and perg, by 6.0 %, compared with a soil pH of 6.8. Along with this, it was found that the specific activity of cesium-137 and strontium-90 in the perogus was higher in 2.8 and 7.0 times compared to bee-wormholes, respectively. AbstractRemoval of 137Cs radionuclides from the environment has engrossed the concern of researchers after Fukushima accident. The leakage of radioactive cesium ions can lead up to surface and groundwater contamination, and this leads to pollution of drinking water sources. In this work, corchorus olitorius stalks has been used as a novel precursor for production of low-cost mesoporous activated carbon (Meso-AC) and HNO3/H2O2-modified Meso-AC (m-Meso-AC). The physicochemical properties of all adsorbents were evaluated. The influences of sorption parameters and presence of some ligands (humic acid, fulvic acid, and EDTA) on the sorption of 137Cs were studied. The maximum 137Cs capacity of m-Meso-AC was found to be 58.74 mg/g. Efficiency of the new adsorbent to remove 137Cs radionuclides from natural waters (tap, river, and groundwater) was investigated. The studies showed that new adsorbent could be used as promising material for the retention of 137Cs from real radioactive waste and natural water samples.

A method for non-destructive monitoring of the content of natural radionuclides in building materials has been developed. Spectrum measurements of gamma radiation are carried out with a pre-calibrated field gamma spectrometer. The calculation of the average specific activity of natural radionuclides in building materials is carried out by comparing the calculated flux density of unscattered gamma quanta normalized to the specific activity, and the experimentally measured count rates in the photopeak. calculated for the geometry of the room under study and the location of the detector. Application of the developed method makes it possible to estimate the average activity of natural radionuclides in building materials without destruction.

For humans and domestic animals, parasites of wild animals can pose a threat to health, and even life. In this regard, it is important to establish the pathways of circulation of pathogens of dangerous helminthiasis, to identify the nature of the focus and the role of wild animals in this process, since these data serve as the basis for the development of anti-parasite measures. The study of parasitic organisms of wild animals is of great importance for science and practice. In natural biocenosis, one of their joints is parasitic species, which, on the one hand, are involved in the regulation of the host population; on the other hand, they prevent the introduction and spread of new species related to the host, i.e. participate in ensuring homeostasis of biocenosis. Parasitizing in various hosts, both definitive and intermediate, helminthes can determine the number and distribution over the territory not only of these hosts, but also of other animal species associated with these hosts by trophic and other connections. The foregoing determines the relevance of the problem of studying the fauna of helminthes of wild animals in the West Kazakhstan region, which is currently under-researched. The species composition of helminthes of the fox (Vulpes vulpes) and the korsak (Vulpes corsac) in the territory of the West-Kazakhstan region region was explored. In most cases, the invasion was recorded in an associative form. Some helminthes cause serious diseases in humans and farm animals. As a result of our research, we identified 6 species of intestinal helminthes in the common fox, two of which (Alveococcus multilocularis, Toxocara canis) have epidemiological significance. In korsak, 3 types of helminthes were identified at the autopsy before the species.
