The cause of AKI at delivery is the presence of complicating factors during labor. To save mather and baby during childbirth due to labor complicating factors, one of them is by performing section caesarea, the most frequent impact felt by klien post section caesarea is pain. Pain has a very complex impact on the care of post partum mothers, includin Activity of Daily Living (ADL) is impaired. Non pharmacological management to reduce pain can be a progressive muscle relaxation technique. This study aims to determine the effect of progressive muscle relaxation techniques on pain at clients of post sectio caesarea in RSUD Kota Bandung. This study is a pre experimental study with one group pre test post test design approach. The number of sample in this study is 20 persons selected in purposive sampling technique. The applied instrument is Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) and work procedure of progressive muscle relaxation. The data is then analyzed by wilcoxon test. The study reveals that more than half of clients post operative sectio caesarea were on pain scale 6 before progressive muscle relaxation and almost half had pain scale 3 and 4 after progressive muscle relaxation. And acquired p value = 0.000, so it was concluded that there was influence of progressive muscle relaxation to pain scale to the clients of sectio caesarea. The results of this study it’s expected that progressive muscle relaxation technique can be used as reference for making SOP in the room and can be used as a non pharmacological intervention in pain management

Aromatherapy can be used to reduce post-sectio caesaria (SC) pain. In this study, the aromatherapy used was orange essential oil. This quasi-experimental study used a pre and posttest design with control group. The sample of the study was 74 mothers with 24 hours post-SC. The treatment group was the mothers who were given orange essential oil aromatherapy (37 people), while the control group was those who were not given (37 people). Sampling technique used consecutive sampling. Data collection about the characteristics of the respondents was done using a questionnaire, while the measurement of pain was carried out using the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) observation sheet. The analysis consisted of bivariate analysis with Wilcoxon test. There was a decrease in the pain scale in the treatment group after being given aromatherapy essential oil orange from 4.14 ± 1.669 to 2.59 ± 1.334 (p-value = 0.000). In the control group, the change was from 2.86 ± 0.419 to 2.78 ± 0.479 (p-value = 0.373). This meant that the treatment group showed higher reduced pain than the control group. Therefore, orange essential oil aromatherapy was effective in reducing pain scale 24 hours post-SC.

Cesarean delivery is increasingly in demand by pregnant women in developed and developing countries, this is because advances in science and technology are constantly developing, especially in the field of health. Physiologically, cesarean section surgery can have a post-operative effect that is pain. Pain management in postoperative cesarean section consists of pharmacological and non-pharmacological management. One technique that can be used to reduce pain scale in a non-pharmacological way is Benson's relaxation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Benson's Relaxation Techniques on Pain Reduction in Post Sectio Caesarea Patients in Dr. Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi in 2019. This study uses Quasi Experimental with the control group. The population in this study were all post-sectio caesarea patients in the Midwifery Room of RSUD Dr. Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi. The sample of this study was 15 intervention groups and 15 control groups taken with the Non Probality Consecutive sampling technique. Performed in April - Juli 2020. The instrument in this study uses the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). From the 20 respondents obtained the Independent Sample T-Test parametric test results p value 0.001 (p<0.005).
