The purpose of the article: to outline peculiarities of realizing activity and integrated methodological approaches when analysing the system of academic staff training by means of privat associate professorship in Ukrainian universities in the second half of the XIX – at the beginning of the XX century, theoretical provisions on the research methods for the specified problem. Methods of the research: analysis, synthesis, abstraction, generalization, classification, comparison, search and bibliographic method. Results of the research. The author specifies the principles of the activity approach (development, historical character, subjectivity; internalization and exteriorization; unified structure of external and internal activity; activity), requirements to the integrated approach (establishing interrelations of the investigated phenomenon, considering external influences, elimination of casual factors), requirements to scientific methods (determinacy, purposefulness, effectiveness, reliability, efficiency). The activity approach makes it possible to determine the effectiveness of the institute of private associate professorship in the system of academic staff training in Ukrainian universities in the second half of the XIX – early XX century, aims to identify its target, content, procedural, organizational and technological integrity. The integrated approach allowed for studying the subject of scientific research, namely academic staff training by means of private associate professorship in the pre-revolutionary universities of Ukraine, on the grounds of the identified components (need, subject, object, activity content, conditions, result). Particular attention was focused on the theoretical provisions on the scientific methods (historical-comparative, historical-genetic, historical-structural, historical-diachronic, chronological, modelling, personality-biographical, content analysis, interpretation, etc.) used in the study. Conclusions. Methodological substantiation of scientific research contributes to the holistic presentation of the specified problem.Key words: activity and integrated methodological approaches, scientific methods, academic staff, privat associate professorship. Метастатті: розглянути особливості реалізації діяльнісного та комплексного методологічних підходів у контексті аналізу системи підготовки науково-педагогічних кадрів засобом приват-доцентури в університетах України другої половини ХІХ – початку ХХстоліття, теоретичних положень щодо методів дослідження із зазначеної проблеми. Методи дослідження: аналіз, синтез, абстрагування, узагальнення, класифікація, порівняння, пошуково-бібліографічний метод. Результати дослідження.Зазначено принципи діяльнісного підходу (розвитку, історизму, предметності; інтеріоризації та ексте-ріоризації; єдності будови зовнішньої та внутрішньої діяльності; активності), вимоги до комплексного підходу (встановлення взаємозв’язків досліджуваного явища, урахування зовнішніх впливів, усунення випадкових факторів), вимоги до наукових методів (детермінованість, заданість ціллю дослідження, результативність, надійність, ефективність). Діяльнісний підхід дає змогу визначити ефективність запровадженого інституту приват-доцентури в системі підготовки науково-педагогічних кадрів в університетах України другої половини ХІХ – початку ХХ століття, спрямовує на виявлення його цільової, змістовної, процесуальної, організаційної та технологічної цілісності. Комплексний підхід уможливив вивчення предмета наукового дослідження – підготовка науково-педагогічних кадрів засобом приват-доцентури в дореволюційних університетах України – на основі виокремлених складників (потреба, суб’єкт, об’єкт, зміст діяльності, умови, результат). Акцентовано увагу на теоретичних положеннях щодо наукових методів (історико-порівняльний, історико-генетичний, історико-структурний, історико-діахронний, хронологічний, моделювання, персоналістично-біографічний, контент-аналізу, інтер-претації та ін.), які використано в дослідженні. Висновки. Методологічне обґрунтування наукового дослідження дає можливість цілісно розкрити зазначену проблему.Ключові слова: діяльнісний та комплексний методологічні підходи, наукові методи, науково-педагогічні кадри, приват-доцентура.

The Concept Of Law

The subject of this research is the identification of legal views of the German philosopher and jurist Heinrich Ahrens. The source base is comprised of the scientific works of G. Ahrens and other legal scholars. The historical-legal science does not pay sufficient attention to the ideas and persona of Heinrich Ahrens. He was famous during his lifetime, but almost forgotten afterwards. The Russian legal science lacks a monographic research of the political-legal concept of H. Ahrens. Methodological framework consists of the general scientific methods: systemic, logical, historical, comparative; as well as special methods: historical-legal, comparative-legal, formal-legal, and portrait-biographical. The scientific novelty is defined by the subject and methods of research. The central idea of Heinrich Ahrens’ encyclopedia of law is the interpretation of the science of law in its organic unity. The author examines the concept of law and system of law in the scholar’s perception; as well as underlines the prominent figure of H. Ahrens who contributed to development to the science of encyclopedia of law. The scientific works of Heinrich Ahrens have not been previously subjected to systemic and comprehensive examination, while the proposed ideas and concept remain relevant until the present.

Subject. The article gives a theoretical and practical view of the positive effect sustainable development drivers have on economic indicators of a business, environment and the relationship with stakeholders. Objectives. We devise a technique for evaluating the sustainable development of gold mining enterprises. Methods. Theoretical projections are based on the content-analysis of scientific editions on the subject, critical analysis of available approaches to defining and studying the subject, statistical analysis, and expert assessments. Results. We suggest using a set of indicators to evaluate the sustainable development of gold mining enterprises, determine the sequence and key principles to follow in determining weight coefficients of group indicators, and the list of references which may contribute to the subject at the moment or in the future. The technique can be supplemented and adjusted, with the result computation algorithm remaining unchanged. Conclusions and Relevance. We devised the technique for evaluating the sustainable development of gold mining enterprises. The technique is based on the comprehensive use of statistical and expert assessments, implying the computation of the general index, which account for four aspects of sustainable development – economics, technology, environment and society. It gauges how an enterprise progresses in terms of its sustainable development. This accumulates relevant information and analytical data to evaluate the overall efficiency of sustainable development in gold mining.

Subject. The article explores the economic component of sustainable development through the classification of industries from the perspective of assigning the output goods to fixed or current assets, using different types of resources and assessing their condition. It considers factors of production affecting the achievement of the result and determining the development of economic systems at the meso- and micro-hierarchical level. Objectives. The aim is to assess the function of economic systems of different hierarchical levels on the tool-making facilities case. Methods. We apply an approach using general and special methods of comparative and statistical analysis, synthesis and analogies. Results. The paper analyzes the development of the Russian tool-making industry on the basis of resource-oriented approach to assess the functioning of economic systems at various levels. We review interrelations between resource use efficiency, types of sustainable development of economic systems at various hierarchical levels and strategic security of the country. Conclusions. Any development can be considered sustainable, if there is an increment in the intensive development of economic systems at all three levels.
