Jakarta as the capital city of Indonesia is the center of economy, culture, and politics. Jenderal Sudirman street always crowded with passing vehicles, traffic snarls up everyday. The causes of these traffic jam is an increase the number of vehicles and cause a change in traffic behavior. Theoretically there is a fudamental relationship between flow, speed, & density, so the purpose of these research are to analyze and evaluate performance of traffic capacity in various conditions based on Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997 and Greenshields model. Conclusion of the analysis are, after compared with traffic volume, capacity and speed based on MKJI are 3.127,6 pcu/hour and 55,7 km/hour, but the capacity of the model are selected because it’s largest, for sudirman – thamrin it’s 8.272,5 pcu/hour, and for thamrin – sudirman it’s 8.067,9 pcu/hour, While the calculation of free flow for sudirman – thamrin it’s 41.2 km/hour the lowest occurs in  evening, and for thamrin – sudirman it’s 43,9 km/hour the lowest occurs in  afternoon. The largest capacity it’s used for the next analysis, the next analysis are calculating degree of saturation and level of service, the result  shows that the roads are at C and D.ABSTRAKJakarta ibu kota negara Indonesia merupakan pusat ekonomi, budaya, dan politik. Abstract Cooperative adaptive cruise control (CACC) for human and autonomous self-driving aims to achieve active safe driving that avoids vehicle accidents or traffic jam by exchanging the road traffic information (e.g., traffic flow, traffic density, velocity variation, etc.) among neighbor vehicles. However, in CACC, the butterfly effect is encountered while exhibiting asynchronous brakes that easily lead to backward shock-waves and are difficult to remove. Several critical issues should be addressed in CACC, including (i) difficulties with adaptive steering of the inter-vehicle distances among neighbor vehicles and the vehicle speed, (ii) the butterfly effect, (iii) unstable vehicle traffic flow, etc. To address the above issues in CACC, this paper proposes the mobile edge computing-based vehicular cloud of the cooperative adaptive driving (CAD) approach to avoid shock-waves efficiently in platoon driving. Numerical results demonstrate that the CAD approach outperforms the compared techniques in the number of shock-waves, average vehicle velocity, average travel time and time to collision (TTC). Additionally, the adaptive platoon length is determined according to the traffic information gathered from the global and local clouds.

Level of service (LOS) is used as the main indicator of transport quality on urban roads and it is estimated based on the travel speed. The main objective of this study is to determine which of the existing models for travel speed calculation is most suitable for local conditions. The study uses actual data gathered in travel time survey on urban streets, recorded by applying second by second GPS data. The survey is limited to traffic flow in saturated conditions. The RMSE method (Root Mean Square Error) is used for research results comparison with relevant models: Akcelik, HCM (Highway Capacity Manual), Singapore model and modified BPR (the Bureau of Public Roads) function (Dowling - Skabardonis). The lowest deviation in local conditions for urban streets with standardized intersection distance (400-500 m) is demonstrated by Akcelik model. However, for streets with lower signal density (<1 signal/km) the correlation between speed and degree of saturation is best presented by HCM and Singapore model. According to test results, Akcelik model was adopted for travel speed estimation which can be the basis for determining the level of service in urban streets with standardized intersection distance and coordinated signal timing under local conditions.

Abstract Toll road ramps that connect toll roads and arterial roads are often crowded until they are jammed by the activities of workers and school deliverers. And the rush hour that occurs in the morning and evening causes congestion on toll access roads both on and off ramps. The purpose of this research to find out how the performance condition of the toll access road with the distance that is currently available.. The method used in this paper is descriptive quantitative. By using the results of the Average Daily Traffic (ADT) survey at the intersection of West Bekasi, Cibitung and West Kerawang during the morning and evening rush hours. The results of the survey and analysis using the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (IRCM) standard obtained a ratio of volume to capacity (v/c ratio), speed and traffic density, these characteristics were then used to find the Level Of Service (LOS) obtained by LOS F (VCR >1). The conclusion from the analysis is that the performance of the connecting road/ramp often occurs during rush hour with the lowest LOS F values in the morning and evening, so it is necessary to evaluate the minimum ramp distance.

In civil engineering, particularly in the field of traffic engineering, it was possible to measure traffic performance by way of surveying the traffic flow, velocity, and density. The current traffic survey is commonly conducted by surveyor who manually calculates the movement of mode of transportation using traffic counter and survey form. Such method was definitely way too costly and time consuming in rendering the traffic data. Therefore, this study aims was to create application design products for technology retrieval and vehicle traffic count calculations, as well as traffic behavior analysis. This research was used Research and Development (R & D) method. The data accuracy was maintained through check and control to make sure that the inputted data were precisely the same with the results of the display on the application. This application called PRIFACOUNTER that can be operated personally in android OS hand phone. On the basis of the research, it was revealed that some variables and steps in the application concept were definitely needed to determine traffic behavior consisting of traffic flow, capacity, and degree of saturation. Since anyone can use this application, it will reduce the time in order to analyze the traffic performance.

Jl. Yos Sudarso is one of the centers of movement in Tarakan or a business zone. Jl. Yos Sudarso has experienced an increase in road load and a decrease in the level of road services which will eventually cause traffic problems, namely the effectiveness of reduced traffic performance. To find out the analysis of traffic performance due to the arrangement of the vehicle movement system on Yos Sudarso Tarakan road, traffic surveys are carried out, such as traffic volume, traffic speed, road capacity, and degree of saturation. After the road performance analysis, the characteristics and conditions of the road were obtained, the average total volume was 1399.92 pcu / hour, the average degree of saturation on the Yos Sudarso road in the direction of Kusuma Bangsa was 0.53, while the direction of Mulawarman was 0,55. Thus the average performance along Yos Sudarso road includes the C service level. By looking at these conditions it is necessary to increase the clear traffic flow regulation system such as traffic signal so that it can reduce the congestion that occurs on these roads. The construction of the coastal road frontage line and the construction of the access road network will provide benefits in the form of a road network in the western part of Tarakan city, reducing traffic density points.
