Jl. Yos Sudarso is one of the centers of movement in Tarakan or a business zone. Jl. Yos Sudarso has experienced an increase in road load and a decrease in the level of road services which will eventually cause traffic problems, namely the effectiveness of reduced traffic performance. To find out the analysis of traffic performance due to the arrangement of the vehicle movement system on Yos Sudarso Tarakan road, traffic surveys are carried out, such as traffic volume, traffic speed, road capacity, and degree of saturation. After the road performance analysis, the characteristics and conditions of the road were obtained, the average total volume was 1399.92 pcu / hour, the average degree of saturation on the Yos Sudarso road in the direction of Kusuma Bangsa was 0.53, while the direction of Mulawarman was 0,55. Thus the average performance along Yos Sudarso road includes the C service level. By looking at these conditions it is necessary to increase the clear traffic flow regulation system such as traffic signal so that it can reduce the congestion that occurs on these roads. The construction of the coastal road frontage line and the construction of the access road network will provide benefits in the form of a road network in the western part of Tarakan city, reducing traffic density points.

Traffic volume in Semarang City has increased every year due to the increasing number of vehicles. Congestion that occurs at the T-junction intersection Jl. Brigjen Sudiarto - Jl. Majapahit is one of the impacts of high traffic growth and the traffic system is not functioning properly. By considering the geometric conditions of the road, traffic volume, side obstacles and the intersection environment which is a commercial area, it is necessary to analyze the cause of the congestion at the intersection. The research conducted was to conduct a field survey to obtain primary and secondary data which are then processed using intersection management. Planning uses the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) and uses the Excel 2013 program to process traffic data. Traffic data is obtained from recording the number of vehicles in the field for 3 days (April 29, 01 and May 4, 2019) during peak hours and presented in the form of a vehicle data table, then the behavior of the intersection can be analyzed. From the analysis results obtained value of the degree of saturation (DS) at the intersection of Jl. Brigjen Sudiarto - Jl. Majapahit 0.991. This value has exceeded the required value by the 1997 MKJI, DS ≤ 0.85. The analysis shows that the average traffic delay is 141,320 sec / pcu, so this intersection has a Service Level (LOS) F (> 60).

Optimization of traffic on a large public road network is a complex task. Reversible direction lane theory is an interesting and special method within this subject. This can completely support the fluctuation or alteration of main congested directions existing in the traffic dynamics (time of day, seasonal, etc.) on the existing road surfaces. In such case, certain subsystems of the main network cease to exist, and subsystems working with new connections take their place. This type of routing therefore changes the structure of the system ‘in an optimal direction’, but many practical and safety questions arise. The authors have examined the modelling of a Reversible Lane System (RLS) created based on a simple part of a road network, which is segmented into elements. Functions of each network element and contacts between them cease operating in the course of such change while new contacts and new function elements are activated instead. The article presents the mathematical modelling of the problem. It points out the fundamental questions of the structure change and exemplifies the above using a simple example. The authors studied a general mathematical model describing the RLS. They examined the availability of the optimal control in a sample network depending on the traffic density, using a new principle, which responds to the dynamic change of the structure of the network graph. It can be shown, that the results from the model are in harmony with the real traffic values based on measurements made in road traffic systems working with RLS.

Klampis Jaya Road, Surabaya City, has a fairly heavy traffic flow, especially during working hours. This resulted in congestion on Klampis Jaya Road and not a few motorists who violated traffic regulations such as turning around Mleto Road. This study aimed to determine the current traffic flow performance and in 2024 at the intersection on Klampis Jaya Road, Surabaya City, predicted the traffic flow performance around the road and intersection on Klampis Jaya Road Surabaya City. The research method used was non-signalized intersection analysis using the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual. The calculation of the traffic performance of the four intersections in Klampis Jaya showed the Degree of Saturation (DS) and Service Level (TP) of each intersection. Traffic performance for the four intersections in 2021 was DS = 0.752 and TP = C (Enough), with the characteristics of stable traffic flow, was restricted movement. The traffic performance for the four intersections in 2024 was DS = 0.95 and TP = D (Less), with the characteristics of traffic flow stable movement being limited.

Abstract The Meulaboh - Tapak Tuan road is the main access road linking several districts, Aceh Barat, Aceh Barat Daya, Aceh Selatan, and Aceh Tengah. After the earthquake and tsunami hit Aceh, its economies experienced rapid growth. This greatly influences the distribution of traffic volume on specific road segments, including the increasingly congested Meulaboh - Tapak Tuan roads. As a result, the number of private vehicles is increasing. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the performance of roads in the area based on the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual, as well as to analyze the level of road services at present and in the future. The analysis of the road performance can be measure by several indicators such as traffic flow (Q), capacity (C), degree of saturation (DS), free flow velocity (FV), and level of service on the road section. The calculations were obtained from 3 days direct observation in the field from 07:00 to 19:00 with Monday and Thursday representing workdays and Saturday representing weekend. The highest conversion value of traffic flow in 2020 was 1357 pcu/hour for (Q), 2654 pcu/hour for the actual capacity value (C), and 0.51 for the degree of saturation (DS). The analysis results show that the degree of saturation < 0.75. According to Marga (1997), it is considered in good condition with smooth traffic flow at the service level of C. The road performance analysis for the next five years for traffic flow was 2093 pcu/hour for Q and 0.79 for the degree of saturation (DS). The service level is categorized as level D. It is necessary to find solutions and alternatives to reduce the degree of saturation (DS) value by increasing the value of capacity. Keywords: Road Performance, Traffic Volume, Service Level __________________________ Abstrak Ruas jalan lintas Meulaboh – Tapak Tuan merupakan akses yang menghubungkan beberapa kabupaten yaitu Aceh Barat, Aceh Barat Daya, Aceh Selatan, Aceh tengah dan lainnya. The creation of a transportation system that ensures the movement of people, vehicles, and or goods smoothly, safely, quickly, cheaply, comfortably, and by the environment is already a development goal in the transportation sector. The target functional level of the road network will be determined by the level of traffic flow through the road network. Based on data from the Central Bureau of Statistics in 2017, Dumai City has national roads with a total length of 72 km, and provincial roads with a total length of 140 km. Every day nearly thousands of vehicles pass through that road. The trip that is carried out can cause quite a lot of displacement at the same time and has the potential to cause high travel generation. This activity certainly can result in jams. As a national road, Jalan Soekarno-Hatta must meet the requirements of comfort and safety so that traffic on this road can run well. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the road performance. The purpose of research is to find out the value of the degree of saturation and the value of the level of service on that road. The evaluation on the research by using PKJI 2014. Of the evaluations carried out, it is known that the Soekarno-Hatta road segment will experience congestion on Saturdays and Sundays. The highest peak hour is on Sunday at 14:00-15:00 WIB with a volume of vehicle 2300 vehicles/hour. Soekarno-Hatta's service level on Monday and Tuesday is in class D, while on Saturday and Sunday, the level of road service is in class F. Thus it can be concluded that the performance of the Soekarno-Hatta road section is classified as poor, so that action is needed for the future.

The position of Ki Hadjar Dewantara road is strategic location, where as an education center, office and residential center are often happened to increase in vehicle volume, especially during peak hour, consequently, this condition makes congestion on this road. There are ideas for road widening, moved side barriers and one.way traffic management, which are purposing to know traffic performance currently and generating a recommendation of traffic systems. By observations on traffic surveys were carried out on the road at 06.00 to 18.00 WIT. Traffic performance analysis is based on the 1997 Indonesia Road Capacity Manual (MKJI). The results of the Ki Hajar Dewantara road analysis showed a high level of side resistance with a value of degree of saturation (DS) in segment 1, which was 0.78, free flow speed of 31.2 km / hour, road capacity of 1953 pcu / hour. Furthermore, as an alternative solution the application of a one way system on the road section that showed a better performance with DS = 0.32 for west to east and DS = 0.22 east to west with a service level B category with stable current, speed slightly limited by traffic, the driver has enough freedom to choose a speed. The design for implementing this one-way system is good for solving problems.

Abstract Highway in Malang there that needs to be analyzed is Intersections Letjend S. Parman Street – Ciliwung Street and Letjend Sutoyo Street – Letjend Selorejo. The road is an arterial road in the city of Malang with a high vehicle density level (Saputra, 2013). The Street was a high traffic flow led to queues or long saturated flow that is not supported by the settings of the light signals in accordance with the conditions in the field so often causes congestion. From finding a solution the traffic density in the study Letjend S Parman Street – Ciliwung Street and Letjend Sutoyo Street – Letjend Selorejo with Indonesia Highway Capasity Manual (IHCM). After stages 3-signal coordination calculation in Ciliwung Intersection of Malang, Intersection obtained time peak hours at the intersection area occurred at 11.00 – 12.00 GMT. Performance 3-waay junction on the Ciliwung Malang at this time has not met the target. Seen from there is still a Degree of Saturation (DS) which do not meet the targets ( ≤ 0,75), namely 0,83. After having don e engineering into 3 phases and cycle time 100 minutes Degree of Saturation (DS) be 0,77. Keywords: intersection, peak hours, capacity and degree saturation

Commercial buildings in the Bassura Mall area (Jalan Jenderal Basuki Rahmat) have resulted in congestion in the area. Vehicles use road bodies to park their vehicles, sidewalks that are used as trading places by street vendors, and the position of the entrance / exit of Bassura Mall for four-wheeled vehicles that is not strategic. These things have caused the author to choose a location in the Bassura Mall area (Jalan Jenderal Basuki Rahmat), East Jakarta which is a local route, where East Jakarta as one of the big cities in the Special Capital Region of Jakarta also experiences high vehicle growth, p. This can be seen on roads in East Jakarta which often experience congestion during rush hour. The purpose of this research is to determine the traffic performance in the area. The method used in this research is direct observation method at the research location and field data collection in the form of parking volume data, pedestrian volume, vehicle volume entering / exiting Mall Bassura, traffic volume, and road performance. Observations were made on weekdays and holidays. The results of the analysis of the performance of the road sections show that the traffic volume on the roads around Mall Bassura is 32,433 SMP / hour on weekdays and 22,577 SMP / hour on holidays, with the service level index being in the F category on weekdays and holidays. Thus, the congestion factors mentioned above have resulted in a decrease in road capacity which has an impact on road performance.
