The failure of academic supervision in various areas is more dominant due to inappropriate scheduling. In addition, the awareness of the importance of implementing academic supervision is also an inhibiting factor in the implementation of supervision. The era of media technology is a challenge for educational institutions from elementary to high levels. The problems that arise are related to the habit of teaching and learning processes based on communication technology. An interesting phenomenon is that Central Java ranks third in having the most madrasas in Indonesia. So it is necessary to know the mechanism for the implementation and evaluation of academic supervision. The challenge of providing supervision in the era of communication technology is seen from three points of view, namely intensity, quality, degree of relevance associated with teacher performance in madrasah. The research method used is mixed research by relying on the strength of the description that comes from the informant. And also involve respondents to explore quantitative data. The informants involved were 5 school principals and supervisors. Meanwhile, there are 190 madrasah teachers in Central Java. Data obtained from interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used the Milles and Huberman pattern. The results of this study explain that the intensity, quality and degree of relevance of educational supervision are in the average category. This condition is able to improve the performance of madrasah teachers in Central Java. The teachers support online supervision and the method preferences tend to be CCTV, virtual and fingerprint.

Supervision is guidance given to all school staff so that they can improve their ability to develop better teaching and learning situations. The person who carries out supervision is called a supervisor. Supervision can be interpreted as coaching. While the target of coaching can be for school principals, teachers, administrative staff. But what becomes the target of supervision also means teacher guidance.The aim of educational supervision is to develop better teaching and learning situations through coaching and enhancing the teaching profession. The functions and objectives of educational supervision include: As the direction of education, goals as an end point, goals as a starting point to achieve other goals. In this case, the educational objectives of one another are inseparable.Supervision has a very important goal to achieve, therefore supervision certainly has very important benefits. Among the benefits of supervision are Coordinating all school businesses, Equipping school leadership, Extending the experience of teachers, Stimulating creative school businesses, Providing continuous assessment and facilities and many more benefits or functions of the educational supervision. In addition to having goals and functions, supervision also has basic principles in the implementation process. Then supervision also has various types, among which are autocracy, democratic, pseudo-democratic, diplomatic manipulation of Laissez-faire

Quality of educational institutions is supported by several elements of the system including educational supervision carried out by school principals as supervisors as mandated by the Minister of National Education Regulation (Permendiknas) Number 13 of 2007 concerning Standards for Principals who must supervise education in the form of supervision and assessment of teacher performance. and employees who aim to assist teachers and employees in achieving educational goals ranging from planning, implementation and evaluation so that they can be optimal in carrying out institutional tasks within an organizational frame that leads to institutional quality. Educational supervision functions to coordinate all school efforts including all stakeholders in the school organization and expand experience through giving constructive criticism from the principal to teachers and employees. References for educational supervision include curriculum components, curriculum content and curriculum development strategies, improvement of teaching references in terms of making lesson plans, optimizing educational functions and educational goals as stated in the school's vision and mission.

Supervision is the development of education in the form of guidance or guidance toward improving the situation of education in general and improving the quality of teaching and learning and learning in particular. Supervision also assist in the development of teaching and learning situation in order to obtain better conditions.The purpose of this study was to analyze Competence Implementation Supervision Principal in Education in Elementary School District of Luwuk Uwedikan East. While the usefulness of research that provide scientific information to the perpetrators of both the level of school education and the government about the competence of principals of this research will be conducted in February until May 2015 with the location of the District research SDN Uwedikan East Luwuk, Methods This study used a descriptive explanatory. Technique data collecting conducted quantitative and qualitative, with data collection for the pilot and two data collection instruments in order to research the truth. To obtain data regarding the competency of school principals in the implementation of the supervision of education that will be collected, processed and analyzed, the researchers used several methods of collecting data through observation, interviews, questionnaires and Documentation, instrument used in these documentation techniques are guidelines on matters needed to strengthen the information obtained through observation, interviews and questionnaires carried out. From the research while through the distribution of a questionnaire to show the competence of principals in the implementation of educational supervision in SDN Uwedikan District of East Luwuk based on the assessment scale is high with the acquisition of the average score was 71.3.

Open Learning Course Application For Islamic Education Institutions (Perception Analysis of Pesantren Management in Kabupaten Kudus-Central Java).Information and Communication Technology (TIK) is speeding up. It also affects the development of the distribution of pure religious sciences. Islamic educational institutions such as pesantren are the spearheads in the distribution of religious knowledge that still survive with traditional learning models. This article aims to find out the perception of managers of Islamic educational institutions, especially pesantren about open learning based online. The method used is qualitative with observation and distribution questionnaire to get data. The result is that the majority of pesantren managers in Kabupaten Kudus, Central Java Indonesia still retains traditional learning models rather than trying to develop open learning courses because of the lack of reference and insight about open learning course. Socialization about open learning and the importance of the distribution of pure religious knowledge is needed for the development of open learning in the future.

In its development, the supervisor of the education unit is more directed to owning and understanding even demanded to be able to practice what is contained in the ministerial regulation on oversight. One of the demands is about competence in understanding the methods and techniques in supervision. A supervisor is a professional person when carrying out their duties, he acts on the basis of scientific principles to improve the quality of education. Teachers are one component of educational resources requiring supervision services. The importance of educational supervision assistance to teachers is deeply rooted in the life of the community. [1] To carry out supervision requires strengths that can see sharply to problems in improving the quality of education, use sensitivity to understand it and not just use ordinary eye sight, because what it observes is not concrete, visible problems, but requires sensitivity to the inner eye. A supervisor fosters improved academic quality related to efforts to create better learning conditions in the form of academic aspects, not merely physical material problems. When supervision is faced with the performance and quality control of education by the supervisor of the education unit, it certainly has a different mission from supervision by the school principal. It aims to provide services to school principals in developing the quality of educational institutions and facilitating school principals to be able to carry out institutional management effectively and efficiently. In this educational supervision paper will be discussed regarding the notion of educational supervision, the purpose of educational supervision, the function of educational supervision, basic principles of supervision and types of educational supervision.

The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in learning institutions is an order of the day in various parts of the world. This primarily has to do with its significance in teaching and learning on one hand, and its associated obstacles on the other. ICT been in used in Nigerian higher institutions for decades, steadily making progress, however, many obstacles were noted in the literatures. This study is conceptualized to review ICT usage in Nigeria and the associated obstacles amongst tertiary institutions in Nigeria. The study is asked to pinpoint these by extracting related literatures. The study identified obstacles such as inconsistent electricity supply, computer illiteracy, high cost of internet data and electronic services, fear of change, fear of redundancy, lack of adequate facilities and the issue of internet and electronic security. It is suggested that provision of consistent electricity supply, training and ICT refresher courses and establishment of ICT centers to curtail cyber- crime etc. will go a long way in overcoming the barriers of effective integration and usage of ICT in the Nigerian tertiary institutions.

Information and communication technology (ICT) is major backbone of Indian education system. Now days, the higher educational Institutions are using ICT based teaching and learning. Many of researchers, educators and students from the world are adapting sharply ICT in their educational life. Indian students have variety of thoughts towards ICT usage in their education. We have tried to explore the outlook difference among Indian students receiving higher education in Universities. More than five hundred students from six Universities located in Haryana and Punjab have participated in this study. This article is focusing on to find outlook difference among students towards ICT in relation to their locality and level of study. The statistically test like Z-test and T-test proves that educational standard and demography of students did not affect the outlook towards ICT awareness in higher education. This paper will support to investigators over the globe those are conducting their research on ICT awareness in higher educational institutions.
