One of areas which producing sweet potato is Cilembu Village, located in Pamulihan Subdistrict, Sumedang Regency.  The sweet Potato is famous as ubi Cilembu. The objectives of this research were to identify internal and external factors affecting raw material availability and continuity of marketing system of sweet potato Cilembu and to recommend alternative of effective and efficient marketing strategy of sweet potato Cilembu. This research used purposive sampling and also primary and secondary data. Respondents consisted of 30 people from 107 population of sweet potatoes Cilembu in Cilembu village. Analysis was conducted using IFE and EFE matrix, internal-external (IE) matrix, SWOT and QSPM method. From several strategies by using QSPM method, it had chosen one strategy to boost Cilembu sweet potato marketing by KUCP. The strategy was to encourage efforts in creating processing business medium scale of Cilembu sweet potatoes in order to get competitive processed products.

Cindy Group is a company grouped as SMEs which produces boiled fish, both traditional and hygienic. Companies to keep their survival in order to survive in a competitive market, must have a strategy to attract consumers to buy their products. One of the best strategy is to evaluate and develop appropriate marketing strategies. The objectives of this research are: (1) to identify and analyze internal and external factors influencing Cindy Group marketing strategy, (2) to formulate Cindy Group marketing strategy, and (3) to prioritize Cindy Group marketing strategy. Based on internal and external factors, Cindy Group formulated strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats toward marketing strategy using Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) and External Factor Evaluation (EFE). The total score in the IFE and EFE matrices illustrated that the firm's stable position in responding to external situations. The total IFE score of 3.3436 indicated that the strengths of Cindy Group could overcome the weaknessess very well. Total EFE score of 2.5545 indicated that Cindy Group was good enough to respond the opportunities and minimize threats. Based on QSPM analysis, the priority strategy to be applied in the marketing of fishery processed products at UMKM Cindy Group which was expanding marketing network, maintaining quality, increasing sales service and increasing cooperation with related institutions and cooperatives/other SMEs in order to get raw material access.

The competence of farmers in cultivating comprises the accuracy of using production inputs, appropriate cultivation techniques, marketing of production, good administrative, and ability of using information technology.  This study aims to analyze internal and external factors affecting farmers' competence and formulate strategic priorities in improving the competence of rice farmers. The research used a survey method located in Gunung Toar District, Kuantan Singingi Regency of Riau Province withnumber of sample of 50 rice farmers. The data source came from primary data and secondary data. Data were analyzed using SWOT and QSPM analysis. The results showed that the internal factors owned by farmers were the ability to use efficient marketing channels (strengths) and the use of communication tools that were still limited (weaknesses). While the external factors were the existence of government policies on food security (opportunities) and fluctuating production selling prices (threats). Through the IFE and EFE matrices, strategic positions are obtained in the ST strategy quadrant. QSPM assessment on the strategy of building cooperation with marketers as a permanent consumer is an alternative priority strategy to improve farmers' competence.

ABSTRACTThe Management of Parking Lanscape in the Tourist Destination of Ceking, Sub-District of Tegallalang, Gianyar Regency, Province of Bali.This study aims to Know the parking area management system implemented in Heritage Ceking terms of the Landscape Architecture and analyze the factors that affect the maintenance of parking area attractions skinny. The method used in this research is survey method with interview techniques (interviews), techniques for distributing questionnaires and observation techniques (observation). Data sought is the primary and secondary data. Primary data in this study were obtained from internal interviews (worker object Ceking Travel, landowners and visitors). Secondary data were obtained from the Internet and books or other reference is the village of Tegallalang profile. The results showed that the management system is applied to the parking area manager Heritage Ceking during the past year, namely by forming BPOWC (Object Travel Agency business Ceking), shelter under Pekraman Tegallalang village. Standard operating procedures (SOP) management of Heritage Ceking governed by an organizational structure through Paruman between BPOWC with Pekraman Tegallalang village. Factors affecting the maintenance of parking areas at Heritage Ceking including internal and external factors. Internal factors including site conditions, operational management of the landscape, such as the management of the park, hard materials and planning by managers. External factors include the user's perception of the existence Heritage Area Parking Ceking including specification (beauty, cleanliness, garden arrangement, crop conditions, the condition of the hard material, comfort and safety). Hasil pengelolaan Area Parkir Obyek Wisata Ceking tergolong baik dengan skor rata-rata 69,3%, sesuai dengan Skala Lekert.

This study aims to determine the marketing strategy and analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the marketing of ibrahim savings products planned by the Bank Muamalat Manado Branch. This research is a descriptive qualitative study with data collection using data using interview and literature studies, while secondary data and primary data from Bank Muamalat employees in Manado Branch. The strategy used by Bank Muamalat Indonesia Branch Manado is to analyze internal and external factors. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the marketing strategy applied is that there are two major factors, namely internal factors and external factors, internal factors using the method of segmentation, targeting, positioning and marketing mix. As well as analyzing external environmental factors such as political, economic, social and technological factors also analyze industrial environments such as newcomers, competition in industry, threats from substitute products and buyers' bargaining power.

ABSTRACT PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF THE FIELD FARM EDUCATOR IN PINELENG DISTRICT PINELENG OF MINAHASA REGENCY. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of field farm educator and to know the success of the field farm educator at Pineleng district of Minahasa regency. Respondents were applied by survey method at 1 supervisor, 4 field farm educators and 30 selected  farmers as targets of counseling. Data were collected by interview, observation and documentation. Sources of data were including primary data in the form of extension internal program, age, education, experience, and the number of dependent family. External extension factors were involving  infrastruc-ture, government policies, the intensity of illumination, and the distance of field farm educator residence. The second primary data were taken regarding the indicators of appraisal extension educator office. Secondary data were obtained from agencies associated with this study, such as the BP3K office of the Pineleng district and Pineleng district office. Data analysis was using qualitative deskriprif. The analysis showed that the internal and external factors affecting one to each other of the performance of the field farm extension of educators. Extension performance appraisal done by superiors to field farm educator assessment itself indicated good category. This good category indicated that from nine assessment indicators, seven of them were done by field farm educators. Field farm educators were not optimal in doing extension because the compiled program did not reach the target. In conclusion internal and external factors influencing the extension performance of field farm educators, in the judgment of superiors are in accordance with the duties and functions of each field farm educator. On the basis of this study, the result of the extension was not optimal because more farmers did not participate and achieve in extension and the planned program objectives of the field farm educators.

To achieve the objectives, the method used PRA, FGD, RRA, indepth interview and surveys. This study was held for 3 months (May to July 2017). Data required was primary and secondary data furthermore data analysed by descriptive and present by tabular form. The determination of catagory based on assessment or score. The result showed that internal factors that most affected the performance of agricultural extension worker was time work. External factor that most affected the performance of agricultural extension worker was incentive as extension worker. The performance showed excellent result in total score 1,091. In the future, the performance of extension worker should be improved to create significant benefit for farmers in terms of the increasing income and welfare.

ABSTRAK Peningkatan jumlah Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) perlu terus dilakukan, di samping peningkatan upaya untuk mengembangkan usaha yang telah berjalan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal, menentukan strategi serta menyusun program dan kegiatan pengembangan UKM kelompok makanan, minuman, dan tembakau. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kota Tarakan, Provinsi Kalimantan Timur, Indonesia pada bulan Januari hingga Juni  2018. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan data primer dan sekunder dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 21 responden. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT).  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi pengembangan UKM antara lain motivasi, bahan baku, tenaga kerja, modal, keuangan, teknologi, pemasaran, iklim usaha, dan pembinaan. Strategi pengembangan UKM dalam kelompok makanan, minuman, dan tembakau di Kota Tarakan adalah agresif. Program-program pengembangan UKM antara lain program identifikasi dan pengembangan potensi daerah, program penguatan kemampuan ekonomi UKM, dan program peningkatan jumlah wirausahawan muda. Program tersebut dijabarkan dalam berbagai kegiatan pokok.Kata kunci: UKM, faktor internal, faktor eksternal, strategi usaha, dan program pengembangan. ABSTRACT The increasing quantity Medium and Small Businesses (MSB) is  needed to be done as well as the increasing efforts to develop the existing MSB. The aims of this study were to identify the internal and external factors, to determine strategy also to arrange the programs and activities to develop the MSB of  cigarette, drink, and food group. The study was done in Tarakan City, East Kalimantan Province, Indonesia since January to June 2018. This study collected primary dan secondary data with total sample as many as 21 respondents. Data were analyzed by using the analysis Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT). The results of this study show internal and external factors affect the development of  MSB such as motivation, raw material, labor, capital, finance, teknologi, marketing, business climate, and assistance. The strategy to develop MSB in cigarette, drink, and food group is aggresive. Programs develop MSB such as identification and development of regional potency, strengthening of MSB economic ability, and increasing of young entreprenuers. Farmers participation is crucial for succeeding in the implementation of agricultural insurance in Indonesia. The purposes of this research are analyzing farmers' form and level of participation and also identifying some factors affecting farmer’s participation in agricultural insurance. The research was conducted in Curug Bitung Village, District of Nanggung, Bogor Regency involving 40 respondents. Primary data includes farmers characteristics, farmers participation form and farmers participation level as program beneficiaries. The data were processed using multivariable linear regression test. The results showed that the intensity of communication, age, education level, income level and length of stay did not significantly affect the participation level of farmers whose majority were at the level of no participation. Non-compliance occurs during program implementation. The form of participation shown by farmers in the program is varied.Keywords:  agricultural insurance, internal and external factors, farmers' participation ABSTRAK Partisipasi petani menjadi hal yang penting dalam rangka menyukseskan penerapan asuransi pertanian di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis bentuk dan tingkat partisipasi petani dalam asuransi pertanian serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi partisipasi petani dalam program asuransi pertanian. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Curug Bitung, Kecamatan Nanggung, Kabupaten Bogor dengan melibatkan 40 responden. Data primer meliputi karakteristik petani, bentuk partisipasi petani dan tingkat partisipasi petani penerima program. Data diolah menggunakan uji regresi linier multivariable. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan intensitas komunikasi, usia, tingkat pendidikan, tingkat pendapatan dan lama tinggal tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap tingkat partisipasi petani yang  mayoritas berada pada tingkatan tidak ada partisipasi. Ketidaksesuaian banyak terjadi selama penyelenggaraan program. Adapun bentuk partisipasi yang ditunjukkan petani dalam program bervariasi.Kata kunci: asuransi pertanian, faktor internal-eksternal, partisipasi petani

The Covid-19 Pandemic has hurt the beverage outlets' sales. This study investigates the strength of the internal and external factors that influenced sales in the online platforms of hype drinks. Thus, the study focused on the adaptation strategy to improve the sales in the online platform of hype drinks under environmentally-health pressures. The approach was mixed-method by obtaining the data through questionnaires, interviews, and observation. The participant in this study was consumer, employee, and owner.  Data analysis is conducted under the SWOT analysis that has four steps in presenting the data. The finding concluded that internal and external factors positively impacted the business strategy to increase online sales of beverage outlets by riding the wave of hype among customers.
