Teba land change of function at Nyuh Kuning Village. Nyuh Kuning Village is one of four pakraman (traditional) village in Mas Village, Ubud District, Gianyar Regency, Bali Province which has developed well because of its tourism sector. The rapid development of tourism has resulted significant changes in the useof land in this village. This study aims to explore the pattern of teba landuses changes due to tourism, the factors that cause these changes, and the consequences of these changes on green open space. The research method used was qualitative research. The sample selection used was purposive random sampling technique which was processed by systematic triangulation. The result showed that the change of teba was as follows: 22,7% for domestic dwelling, 6,8% for comercial buildings/domestic buildings with half of the land functioned for plantation for religious purposes and for food needs, 15,9% without teba land, 9,1% are still intact, and the rest of 45,5% as a commercial building for financial needs of the community. The factors that affect the change in the function of teba were internal factors; social, economic and cultural. As well as external factors such as political and policy factors. Futhermore, the consequences of changes in the function of the teba have a significant impact on the disruption of the bio-ecological (physical) functions, social and cultural functions, the balance of the ecosystem, and the aesthetic/architectural functions of the traditional Balinese heritage.

Study of Ecotourism Management in Bendosari Village, Pujon District, Malang Regency. The concept of ecotourism is one alternative to develop an area into a tourist destination that pays attention to environmental sustainability by utilizing the potential of natural and cultural resources of the local community.Therefore, the existence of the concept of ecotourism can ensure the preservation of nature and its ecosystem. This study aims to: 1) Identify the potential and problems in Bendosari Village, Pujon District, Malang Regency, 2) Identify the feasibility level of ecotourism in Bendosari Village, Pujon District, MalangRegency, and 3) Develop a strategy for developing ecotourism areas in Bendosari Village, Pujon District, Malang Regency. Collecting data in this study using survey methods (observations and interviews), literature study and documentation methods. Analysis of the data used, namely: first qualitative descriptive analysis, second feasibility analysis based on the Guidelines (ADO-ODTWA) of the Director General of PHKA 2003 and the last is SWOT analysis. The results showed that: 1) The potential of natural resources in the ecotourism area of Bendosari Village, namely: the potential for flora and fauna, the potential for naturetourism, the potential for educational tourism, the potential for craft tourism and the potential for cultural tourism. The problems of ecotourism in Bendosari Village include the low quality of human resources, limited funds and the role of the Malang Regency Government which has not been active. 2) Ecotourism inBendosari Village is feasible to be developed as a tourist attraction with the results of the Guideline assessment (ADO-ODTWA) of 82.71%. 3) The strategy for developing Ecotourism in Bendosari Village is an expansion strategy (supporting offensive strategies) with alternative strategies that include: maximizing thedevelopment of ecotourism packages, empowering local communities in ecotourism activities, increasing security in tourist attractions, and maximizing tourism potential management.

Perceptions of pedestrian convenience on the pedestrian path of Gajah Mada Street Denpasar. Gajah Mada Street as an economic and tourist area requires good and comfortable physical infrastructure to support easy accessibility and circulation of visitors to the area. One of the physical infrastructures is a pedestrian lanewhich functions as an access to support pedestrian activities. The purpose of this study was to identify the physical conditions of the pedestrian paths and to determine the perception of pedestrian comfort on the pedestrian path at Gajah Mada Street. The research method used in this research is a survey method byperforming primary data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires and secondary data through literature study. Based on the research conducted, it is known that there are physical conditions and supporting facilities for the damaged pedestrian paths, in the form of materials and street furniture such as: seats, trash cans and roadside plants. Based on the assessment of perceptional respondents about the condition of pedestrian path has been considered comfortable and safe. The suggestion of this research is that it is necessary to improve the physical condition of the damaged pedestrians. The purpose of improving pedestrian facilities and infrastructure is to facilitate the pedestrians in order to be comfortable and safe in carrying outactivities on the pedestrian path.

Maintenance Identification on Vertical Garden at Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali. Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali has a vertical garden with an area of 10 m x 4 m. The Hotel is able to maintain the plant condition. The purpose of this research is to identify the vertical garden maintenance system at the Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali. The research method uses survey and literature study methods. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, and literature study. Data analysis methods with descriptive methods and scoring tables. The results about the identification of vertical garden maintenance systems consist of watering, water disposal system, trimming, fertilizing, replanting plants, media replacement, sanitation, pest and disease control. Watering in 2 hours creating high humidity in the media. The volume of water released is not fully experienced evapotranspiration. The planting media do not experience drought during the day, so the plants keep fresh. In the calculation of plant suitability values, the corresponding values are Hemigraphis alternata. Plants with adequate value are Epipremnum aureum, Asparagus densiflorus, Ananas bracteatus tricolor, Schefflera Arboricola, and Portulaca grandiflora. In the maintenance process requires a fertigation system to facilitate fertilization. The use of automated systems such as timmers will simplify the maintenance and a more scheduled.

Conceptual Design of Mumbul Christian Cemetery Badung Regency, Bali. Mumbul Christian Park has a land area of 1.6 ha and is located in a residential area. This study aims to identify the characteristics of the Mumbul Christian Cemetery, analyze and synthesize the potential and constraints on the site. This study useda survey method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and literature study. This study uses the Simonds (1996) design process stage method. The design process is divided into four stages, namely: Research, Analysis, Syntesis, and Design Plan. The division of space zones on the site is based on a concept that is in accordance with the meaning of death in Christianity, namely the zone of birth, the zone of temporary life and the zone of eternal life. The concept of Paradise of Memorial Park is the concept of a park as a garden of memories as well as a public space. The results of this research design can be used as a reference for thought and consideration in designing the landscape site and in other tomb garden areas.

Landscape Planning for Tourism Development in Gunung Padang, Padang City, West Sumatra. Gunung Padang is one of the tourist attractions located in the city of Padang, this area is surrounded by vegetation and animals that live well, so this tourist attraction is included in the protected and preserved tourist areas. It has tourism potential such as tourist attractions, tourist activities, and tourism supporting facilities. Various tourism potentials have not been developed as a whole by the management. Based on this, it is necessary to optimize and provide recommendations in order to be developed. The purpose of this research is to develop landscape planning to support tourism development in Gunung Padang, Padang City, through the stages of preparation, inventory, analysis, synthesis, and planning aimed at sustainable tourism development. Analysis and synthesis are carried out to produce basic concepts and concepts of tourism development. The final product of this research is the planned tourism development site in Gunung Padang. The division of space is based on the needs and according to the conditions owned by the tourist area in order to support security and comfort in travel activities. The final result of this research is a map of the plan of attractions and tourist activities, as well as a map of the layout plan of tourist facilities in Gunung Padang.

Study on the potential of gelar river tourist attractions, Batuagung Village as nature tourism. The Gelar River area is a tourist attractions that located in Batuagung Village. Gelar River planned to be developed into local tourism based on natural tourism. Local tourism is tourism whose scope is limited tocertain places, namely the Jembrana district. This study aims to determine the natural resources that have the potential as natural tourism and the potential development solutions in the Gelar River so that it can be developed into sustainable nature tourism. The method used is the survey method. The data collected in the form of primary data and secondary data. The techniques applied to collect the data in current study are observation, interviews, and literature study. The interview was conducted with the management of the Gelar River Tourist Attraction and the Jembrana District Forestry and Plantation Service. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the geographical location, climate and weather, topography and landform, surface materials, water, vegetation, and fauna are natural resources that have the potential to develop the Gelar river Tourist Attraction.

Study of vandalism level on softscape by park users at I Gusti Ngurah Made Agung Denpasar. This research was motivated by the existence of vandalism activities in I Gusti Ngurah Made Agung Park Denpasar as the result of human interactions between park user with their environment around this location as a public space. This study aims to identify level of vandalism and user perceptions of vandalism on softscape. The methods used in this research are survey method with collecting data techniques, observation, questionnaire distribution, and literature study. The result of this research showed that there are four variables that caused by vandalism on softscape in this area, such as scratching trees, nailing trees, littering around the plants and picking plants carelessly. The number of vandalism cases on softscape in this area reached about 13 cases that occurred with percentage 0.4% and western area or part of the field that is on Jalan Udayana is the area that received vandalism the most. Respondents in this study were visitors aged 12- 21 years old, which is the age of vandal on the park. The respondent’s perception of vandalism assumed that plants that are close or easy to reach by user and plants that have certain beauty or uniqueness are more vulnerable to be objects of vandalism. The low level of vandalism at I Gusti Ngurah Made Agung is still able to give users a sense of fun.

The effect of artificial lighting on visitors' perceptions and experiences in Sewaka Dharma City Park. Lighting is one factor that is quite important in a garden because it can make the environment comfortable and safe, especially at night. Sewaka Dharma City Park is a green open space in Denpasar which is equipped with various lighting facilities with aesthetic values. This study aims to identify the type and placement of artificial lighting, determine the perceptions and experiences of visitors to artificial lighting from the aspect of human needs and provide recommendations for artificial lighting designs in Sewaka Dharma City Park. The data collection methods used were observation, questionnaires, interviews, and literature study with tabulated data analysis, Chi-square test and descriptive analysis. There are eleven types of existing lights located in the pathway area, lawn, CPG (Children Playground), and youth park. The Chi-Square test shows that artificial lighting affects visibility and visual comfort aspects, but does not affect the visitor's security experience, which can also be interpreted that artificial lighting in Sewaka Dharma City Park fulfills security aspects so as to minimize unsafe actions for visitors. This study recommends the types and placements of artificial lighting in areas that have a high influence in supporting human needs from the aspect of visibility and visual comfort, namely in the CPG area and youth park.

Land suitability analysis of the Sumberawan Temple landscape as a historical tourist attraction in Singosari, Malang Regency. Sumberawan Temple is located in Toyomarto Village, Singosari District, Malang Regency. The Sumberawan Temple area has a natural landscape, unique landscape beauty, historical buddhist temple buildings and preserved flora and fauna so that it has the potential to be developed into historical tourism objects. However, the absence of land suitability analysis for tourism in Sumberawan Temple, could possibly threaten and lose its historical value. This study aimed to analyze the land suitability of theSuberawan Temple landscape as a historical tourist attraction in Singosari, Malang Regency. Data collection techniques used in this study were quantitative descriptive methods. While the method of analysis was the method of land suitability analysis consisting of topography analysis, soil characteristics, hydrology, and land cover. The results showed that the development of a suitable area of Candi Sumberawan was 12,96 Ha (82%) and a very suitable area was 2,84 Ha (18%) of the total area of 15,80 Ha (100%).
