This study aimed to determine the internal and external factors that affect the performance of agricultural extension worker in the Tenggarong Subdistrict of Kutai Kartanegara District. To achieve the objectives, the method used PRA, FGD, RRA, indepth interview and surveys. This study was held for 3 months (May to July 2017). Data required was primary and secondary data furthermore data analysed by descriptive and present by tabular form. The determination of catagory based on assessment or score. The result showed that internal factors that most affected the performance of agricultural extension worker was time work. External factor that most affected the performance of agricultural extension worker was incentive as extension worker. The performance showed excellent result in total score 1,091. In the future, the performance of extension worker should be improved to create significant benefit for farmers in terms of the increasing income and welfare.

The competence of farmers in cultivating comprises the accuracy of using production inputs, appropriate cultivation techniques, marketing of production, good administrative, and ability of using information technology.  This study aims to analyze internal and external factors affecting farmers' competence and formulate strategic priorities in improving the competence of rice farmers. The research used a survey method located in Gunung Toar District, Kuantan Singingi Regency of Riau Province withnumber of sample of 50 rice farmers. The data source came from primary data and secondary data. Data were analyzed using SWOT and QSPM analysis. The results showed that the internal factors owned by farmers were the ability to use efficient marketing channels (strengths) and the use of communication tools that were still limited (weaknesses). While the external factors were the existence of government policies on food security (opportunities) and fluctuating production selling prices (threats). Through the IFE and EFE matrices, strategic positions are obtained in the ST strategy quadrant. QSPM assessment on the strategy of building cooperation with marketers as a permanent consumer is an alternative priority strategy to improve farmers' competence.

This research is motivated by the number of traffic violation cases carried out by the community in Bangka Belitung. Many traffic violations carried out by children. This study aims to determine the number of traffic violators based on the level of education of the people in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province in 2016, thus it can be seen the number of traffic violators at certain levels of education in the Bangka Belitung region. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. This descriptive research is used to describe an event or event and social phenomenon in factual and systematic. This method is used to explain the data contained in the table by using descriptive explanations. The data used is secondary data. The results showed that the highest violations in Pangkalpinang City compared to other districts. Based on the data obtained, the high school level in the city of Pangkalpinang becomes the highest number of traffic violators. Many factors cause violations among students, namely internal and external factors. Internal factors come from within the individual, while external factors are found in the surrounding environment. Need appropriate handling to overcome the occurrence of various traffic violations among students. The method taken can be preventive and repressive.   Keywords: BPS, students, minor violations.

One product from the sugar cane is brown sugar cane. ‘UKM Bumi Asih’ is one of the producer of the sugar cane in Bondowoso Regency. Brown sugar cane has potential prospect to developed because it can be used to any purposed (for household needs and beverage industries). This study was aimed to identify the internal and external factors that affected business development of brown sugar cane. The study were used the methods of internal factor evaluation (IFE) and eksternal factor evaluation (EFE). Internal factor analysis was performed to identify the company's internal strengths that can be used and anticipated weaknesses. External factor analysis was conducted to identify opportunities that can be exploited and threats that can be avoided. The scores output from matrix IFE and EFE were all categorized with total score 2.812 for internal factors and 3.0315 for external factor. Both scores were above 2.5 which meas that the internal position was strong enough. So its has the ability above the average to take advantage of the power and opportunities to anticipated the internal weakness and the threats. Abstract Objectives: The Best-Worst Method is considered as a novel and innovative way to identify and prioritize ever-changing internal and external factors affecting health care performance. Results: After screening the large number of factors using the “content validity ratio”, a Pairwise comparisons were conducted between the best and the worst criteria and the other one. Then Modeling the research problem through linear programming and finding the optimal weights.the most effective internal factors from the experts’ viewpoint were the financial indicators such as “the ratio of personnel wage costs to the total revenues”. The most important external factor that was “structure of the payment system and strategic service purchasing by insurance”.external factors had greater impacts on the performance of public hospitals than internal factors. Therefore, when assessing the performance and improvement interventions of hospital, not only internal indicators should be measured, but also external factors, including political and economic policies and approaches governing the health system need to be taken into account.

This study aims to investigate the factors inhibiting interest in entrepreneurship, especially in martabak entrepreneurs in Lebaksiu District, Tegal Regency. As the object of this research is in Lebaksiu Subdistrict which is divided into17 villages, researchers used  sample  three villages namely Lebaksiu Lor, Lebaksiu Kidul and Kajen. Descriptive qualitative methods is a method applied in this research. The data collection techniques used are with observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results showed that the inhibiting factors in martabak entrepreneurship concisted of factors originating from internal and external factors. Detected internal factors arise from within the entrepreneur martabak such as personal characteristics, experience, ability to control a business and capital factors. The second inhibiting factor is an external factor, which this factor comes from outside the private entrepreneur martabak which includes the environment, recruitment of employees who are proficient in martabak making and promotion to the mass media.

Komitmen karier adalah sikap yang ditunjukkan individu dalam mencapai tujuan karier.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hasil-hasil penelitian (literature review) mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi komitmen karier pada individu. Penelusuran literatur dilakukan pada database elektronik SAGE Journals, ProQuest, dan Science Direct dengan menggunakan kata kunci “career commitment”. Hasil penelusuran menunjukkan bahwa komitmen karier dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal yang mempengaruhi komitmen karier terdiri dari komitmen organisasi, keterlibatan kerja, kepuasan kerja, nilai kerja, pengalaman kerja, kepribadian, dan self-efficacy sedangkan faktor eksternal terdiri dari situasi kerja yang meliputi kondisi kerja, persepsi pensiun, persepsi terhadap ancaman dalam bekerja, dorongan yang ditawarkan organisasi (offered inducements), kontribusi yang diharapkan organisasi (expected contributions), peluang promosi, dan reward. Kata kunci: Karier, komitmen karier Career commitment is the attitude that individuals show in achieving career goals. This study aims to examine the results of research or literature review on the factors that affect career commitments in individuals. The literature search was conducted on SAGE Journals, ProQuest, and Science Direct electronic databases using the keyword "career commitment". Search results showed that career commitments are influenced by internal and external factors. Internal factors affecting career commitment consist of organizational commitment, job involvement, job satisfaction, work value, work experience, personality, and self-efficacy while external factors consist of work situations covering working conditions, retirement perception, perceptions of threats in work, encouragement offered by the organization (offered inducements), the expected contribution of the organization (expected contributions), promotion opportunities, and rewards. Keywords: Career, career commitment

Abstract: Working on or how to work musically in a musical presentation or composition is an essential element. With the process of working on a musical dish, a good and quality dish will be achieved. The working process is essential to achieve the competency standard of a Javanese musical dish. In learning the practice of Javanese Karawitan, the Ethnomusicology Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Mulawarman University, encountered problems in the implementation of this working process. It has an impact on the lack of achievement of learning competency standards. The purpose of this paper is to describe the factors that influence the non-achievement of competency standards in learning Javanese musical practice in terms of working on Javanese karawitan. The method used is descriptive analysis. The data collection technique was done by interview, literature study, and qualitative analysis of the work. The results showed that there were internal and external factors. Internal factors include (1) differences in the cultural background of each student, (2) students have not been able to determine the direction of working on karawitan, and (3) students have not been able to determine the considerations for working on karawitan. The external factor is the learning media used, namely the incomplete Javanese gamelan instrument. It is hoped that the results of this study can be used as material for evaluating learning in Javanese Karawitan practice courses.   Abstrak: Garap atau cara kerja musikal dalam sajian gending atau komposisi karawitan merupakan unsur penting. Dengan adanya proses garap pada sebuah sajian gending karawitan, akan tercapai sebuah sajian yang baik dan berkualitas. Proses garap menjadi hal yang penting untuk mencapai standar kompetensi dari sebuah sajian karawitan Jawa. Pada pembelajaran praktik Karawitan Jawa Program studi Etnomusikologi, Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, Universitas Mulawarman mengalami kendala dalam pelaksanaan proses garap ini. Hal ini berdampak pada belum tercapainya standar kompetensi pembelajarannya. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tidak tercapainya standar kompetensi dalam pembelajaran praktik karawitan Jawa dalam hal garap pada karawitan Jawa. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analisis. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, studi pustaka, dan analisis garap karya secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal meliputi (1) perbedaan latar belakang budaya setiap mahasiwa, (2) mahasiswa belum bisa dalam menentukan arah garap karawitan, dan (3) mahasiswa belum bisa menentukan pertimbangan garap karawitan. Faktor eksternalnya adalah media pembelajaran yang digunakan, yaitu instrumen gamelan Jawa belum lengkap. Diharapkan dari hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Praktik Karawitan Jawa.

This research entitled "Bilingual of Employee Tourism in Gianyar Regency, Bali". The purpose of this research is to know the bilingual of tourism employee in Gianyar based on topic, situation, aspect, and causal factor. The theory used is a sociolinguistic theory that was discovered by Mackey and Fishman. Methods and techniques of data collection used is a method refer to instrument techniques, see libat ably, and record. In the data analysis phase using qualitative and quantitative methods. In the presentation stage of data analysis using informal and formal methods. The population of this study is the entire employees engaged in tourism in Gianyar regency, Bali. The sample of this study was sixty respondents. Based on the analysis that has been done is known that employees working in the field of tourism in Gianyar mastered two to three languages. The modern topic of the language office realm that is often used is Indonesian, while for traditional topics the language is often used is the local language. For situations in the realm of the office, formal situations use the Indonesian language, whereas in informal situations often use local languages. Modern and traditional topics in the domestic realm of informal situations use local languages, namely Balinese and Javanese. However, the most widely encountered is the Balinese language. The Balinese language consists of two types, namely high and low. The high variety used by triwangsa and low variety is used by employees not triwangsa. In addition, the factors that cause bilinguality among employees are internal and external factors. Internal factors, namely age, gender, and daily life of respondents. External factors, ie speech, topic, and speaker contact. The biggest factor is the external factor.

One of areas which producing sweet potato is Cilembu Village, located in Pamulihan Subdistrict, Sumedang Regency.  The sweet Potato is famous as ubi Cilembu. The objectives of this research were to identify internal and external factors affecting raw material availability and continuity of marketing system of sweet potato Cilembu and to recommend alternative of effective and efficient marketing strategy of sweet potato Cilembu. This research used purposive sampling and also primary and secondary data. Respondents consisted of 30 people from 107 population of sweet potatoes Cilembu in Cilembu village. Analysis was conducted using IFE and EFE matrix, internal-external (IE) matrix, SWOT and QSPM method. From several strategies by using QSPM method, it had chosen one strategy to boost Cilembu sweet potato marketing by KUCP. The strategy was to encourage efforts in creating processing business medium scale of Cilembu sweet potatoes in order to get competitive processed products.
