Abstract: This study aims to determine the relationship between leg muscle power and leg length to the 100 meter running speed of the extracurricular members of SMAN 1 Teluk Batang. The method used is correlational with quantitative descriptive research. The data source of this research is students who take extracurricular activities with running speed of 100 meters and the data is to do a series of tests and measurements then the assessment is taken from the best score. The results showed that there was a relationship between leg muscle power and the results of running speed 100 meters r count r table (-0.7 0.514), there was a relationship between leg length and the result of running speed 100 r count r table (-0.82 0.514), there was a power relationship. leg muscles and leg length to running speed 100 meters rcount rtable (4.2 0.15). So, leg muscle power and leg length to 100 meter running speed have a significant relationship to the results of 100 meters running speed.Keywords: Power of leg muscles, leg length, running speed of 100 meters.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kekuatan otot tungkai dan panjang tungkai terhadap kecepatan lari 100 meter pada peserta ekstrakurikuler SMAN 1 Teluk Batang. Metode yang digunakan adalah korelasional dengan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dengan kecepatan lari 100 meter dan datanya dilakukan serangkaian tes dan pengukuran kemudian diambil penilaiannya dari skor terbaik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara kekuatan otot tungkai dengan hasil kecepatan lari 100 meter r hitung r tabel (-0,7 0,514), ada hubungan antara panjang tungkai dengan hasil kecepatan lari 100 r hitung r tabel (-0,82 0,514), ada hubungan kekuasaan. Otot tungkai dan panjang tungkai untuk kecepatan lari 100 meter rhitung rtabel (4.2 0.15). Jadi, kekuatan otot tungkai dan panjang tungkai terhadap kecepatan lari 100 meter memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan hasil kecepatan lari 100 meter.Kata kunci: Kekuatan otot tungkai, panjang tungkai, kecepatan lari 100 meter.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine and assess the ability of the physical condition of the participants in the football extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 15 Malang. This study used a quantitative descriptive survey design. The subjects of this study were 30 participants in extracurricular football activities at SMP Negeri 15 Malang. The data was collected using a test form measurement technique, namely a test of the ability of the physical condition in the form of a test of motion agility, movement speed, flexibility of motion and leg muscle explosive power. The results of data analysis on the participants of the extracurricular football activities at SMP Negeri 15 Malang included (1) shuttle run agility 43, 3% medium category (2) running speed 50 m 5.33% medium category (3) body flexibility sit and reach 43.3% medium category and (4) leg muscle explosive power standing board jump 33.3% moderate category. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the participants of extracurricular football activities at SMP Negeri 15 Malang, the physical condition of the agility element was included in the "medium" category, the element of running speed was included in the "medium" category, the flexibility element was included in the "medium" category, and the element of leg muscle explosive power was included in the "category" medium ”.   Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mengkaji kemampuan kondisi fisik peserta kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sepakbola SMP Negeri 15 Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan survei bentuk deskriptif kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian ini berjumlah 30 orang peserta kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sepakbola SMP Negeri 15 Malang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik pengukuran bentuk tes yaitu tes kemampuan kondisi fisik berupa tes kelincahan gerak, kecepatan gerak, kelentukan gerak dan daya ledak otot tungkai.Hasil analisis data pada peserta kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sepakbola SMP Negeri 15 Malang antara lain (1) kelincahan shuttle run 43,3% kategori sedang (2) kecepatan lari 50 m 5,33% kategori sedang (3) kelentukan tubuh sit and reach 43,3% kategori sedang dan (4) daya ledak otot tungkai standing board jump33,3% kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa pada peserta kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sepakbola SMP Negeri 15 Malang kemampuan kondisi fisik unsur kelincahantermasuk kategori “sedang”, unsur kecepatan lari termasuk kategori “sedang”, unsur kelentukan termasuk kategori “sedang”, dan unsur daya ledak otot tungkai termasuk kategori “sedang”.

Abstract:Electrical stimulation-induced leg muscle contractions provide a useful model for examining the role of leg muscle neural afferents during low-intensity exercise in persons with spinal cord-injury and their able-bodied cohorts. Eight persons with paraplegia (SCI) and 8 non-disabled subjects (CONTROL) performed passive knee flexion/extension (PAS), electrical stimulation-induced knee flexion/extension (ES) and voluntary knee flexion/extension (VOL) on an isokinetic dynamometer. In CONTROLS, exercise heart rate was significantly increased during ES (94 ± 6 bpm) and VOL (85 ± 4 bpm) over PAS (69 ± 4 bpm), but no changes were observed in SCI individuals. Stroke volume was significantly augmented in SCI during ES (59 ± 5 ml) compared to PAS (46 ± 4 ml). The results of this study suggest that, in able-bodied humans, Group III and IV leg muscle afferents contribute to increased cardiac output during exercise primarily via augmented heart rate. In contrast, SCI achieve raised cardiac output during ES leg exercise via increased venous return in the absence of any change in heart rate.

This study is correlational research that aims to find the contribution of leg muscleexplosive power to yield long jump squat style. The student sample was the son of varsity sportscoaching education Riau semester totaling 42 people. As the independent variable is theexplosive power leg muscle while dependent variable is the result of the long jump jongok style.Data (x) obtained from the test results without the leading long jump (standing board jump) toassess leg muscle explosive power while data (y) obtained from testing the long jump squat styleusing the prefix. Data were analyzed with statistical normality test is a test last lilifors alsoanalyzed the data to look for the correlation coefficient, and then proceed to test "t" after itsought the contribution. From the results of data processing for the normal distribution of dataobtained for the provision of data (x) and abnormally distributed in terms of data (y). r = 0.32,then through the test "t", t_ (count>) ttabel then there is a significant relationship between theexplosive muscle power with the outcome long jump squat style, via analysis of leg muscleexplosive power of determination have contributed 10.24% and 89 , 76% was contributed byother factors.
