Employee performance is an important factor for company’s sustainability.The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of career development and work motivation on employee performance and the influence of career development on employee performance through mediating work motivation. The population and sample in this study are all employees of PT. Kanmo Group in the Havaianas brand of 64 people. Data were analyzed using path analysis techniques. The results of data analysis show that career development and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, career development has a positive effect on work motivation, and work motivation can mediate the influence of career development on employee performance. Employee performance can be improved by maintaining or enhancing career development and employee motivation. Keywords: career development, work motivation, employee performance

This research was conducted at PT Sejahtera Indobali Trada Tabanan Branch. The number of samples taken is 54 employees, with the method used is a saturated sample. Data collection was obtained from the results of interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used the classic assumption test, path analysis (path analysis), sobel test and VAF test. The results of the study are career development has a positive and significant effect on employee motivation. Career development has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect in mediating the relationship between career development and employee performance. This study aims to determine and analyze the Leadership Style, Career Development, and Job Satisfaction simultaneously and significantly to Employee Performance. This research is qualitative research. The population and sample based on the distribution of questionnaires to employees of the Surabaya Tropical Disease Institute were taken as many as 59 respondents. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and questionnaires. Analysis of the data used is the reliability test, validity test, classic assumption test, and multiple linear analysis test. The results of the study simultaneously and partially Leadership Style, Career Development, and Job Satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The F test result is 16.703 greater than the 2.00 table simultaneously. Partially the Leadership Style obtained a significant value of 0,000 (less than 0.05) significant effect on employee performance, Career Development obtained a significant value of 0.025 (less than 0.05) significant effect on employee performance, and Job Satisfaction obtained significant value of 0.049 (less than 0.05) has a significant effect on employee performance.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study to obtain empirical evidence and to find clarity of phenomena and conclusions about the influence of career development and job motivation to job satisfaction and its impact to the performance of employee at Badan Pendapatan Daerah (Bapenda) Kabupaten Karawang. This research is expected to contribute to the development of management science especially as a contribution of scientific literature in human resources management, as reference material in scientific writing, as information material, both for leaders and colleagues in Badan Pendapatan Daerah Kabupaten Karawang in the implementation of performance-based management, As a material consideration and input in making decisions and determine the direction of policy. The research is done by using quantitative method with descriptive and verification method, that is collecting, presenting, analyzing and doing hypothesis testing, and making conclusion and suggestion. Based on the results of the research analysis, the following conclusions are obtained: the correlation of career development with work motivation has significant correlation, the influence of career development that directly affects employee job satisfaction, the influence of work motivation that directly affects employee job satisfaction, the influence of career development that directly affect the performance of employees, the influence of work motivation that directly affect the employee performance, the influence employee job satisfaction on employee performance, simultaneously career development and work motivation significantly influence employee job satisfaction, simultaneously career development and work motivation significantly influence job satisfaction which impact on employee performance improvement. The purpose of this research was to examine the role of mediation work motivation on the effect on performance of employee career development. This research was conducted at the Fairmont Hotel Sanur Beach with samples as many as 72 people are determined by the method of proportionate stratified random sampling. The collection of data obtained from the results of the dissemination of the questionnaire by using as many as 13 indicators. As for the data analysis technique used in this study i.e. path analysis (path analysis) accompanied by sobel test. The results showed that the career development positive and significant effect on performance and motivation of the employees work. Motivation work positive and significant effect on performance as well as employees are able to mediate the influence of career development employee performance against. The results suggested that the better career development in the enterprise the higher the employee motivation, and higher employee motivation will be higher performance Fairmont Hotel Sanur Beach. Performance is the result of quality and quantity of work that can be achieved by an employee in carrying out tasks in accordance with the responsibilities given to the employee. Discipline is the most important operative function of human resource management because the better employee discipline is, the higher work performance can be achieved. Employees' career development is based on their own desires and efforts to train and develop themselves in relation to their work or position. The research aims to analyze the effect of work development, work discipline, job satisfaction and employee performance. The research respondents were employees of PT. XYZ, with a total of 150 respondents. The research method is path analysis and data collection through questionnaires. The results showed that career development on job satisfaction was significant, the effect of work discipline on job satisfaction was not significant. Career development on employee performance is significant and work discipline on employee performance is significant. Suggestions for PT. XYZ who are the object of this study in particular need to supervise the performance discipline of some career development in increasing job satisfaction and employee performance.<br />Keywords: Career Development, Work Discipline, Job Satisfaction and Performance

Job satisfaction is one of the keys to accomplish optimal performance. Therefore, conditioning the organization to create job satisfaction is very important. This study aims to prove that the optimization of employee performance can be achieved especially if the job satisfaction has been realized, using career development, competence, and compensation as indicators. This research method was descriptive-verification with the collection data using survey that sampling uses saturated sampling and analyzed using the Structural Equation Model. The object research was employees of the Regional Forestry Service work units of Central Sulawesi Province. The results proved that the job satisfaction was a very important factor in mediating (full mediating variables) the variables of career development, competence, and compensation in improving employee performance, which is indicated by a positive and significant effect. Furthermore, it was proven that the biggest contribution affecting employee performance was the variable job satisfaction, with career development contributes to the highest influence on job satisfaction, followed by competence, and compensation.   Keywords: Job satisfaction, career development, competence, compensation, and employee’s performance.

This study aims to determine the influence of the variable influence of career development, work motivation and work competence on employee work productivity at Dazzle company in Yogyakarta. This research method uses descriptive survey methods and explanatory surveys. The sample in this study were 50 respondents who were drawn from employees at the company Dazzle Yogyakarta. The data analysis method used in this study was multiple regression analysis. The result of the research is that there is a positive and significant influence on career development variables, work motivation and work competence on work productivity in the company Dazzle Yogyakarta
