The purpose of this study is to meet the maneuverability requirements of the Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) in different conditions by the effective use of the bow and stern thruster, thus completing the automatic berthing task. Based on the MMG model, the maneuverability mathematical model of the USV with bow and stern thruster was established. And the motion simulation of USV maneuvering was carried out through the numerical simulation calculation. Then the berthing plan was designed basedon the maneuverability analysis of the USV low-speed motion, and the simulation of automatic berthing for USV was carried out. The research results of this paper can be of certain practical significance for the USV based on the support of the bow and stern thruster in the berthing. At the same time, it also provides a certain theoretical reference for the handling of the USV automatic berthing.

A mathematical model of electrified insulated cable was established to calculate temperature of insulating layer. The insulating layer temperature is determined as a function of the current intensity, time, insulation layer thickness, etc. A widely used polyvinyl chloride (PVC) cable with sectional area of 4 mm2 was selected as example and its insulating layer temperature was simulated using ANSYS. The simulation revealed the evolution of insulating layer temperature with time, and also along radius after a certain time when the cable was applied with 40A and 60A constant current respectively. The analysis method has practical significance to prevent electrical fire and can be applied to analyze spontaneous combustion accident of insulated cable.

Based on linear simplification method, the mathematical model of standard II missile and target is built. The command control equation and guidance law are introduced to compute the trajectory of standard II missile and targets. The interception of low flying target with standard II missile is modeled and simulated with computer program. It studied different situations that the velocity and height of target varies. The numerical simulation result is proposed and analyzed, which is meaningful for the research of anti-missile defense.

It researched a new type of intelligent thermostatic mixing valve which could keep the temperature and flux of the valve outlet water constant through the adaptive controller. It firstly established the mathematical model about angle - flux and angle - temperature of the valve. And then it based on thekεturbulence model and applied Fluent software to numerical simulation of the valve about the flow field. Finally, it compared the simulation results with the calculated value. The results show that they are basically consistent, prove the correctness of the theoretical research, and can be used to improve designing of the thermostatic valve.

According to the characteristics of inspection and search submarines, combining anti-submarine patrol aircraft method of searching with magnetic finder, this paper first established submarine motor model, and on this basis, respectively, set up a single and double machine mathematical model using magnetic finder inspection and search. Through simulation calculation, the influence of the range change of search area and magnetic detection finder on search probability was analyzed, and the effective suggestions for magnetic finder optimization are put forward.

The European laws and recently the Romanian ones impose more and more strict norms to the large nitrogen dioxide polluters. They are obligated to continuously improve the installations and products so that they limit and reduce the nitrogen dioxide pollution, because it has negative effects on the human health and environment. In this paper are presented these researches made within a case study for the Timioara municipality, regarding the modeling and simulation of the nitrogen dioxide dispersion phenomenon coming from various sources in atmosphere with the help of analytical-experimental methods. The mathematical model resulting from these researches is accurately enough to describe the real situation. This was confirmed by comparing the results obtained based on the model with real experimental values.

The traditional engineering graphics model room could not be effective use by space, time and other factors of limitation. In view of the above questions, network engineering graphics model room was built with VRML software as a platform. This technology made use of PRO/E, Dreamweaver, Java software in order to transmission stability, the three dimensional visualization and strong interactivity and functional requirements. It has the important practical significance in remote education and teaching.

The paper presents a method to build MMG model of ship motion for a oil supply vessel (OSV) with dynamic positioning system. It is assumed that the ship motion exposed to environment disturbances like wind, wave & currents, The simulation results show that the model of the vessel and environment disturbances are suitable, and the method is practicable .
