During the 1990s, with the rapid development of science and technology, the human production and working mode or life-style have the huge transformation. In the sports field, researchers and teachers have the aid of modern science and technology resources to improve various teaching methods , which do help to master the technical action and improve the sports level. In the practical application, these teaching methods is more effectual than conventional method in sports skill learning. Use exploratory study method to develop a suitable and low-price underwater video acquisition system for daily swimming teaching, which is also easy to be operated. The system is with the aid of underwater surveillance cameras to realize the technology of underwater swimming action film and real-time looked, and through the acquisition card timely playback and slow play function to intuitive realistically restore underwater technical movement dynamic change process. This research use the teaching experimental method, mathematical statistics and comparative analysis and so on, the students make two sets of different teaching contrast experiments, verify the effect of the underwater video acquisition system. Underwater video acquisition system in swimming teaching application, change the teacher explain demonstration and strengthen the students single teaching mode, formed by means of image data timely feedback video feedback teaching method.

In order to improve the quality of experimental teaching of civil engineering, this paper analyses the unfavorable influence of backward experimental means on that, then puts forward the corresponding solution of applying electro-hydraulic servo technology to experimental teaching. Combined with the characteristic of electro-hydraulic servo technology, the necessity and feasibility of it is demonstrated. In the end, practical application of the technology of Huaqiao University validates the effectiveness of the proposed method.

<p>With the teaching reform gradually deepening, the examination reform system has progressed as well. Implementing the model of separation of teaching and test based on the construction of the test database enables teachers to focus more on teaching research activities, and innovate and reform in teaching methods. The construction of the test questions database can make the test questions more rational and standardized, and enable the students to pay more attention to the learning process, so as to improve the quality of education in ethnic universities.</p>

Objective: To determine preferences of medical students for modes of teaching, qualities of a good teacher and assessmenttechniques in medical education. Design: A descriptive cross-sectional study. Setting: Lahore Medical and Dental College, Lahore. Period:January 2011. Material & Methods: All students of third and fourth year MBBS classes were included in the study (n=127). A pre-testedquestionnaire was used for data collection. A 7-point Likert scale ranging from 1(strongly disagree) to 7(strongly agree) was used to determinestudent’s preferences of teaching styles. The data was recorded using SPSS version 16.0. Descriptive statistics were computed. Results: Thepreferred teaching methods for basic science subjects were skills laboratory 88(70%), followed by problem based learning 70(55%) andinteractive lectures 65(51%). The same teaching methods i.e. skills laboratory 101(80%), problem based learning 89(70%) and interactivelectures 79(62%) were also popular for the teaching of clinical science subjects. The least preferred teaching method for both basic 51(40%)and clinical 58(46%) sciences was didactic lectures. The desirable quality of a good teacher was reported as teaching skills 111(87%) and thepreferred assessment technique was found to be multiple choice questions 90(71%). Conclusions: Students prefer the student centredteaching styles as opposed to the traditional approach. Good teaching skill is the most desirable quality of a teacher and most students like to beassessed by multiple choice questions.

Well-structured business studies textbook provides enjoyable episodes of knowledge creation which promotes achievement learning outcome for sustained academic results. Business textbook represents potentially implemented curriculum as its vehicle through which intended curriculum is availed to learner encouraging achievement of learning objectives. However, adopting methodology that does not facilitate achievement of specific objectives may limit knowledge construction degrading learner’s mean score. The study adopted is exploratory research design. Data collected were both quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative data were analyzed through counts, percentages, means, standard deviations and Chi square tests while Qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis. Cross tabulation results further indicated that teaching methods significantly influence quality of textbook implying that appropriate teaching methods supports achievement of learning. It was also found that presentation, visuals and differentiated instruction influence quality of instruction content encouraging learning. Therefore, it is recommended that teaching method selected should be learner centered to accelerate learning.

There are certain disadvantages in the traditional physical education teaching model. In order to improve the advanced nature of physical education teaching methods, this paper builds a physical education evaluation system based on artificial intelligence fuzzy algorithm. The system uses fuzzy control instructions as the basis to combine human language and mechanical language, so that the machine can recognize human working language habits and execute commands according to the instructions. Moreover, in this study, the trapezoid function is selected as the membership function, and the improved particle optimization algorithm is used to capture the student’s motion process and the motion vector decomposition, and the system structure model is constructed based on the functional requirements analysis. In addition, this study conducts system performance analysis through experimental teaching methods. The research results show that this system can effectively promote the reform of teaching methods in physical education and has a certain practical effect.

In order to improve the teaching quality and effect of engineering geophysical exploration, the teaching method of engineering geophysical exploration was reformed and modern teaching methods, such as Video, Graph, Flash, Universal Soft and Internet, were used in the teaching process of engineering geophysical exploration. The teaching practice shows that the modern teaching methods can complement each others and extend the teaching methods of engineering geophysical exploration. The teaching content can keep in step with development of modern science and technology. The teaching effect of engineering geophysical exploration was greatly improved by integrative application of modern teaching methods.
