One of the main objectives of learning English in the current era of globalization is ability in English conversation. However, English conversation skills are still considered as one of the difficult skills for santri in the Pesatren of Nurul Huda 2 Tanah Merah. Many santri face some difficulties when they want to communicate in English, even though they have learned English for many years. As a solution to motivate students to learn and communicate in English, that is by providing attractive teaching media through effective learning methods. In this service the method used is using VAK (Visualization, Auditory, and Kinestetic) media. One of the results and benefits of this service activity is to provide knowledge about the media and English conversation learning methods to increase students' interest in learning and communicating in English every day.

The purpose of carrying out this community service activity is to increase the knowledge and understanding of kindergarten teachers about the application of Contextual Teaching Learning learning methods in increasing student learning motivation. The method used in this service is to provide counseling in the form of training for kindergarten teachers and provide assistance for six months. The participants in this community service activity were 6 teachers at Darul Muhsinin Kindergarten, Enjak Hamlet, Labulia Village, West Lombok Regency. The results of this community service indicate an increase in the skills of kindergarten teachers in designing and implementing effective learning methods for students that can increase student learning motivation.

This Community Service aims to provide assistance in learning English about pronunciation of vocabulary using Audio Visual and providing knowledge about the use of Audio Visual media for teachers and learning for students. The chosen partners in this service are children an  teachers of Raudhatul Atfal (RA) Dharma Wanita eersatuan Simpang, Buay Pemaca, OKU Selatan, with the consideration that they rarely learn English because there is no English teacher in the RA in using learning methods. In addition, based on observations in the RA, it shows that children's lack of interest in learning English and even English for them is too ordinary / foreign. The target in this service is to help the children of RA Dharma Wanita Persatuan Simpang to learn English so that they do not feel unfamiliar / unfamiliar and increase student motivation in learning English and minimize errors in speaking vocabulary in English. From the results of this service activity, it can be concluded that learning English by utilizing audio-visual media in students of RA Dharma Wanita Persatuan Simpang is proven to contribute significantly to the mastery of the English vocabulary of students.

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membantu menyelesaikan beberapa permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah (MDTA) “NURHAFA” Bandung. Permasalahan yang dihadapi diantaranya berkaitan dengan sistem pembukuan, metode pemasaran dan pembelajaran. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan-permasalahan tersebut diawali dengan tahap penelusuran masalah dan kebutuhan, perancangan solusi serta implementasi. Penelusuran masalah dilakukan melalui metode survei dan wawancara di lokasi madrasah. Selanjutnya, tim menentukan solusi dan hal-hal yang dibutuhkan oleh MDTA Nurhafa. Pada tahap implementasi, tim memutuskan untuk menyumbangkan peralatan, rancangan sistem akuntansi, teknik pemasaran serta metode pembelajaran yang efektif sesuai kebutuhan MDTA Nurhafa. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat membantu madrasah dalam meningkatkan sistem pembukuan, memperluas jaringan pemasaran serta memperbaiki metode pembelajaran demi tercapainya tujuan madrasah.Kata Kunci : madrasah; pemasaran; pembelajaran; pembukuan Simple Bookkeeping System Training, as well as the Development of Effective Marketing and Learning Methods at MDTA Nurhafa BandungABSTRACTThis service activity aims to help solve some of the problems faced by Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah (MDTA) "NURHAFA" Bandung. The implementation method used in solving these problems begins with the stages of tracing problems and needs, designing solutions and implementing them. Troubleshooting was carried out through survey and interview methods at the madrasah location. Next, the team determined the solutions and things needed by MDTA Nurhafa. At the implementation stage, the team decided to donate equipment, design accounting systems, marketing techniques and effective learning methods according to MDTA Nurhafa's needs. This activity is expected to assist madrasah in improving the bookkeeping system, expanding marketing networks and improving learning methods in order to achieve madrasah goals.Keywords: madrasah; marketing; learning; bookkeeping

The service program was held at MIM Paremono based on several identification problems such as teachers not using learning media in learning processes, lack of understanding about making learning media effective and efficient, and not caring characters environment in students. This service activity has several objectives, namely 1) Increasing the creativity of teachers and students in developing learning media, 2) Applying to students the character of environmental care. The specific target to be achieved through this service is 1) Train the creativity of teachers and students, 2) Cultivate the character of caring for the environment, and 3) Students can treat plants through the media of horta dolls. To achieve these objectives, carried out using the action research method. Stages of activities begin with preparations including permit activities, preparing technology and arranging schedules; implementation includes socialization, practice, and assistance; and preparation of reports. The results of this service are the character of environmental care in students began to appear, and produce effective learning media in the form of horta dolls in thematic learning the theme of caring for sub-theme animals and plants caring for plants.Keywords: horta doll media, care for the environment

Basic education is undertaken when students are in a period of great potential to be influenced, both positively and negatively. the situation that occurred in SD Negeri Karet Kuningan 01 Pagi, students still have difficulty understanding abstract mathematics material, the lack of teacher knowledge about effective learning methods causes less innovative learning. This phenomenon shows that the teacher's need for a good understanding of mathematics learning methods is an absolute must. The problem that occurred at SD Negeri Karet Kuningan 01 Pagi is the background for the service being carried out. This activity aims to provide knowledge and determine appropriate learning methods for learning mathematics in elementary schools. This PKM is carried out in the form of training, the presentation material in this service activity, namely: (1) Concept of learning methods in accordance with the characteristics of Mathematics subjects (2) Preparation of lesson plans (RPP) with appropriate learning methods (3) Simulation of implementing methods cooperative learning in learning, and (4) assessment of learning using learning methods. Conclusion of this service. Participants are able to carry out learning using the mathematics learning method, the enthusiasm of the participants is high in participating in this training because the material offered is very suitable for their needs as elementary school teachers. Appropriate learning methods can improve the quality of learning, as well as stimulate the ability to work together and a sense of responsibility for elementary students.

Machine Learning field, methods based on Deep Learning (e.g. CNN, RNN) becomes the state-of-the-art in several problems of the multimedia domain, especially in audio-visual tasks. Typically, the training of Deep Learning Methods is done in a supervised manner, and it is trained on datasets containing thousands/millions of media examples and several related concepts/classes. During training, the Deep Learning Methods learn a hierarchy of filters that are applied to input data to classify/recognize the media content. In computer vision scenario, for example, given image pixels, the series of layers of the network can learn to extract visual features from it, the shallow layers can extract lower-level features (e.g. edges, corner, contours), while the deeper combine these features to produce higher-level features (e.g. textures, part of objects). These representative features can be clustered into groups, each one representing a specific concept. H.761 NCL currently lacks support for Deep Learning Methods inside their application specification. Because those languages still focus on presentations tasks such as capture, streaming, and presentation. They do not consider programmers to describe the semantic understanding of the used media and handle recognition of such under-standing. In this proposal, we aim at extending NCL to provide such support. More precisely, our proposal able NCL application support: (1) describe learning-based on structured multimedia datasets; (2) recognize content semantics of the media elements in presentation time. To achieve such goals, we propose, an extension that includes: (a) the new "knowledge" element describe concepts based on multimedia datasets; (b) "area" anchor with an associated "recognition" event that describes when a concept occurrences in multimedia content.

Mathematics is an important and complex subject, and research in the field of neuroscience shows that 50% of people have a fear of mathematics. However, it is a subject that students will need for the rest of their lives. Educators recognize that every student needs an individual approach, but the teaching methods are still the same for the whole class. The poor results in mathematics also suggest that students' perceptions and interests have changed, and that old teaching methods are no longer as effective as before and that new solutions need to be invented. The aim of the research is to identify important factors that are necessary for more effective learning of mathematics in general education schools. Qualitative research methods were used for the research strategy - in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, surveys of pupils and students, information analysis in the media, pedagogical and business experience, as well as world success stories. As a result of the research, the following have been identified: 1) problems that were identified using the distance learning during the Covid19 pandemic; 2) students' wishes that arouse interest in mathematics; 3) the interests of students, which indicate the need for interdisciplinary approaches; 4) advantages of artificial intelligence (AI) in education. The study points to the necessity for collaboration between educators, industry professionals, entrepreneurs and researchers, and for AI solutions to create deeper, faster and more personalized learning of mathematics in general education schools in the future, increasing the growth of every student.

Abstrak. Matakuliah Keanekaragaman Tumbuhan (KT) memainkan peran penting untuk membekali mahasiswa mempelajari prinsip taksonomi. Taksonomi merupakan salah satu upaya konservasi. Di saat era disrupsi seperti saat ini, konservasi merupakan masalah global yang mendesak. Namun, banyak penelitian yang melaporkan bahwa matakuliah KT sulit untuk dipelajari, sehingga mahasiswa menjadi tidak tertarik untuk belajar. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengeksplorasi minat melalui persepsi mahasiswa calon guru biologi tentang tantangan yang terjadi selama perkuliahan KT berlangsung, serta solusi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengembangakan matakuliah KT. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa reflective essay yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik. Hasil eksplorasi persepsi mahasiswa calon guru biologi berupa tantangan dan peluang selama mengikuti perkuliahan KT. Tantangan yang dialami terangkum dalam empat tema: kesulitan pemahaman materi; keterbatasan media pembelajaran; metode pembelajaran kurang efektif; serta kesulitan management waktu. Peluang untuk mengembangkan matakuliah KT terangkum dalam empat tema besar: penguatan materi; optimalisasi media pembelajaran; optimalisasi metode pembelajaran; dan optimalisasi kegiatan praktikum.Abstract. Plant Diversity course (in Bahasa Keanekagaraman Tumbuhan) plays an essential role in facilitating students to learn taxonomic principles. Taxonomy is one of the conservation efforts. In this disruptive era, conservation is an urgent global problem. However, many studies have reported that this course is difficult to study, so that students are not interested in studying. This study is aimed at exploring interest through the perceptions of prospective biology teacher students about the challenges that emerge during KT course, as well as solutions that can be used to improve KT course. The research method used is qualitative research methods. The data collection technique was a reflective essay which  then was analyzed using thematic analysis. The results of an exploration of the perceptions of biology teacher candidate students in confronting challenges and opportunities during KT course. The challenges experienced are summarized in four themes: difficulties in understanding the material; limited learning media; less effective learning methods; as well as time management difficulties. Meanwhile, the opportunities to develop KT course are also summarized in four major themes: strengthening material; optimization of learning media; optimization of learning methods; and optimization of practicum activities.

The present study was conducted which aims at developing teaching methods of Indonesian as a foreign language. This study was carried out for two years in the form of Research and Development design to develop accuracy of teaching methods to be employed to teach the Indonesian language. The study was conducted as an important and crucial issue encountered by prospective teachers of Indonesian as a foreign language to face global challenges in which teachers of Indonesian are urgently required to teach effectively. In addition, this study was conducted to prepare the Indonesian teachers to be professional teachers and ready to face the competitive world of work. In the first year, the research was focused on creating a draft of effective learning methods to teach Indonesian as a foreign language. Consequently, this study was started by analyzing the teaching methods that have been used by various language learning institutions. The second year, the study is mainly focused on trying out and validated the learning methods to ensure their effectiveness to teach Indonesian as a foreign language.

This research aims at designing a learning media which named LEEF (Learning English Easy and Fun) as English learning media for seventh grade students of Junior High School. This learning media consists of some materials and exercises which is appropriate and feasible to be studied for students. All materials in this media are based on junior high school syllabus of K13 curriculum. The research method used in this research is Research and Development. This development used ADDIE model which have several steps, those are; 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. The result of this research shows that from the media validation result got 4.00 score it was in “fair and worth to use” category, and the material validation got 3.86 score. The students’ responses of try out result score 4.26 were in “fair and worth to use” category. By having those result, this LEEF (Learning English Easy and Fun) is feasible to be used as a learning media for seventh grade students of junior high school. Furthermore this research can be used as reference to other researchers in developing English learning media in different level of students.
