The progress of the Islamic bank cannot be separated from the role of its customers who give trust to the bank to deposit their financial assets. It is a fact many groups of customers decide to be the customers of the Islamic bank because of their religiosity. The other influences factor of a customer’s decision is the quality of the product. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of product quality and level of customers’ religiosity towards customers’ decision whether to keep their funds in Syariah Mandiri Bank, Branch of Purwokerto, or not. The analytical tool used was multiple linear regression analysis, with a sample of 100 customers. The results indicate Y = 5,046 + 0,101X1 + 0,218X2. Based on F, it can be seen that both variables of product quality and religiosity simultanously affect the customers’ decision to keep theirfunds in BSM Branch of Purwokerto. Based on t test, it can be seen that independently, either variable of product quality or variables of religiosityinfluences the customers’ decision to keep their funds in BSM Branch of Purwokerto.

Islamic banking has an important role in the economy, especially in moving the real sector. Islamic banking provides funding to the public in the form of financing. The financing provided cannot be separated from various risks that can threaten the health of the bank, one of which is financing risk. For that, the purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of financing on financing risk in Islamic banks for the period 2015 to 2020. The method used in this study is quantitative with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. This study uses time-series data and the variables in this study are mudharabah, musyarakah, murabahah, ijarah financing, and total assets as independent variables and NPF as a dependent variable. The results of the study concluded that total assets had a negative and significant effect on NPF and murabahah financing had a positive and significant effect on NPF. This research was conducted to determine the effect of mudharabah and musharakah financing on net profit of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. This study uses the annual financial statements of Islamic commercial banks obtained from the Financial Services Authority and annual reports on the website of Islamic commercial banks for the period 2010-2019. The test results found that mudharabah financing had a significant effect on the net profit of Islamic banks, this also strengthened Islamic social responsibility of Islamic commercial banks. But unlike mudharabah financing, musharakah financing actually has a negative effect on the net profit of Islamic commercial banks, which means that the higher the Islamic bank distributes musharakah financing, the rate of profit will decrease which results in the weakening of Islamic social responsibility disclosure. It is recommended that Islamic banks exercise greater caution when selecting consumers for mudharabah financing, as this type of financing carries a higher risk but also a higher profit share if the financing is successful. This research has a limitation in that it focuses exclusively on Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia, although additional research might be conducted by sampling Sharia Business Unit and Sharia Rural Bank.

The growth of Islamic finance industries in Indonesia has shown significant improvement. The increased number of surplus units depositing their funds in Islamic banks has become a significant factor in their trust and confidence in Islamic banking products. One of the products utilized by the depositor is the mudharabah deposit product, where the Islamic bank offers higher profit compared to other types of deposit or saving. This paper aims to analyze the issues in a mudharabah term deposit in the Islamic banking industry in Indonesian Islamic banks. The issues concern more on the profit and risk in the mudharabah concept that has been applied in Islamic banks and the variables that affect the changes in mudharabah deposit product. We used the sample to analyze the issues by selecting 14 Islamic banks in Indonesia from 2011-2020.  This research uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis methods. Several variables are considered the independent variables to know the changes in the demand of mudharabah deposits in the Islamic bank, including interest rate, profit rate, number of office or branch units, and non-performing financing. Our analysis shows that the number of offices or branch units and non-performing financing positively impact the changes in demand of mudharabah deposits, while the interest rate and profit rate have a negative impact on mudharabah deposits.

This paper analyzes the effect of profitability and size of Indonesian Islamic banks on the level of Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) disclosure. This study also investigates the role played by the Sharia Supervisory Board (SSB) in the effect of profitability and size of an Islamic bank on ISR disclosure. The presence of SSB is very important in the operations of Islamic banks. SSB should be involved in important company decisions, including the ISR disclosure. The study covers all 14 Indonesian Islamic commercial banks as a population; the analysis will be conducted based on annual reports of the banks’ divisions for the period 2014–2018. A documentation technique was used to collect the data. Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) was used for data analysis. The results show that the adjusted R-squared coefficient of the equation is 0.341. R-squared contributions of ROA, ROE, size, and SSB are –0.093, 0.010, 0.983, and –0.081. Other results show that profitability (ROA) and size (total assets) significantly affect the level of ISR disclosure among Indonesian Islamic banks. However, the results were indifferent regarding the role of SSB. There is no significant effect of SSB on ISR disclosure. SSB was important for moderating the relationship between profitability (ROA and ROE) and bank size and ISR disclosure level. SSB’s involvement in the decision making of Islamic banks will have a positive effect on the activities of Islamic banks. Islamic banks will tend to have a high level of ISR. Further researchers can develop SSB measurements for more accurate results.
