<div class="WordSection1"><em>The purpose of this study is to further examine the perceptions of Muslim entrepreneurs in Riau towards the merger of a Islamic Commercial Banking to become an Indonesian Islamic bank. The method used is a qualitative method generated from a questionnaire filled out by Muslim entrepreneurs in Riau Province, explaining the perception of Riau Muslims about the merger of Islamic banks under BUMN. The results of this study indicate that the perceptions of Muslim entrepreneurs in Riau towards the joining of Islamic banks as BUMN, in this case Bank Syariah Mandiri, BNI Syariah and BRI syariah to become Bank Syariah Indonesia which is abbreviated as BSI in general have different perceptions, there are still many who disagree. by joining the Islamic Bank under the BUMN. Entrepreneurs are also not too sure about the joining of the Islamic Bank to become the icon and direction of the World Islamic Bank, they think that the joining of the Bank is influenced by political elements among the political elite. However, Muslim entrepreneurs in Riau on average will still become customers of Indonesian Islamic Bank, because apart from being a Islamic bank, there is no better choice than other banks.</em><br /><strong> </strong><br />Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji lebih jauh persepsi pengusaha muslim Riau terhadap penggabungan Bank Syariah BUMN menjadi bank syariah Indonesia. Metode  yang digunakan adalah kualitatif yang dihasilkan dari kuisioner yang diisi oleh para pengusaha muslim yang ada di Provinsi Riau, menjelaskan mengenai persepsi muslim riau terhadap mergernya bank syariah di bawah BUMN. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa persepsi pengusaha muslim riau terhadap bergabungnya bank syariah di bawah BUMN dalam hal ini Bank Syariah Mandiri, BNI Syariah dan BRI syariah menjadi Bank Syariah Indonesia yang disingkat menjadi BSI secara umum memiliki persepsi yang berbeda-beda, masih banyak yang tidak setuju dengan begabungnya Bank Syariah BUMN tersebut. Pengusaha juga tidak terlalu yakin dengan bergabungnya Bank Syariah tersebut menjadi icon dan kiblat Bank Syariah dunia, mereka menganggap bergabungnya Bank banyak dipengaruhi oleh unsur politis dikalangan elit politik. Namun pengusaha muslim Riau rata-rata tetap akan menjadi Nasabah Bank Syariah Indonesia, karena selain merupakan bank syariah, dan tidak ada pilihan lain yang lebih baik dari bank lain.<br /><strong> </strong><br />Kata Kunci: Persepsi, Pengusaha Muslim, Merger, Bank Syariah.</div><p align="center"><strong><br clear="all" /></strong></p>

Women, the 48.45% of total Afghan population usually termed and referred as the most victimized clan of Afghanistan. It is engendered notion and perceived as reality around the world. Undoubtedly, Mujahidin and later the Taliban have made the situation miserable for women. But, comparatively, women in Afghanistan did not face as many cruelties earlier during Taliban regime as they suffering today. They were secured, honored and allowed to participate equally in all spheres of life ranging from socio-economic to religio-political during the reign of Taliban. Majority of the religious elite among the Muslims interprets the religious teachings according to its own requirements to assure legitimacy particularly in the context of women. Same is the case with Afghanistan, which, being the buffer state, had been remained epicenter for political interests of world powers and who used its soil to expand or legitimize their authority, violate human rights specifically women as wartime strategy to achieve the goals. This intricate study with reference to the manipulated status of women is based on qualitative method and will explore the political dimensions where women have been used as wartime strategy to legitimize the power. It is based on explanatory and exploratory goals of the study. The thematic and observational approach will be used to analyze the available qualitative data by using secondary sources.

Indonesia has the largest Muslim population in the world. With this amount, of course, it should be a capital for economic strength. However, as of November 2020, data released by the Financial Services Authority put the Islamic banking market share at 6.33%. Efforts to merge the three state-owned Sharia banks into Indonesian Sharia Banks are expected to increase the penetration of the sharia economy in Indonesia, which is still far behind when compared to conventional domestic economic movements and Islamic financial transactions in other countries. This research will describe the extent of the sharia economic conditions in Indonesia after the merger of state-owned sharia banks into BSI. This study uses a qualitative method with a type of literature review research which is obtained from various authentic sources such as books, articles, journals and trusted websites. There was a 2.7% increase in the market share of Islamic banks after the merger. This increase when compared to the existing potential and the market is still very small. However, it is hoped that this impact will continue to increase over time, especially as capital support for various financial sectors and the halal industry in the country.

<p align="center">Perception is the process of one's interpretation of the environment, in this case the perception of Islamic banking. The purpose of this study was to determine how perceptions of UMN economics lecturers on Islamic banking. The method used is a qualitative method. The data used are primary data in the form of a questionnaire. The results of the study provide data that 70% of informants agree with the principles of Islamic banks, that is monotheism. 40% of informants stated neutral and 33% agreed to Islamic bank operations and 44% stated neutral and 40% agreed to the objectives of Islamic banks.</p>

The legislative function of the DPRD has not run smoothly, in some areas it is still experiencing various difficulties. Many Local Regulation Draft Initiatives (Raperda) come from the Regional Government as an executive agency. Meanwhile, the institution that enforces the aspirations of the community, the DPRD provides a lot of participation in the determination of the Perda. The purpose of the research is to study the implementation of the legislative function of the DPRD in Bogor City in 2013-2018. This research uses a qualitative method with literature approach. Data sources used in this study consisted of primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials, policy considerations of the political elite in this case the Bogor City Council, books, journal of legal. The results of the research are the legislative function carried out by the Bogor City DPRD in accordance with Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government, which wrongly performs the legislative function that can capture the aspirations of the people in Bogor City, by receiving reports or complaints from the people of Bogor City the problem of dissatisfaction of a service. Although in its implementation is still not optimal because there are still obstacles in legislation.

Abstract. This study examines the origin,  existence, and development of Islamism group in Indonesia since pre-independence until now. Islamism is a group of Muslims who are obedient to the teachings of Islam, but they are very extreme, literal,  static and rigid in understanding the teachings of Islam (Alquran), and reject to the other Muslims who disagree with Islamic ideology that they have embraced. The group of Islamism existed and emerged in Indonesia, it was not apart from the influence of the spread of Islamic teachings from al-Ikhwan al-Muslimun that was founded by Hasan al-Banna in Egypt in 1928. The group of Islamism was the first Muslim group before the other Muslim groups in Indonesia; such as the Pos-Islamism group, the Liberal Islam Group, the Moderate Islamic Group, the Progressive Islam Group. The group of Islamism in Indonesia—as al-Ikhwan al-Muslimun in Egypt who aspires to spread the ideology of Islam for all of the world—seeks  to spread  their ideology with the movement of "creeping up" for all of the area in Indonesian, since before independence until now. Islamist groups succeeded in spreading Islam and Sharia through mosques, schools, ta'lim majlis. The existence and development of Islamist groups in Indonesia today are flattered. They have very much support from the political elite. However, they are not aware that their hands are being borrowed or exploited by political elites to seize or get the  power in irrational ways. Keywords: Islamism, Emergence, Existence, Development, Indonesia. Abstrak. Studi ini membahas tentang asal usul, eksistensi dan perkembangan kelompok Islamisme di Indonesia sejak pra-kemerdekaan sampai sekarang. Kelompok Islamisme adalah kumpulan Muslim yang patuh terhadap ajaran Islam, namun mereka sangat ekstrem, literal, statis dan kaku dalam memahami ajaran Islam (Alquran), serta menolak golongan Muslim lain yang berbeda dengan faham Islam yang sudah mereka anut. Kelompok Islamisme ada dan muncul di Indonesia tidak terlepas dari pengaruh penyebaran ajaran Islam ala  al-Ikhwan al-Muslimun yang didirikan oleh Hasan al-Banna di Mesir pada tahun 1928. Kelompok Islamisme merupakan kelompok Muslim yang pertama ada sebelum adanya kelompok-kelompok Muslim lain di Indonesia; seperti kelompok Pos-Islamisme, Kelompok Islam Liberal, Kelompok Islam Moderat, Kelompok Islam Progresif. Kelompok Islamisme di Indonesia –sebagaimana al-Ikhwan al-Muslimun di Mesir yang bercita-cita menyebarkan faham berislam ke seluruh dunia—berupaya menyebarkan paham Islamisme dengan gerakan “merayap” ke seluruh bumi Indonesia sejak sebelum Indonesia merdeka sampai sekarang. Kelompok Islamisme berhasil menyebarkan faham Islam dan Syariah melalui, antara lain:  masjid-masjid, sekolah-sekolah, majelis-majelis taklim. Eksistensi dan perkembangan kelompok-kelompok Islamisme di Indonesia zaman ini sedang merasa tersanjung, karena banyak mendapat dukungan dari para elit politik. Namun sebaliknya, mereka tidak sadar bahwa tangan-tangan mereka sedang dipinjam atau pun dimanfaatkan oleh para elit politik untuk merebut atau pun mendapatkan sebuah kekuasaan dengan cara-cara yang tidak rasional. Kata Kunci: Islamisme, Eksistensi, Kemunculan,  Perkembangan, Indonesia.

Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world. However, since the Islamic banks were being established in Indonesia for about 20 years, their market share only accounts for about 5% in the Indonesian banking system. Muslim participations in using Islamic bank are relatively low. This study expands the Theory of Planned Behavior by adding the variables of religiosity and self-efficacy. Previous studies have not examined this new expanded model to analyze customers who participated in using the saving Islamic bank’s products and services. Based on 220 Islamic bank consumers who participated in the study, the study indicated that questionnaires about religiosity and self-efficacy had good external validity and could be adapted for the Indonesian culture context. The most interesting finding was that the religiosity variable strongly enhanced the use of Islamic banks. Similarly, this study found that the self-efficacy variable improved an intention of customers to participate in the Islamic banking system. This paper also discusses the implications of the findings and recommendations for future studies.

Perception is the process of one’s interpretation of the environment, in this case the perception of Islamic banking. The purpose of this study was to determine how the perception of guest lecturers of Islamc Banking Study of Economic and Islamic Business UIN SU towards Islamic Banking. The method used is a qualitative method. The data uses are questionnaire and interview data. The results of study present data that 73,33% agree with the principles of Islamic banking. That is they have a good perception of the principles of Islamic banking, namely; Islamic banks are banks based on monotheism, guided by the Qur'an and hadith. Islamic Banks are banks that are free from usury, maysir and gharar. Sharia Banking in its business activities is based on sharia principles, economic democracy and prudential principles. 43% stated neutral on islamic bank operation. It means that the informants were still hesitant about the operations of islamic banks, because according to them islamic banks were still unable to operate in accordance with islamic principles, did not provide a large profit share to their customers, their products were difficult to access and the amount of administrative costs. 44% of informants agreed with the objectives of islamic banking. That is, informan have a good perception ofthe objectives of islamic banks, namely for the benefit. Islamic banks prioritize justice and togetherness for all their customers, islamic banks also contribute to reducing poverty through financing products. If seen from the aspect of general perception regarding the existance of islamic banks, islamic bank services, convenience and security in transactions, it can be concluded that 70% of informants have a good perception of islamic banks. The decicion of the informant in choosing an islamic bank, amounting to 70%.

With the development of increasingly advanced times, the bank continues to make new innovations so that at this time the bank is no longer just an institution that functions to collect and distribute funds, but at the same time also as an intermediary in the payment traffic. However, the Muslim community strives to realize banking based on sharia principles. For this reason, several Muslim countries have slowly begun to establish Islamic Banks. The development of Islamic banking is quite significant in several countries, but of the many countries, Indonesia actually has a different side. The difference lies in the term used to refer to a non-conventional bank. While other countries commonly refer to it as an Islamic Bank, in Indonesia it is actually called the Sharia Banking because the idea of ​​the Islamic Bank is alleged to have contained political and SARA elements. With high stretches owned by several Muslim countries to establish shari'ah banking, Indonesia as the country with the largest Muslim population in the world established the first sharia banking under the name Bank Muamalat Indonesia (BMI) which was officially operated in 1992. From year to year, Sharia banking growth is very fast. Keywords : Banking, Sharia Banking,Indonesia.   Abstrak Dengan perkembangan zaman yang semakin maju, bank terus melakukan inovasi baru sehingga pada saat ini bank tidak lagi hanya sekedar lembaga yang berfungsi menghimpun dan menyalurkan dana saja, namun sekaligus juga sebagai intermediasi dalam lalu lintas pembayaran. Namun, komunitas Muslim berusaha untuk mewujudkan perbankan berdasarkan prinsip syariah. Atas dasar alasan inilah, beberapa negara muslim perlahan mulai mendirikan Bank Islam. Perkembangan perbankan Islam cukup signifikan terjadi di beberapa negara, tetapi dari sekian banyak negara, Indonesia justru memiliki sisi yang berbeda. Perbedaan tersebut terletak pada istilah yang dipakai untuk menyebut bank yang nonkonvensional.Di saat negara-negara lain lazim menyebutnya sebagai Bank Islam, di Indonesia justrumenyebutnya Bank Syari’ah karena istilah Bank Islam diduga mengandung unsur politik dan SARA.Dengan geliat tinggi yang dimiliki oleh beberapa negara muslim untuk mendirikan perbankan syari’ah, Indonesia sebagai negara dengan populasi muslim terbesar di dunia mendirikan perbankan syariah pertama dengan nama Bank Muamalat Indonesia (BMI) yang secara resmi beroperasi pada tahun 1992.Dari tahun ke tahun, pertumbuhan perbankan syari’ah sangatcepat. This paper examines the causes of Islamic bank deviated from sharia principles. I want to explore why Islamic bank deviates from sharia principles. This study used a qualitative method with in-depth interviews with one of the Islamic banks in Sumenep Indonesia. I divided this study into two steps. First, examine whether Islamic bank deviates from sharia principles. Second, examine what causes Islamic banks to deviate from sharia principles. The results of this study found that the causes of Islamic banks deviated from sharia principles are the existence of competition between Islamic banks and the existence of profit targets that must be achieved. The findings of this study contribute to providing information to the public who criticize Islamic bank so that they understand the difficult conditions of Islamic bank to adhere perfectly to sharia principles so that the public do not always blame Islamic bank for deviations committed and do not condemn it. In turn,  this problem can be found the right solution
