<em>The purpose of this study was to determine the final achievement, improvement of critical thinking skills, and mathematical dispositions through project based learninglearning models. The population in this study were eighth grade students in one of the State Junior High Schools in Serang City 2014/2015 academic year. The sample was chosen by cluster random sampling technique from 8 classes, obtained one experimental class and one control class. The research method used is quasi-experimental method with non-equivalent research design. The number of samples in the experimental class and control class amounted to 30 students. The results showed: Mathematical critical thinking ability of students who obtained a project based learning in the high category. Enhancement students' critical thinking skills who obtain project based learning that are in the medium category. Mathematical disposition of students who obtain a project based learning model that belongs to the medium category. Enhancement mathematical disposition of students who obtain project based learning  in the low category</em>.

The aims of this study is to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills based on the application of CLIS method (Children Learning In Science) LKS assisted on elasticity and Hooke Law in SMA Negeri 1 Jakenan Pati. This research was conducted at SMA N 1 Jakenan Pati dated October 13 until October 24, 2017. This research used Quasi Experimental design in the form of pretest-posttest control group design. Population in this research is all class XI IPA in SMA Negeri 1 Jakenan Pati, while sample of research used consist of two classes taken by cluster random sampling technique so that obtained class XI IPA 8 which amounted to 40 students as experiment class using  CLIS method (Children Learning In Science) assisted by LKS, and XI IPA 7, amounting to 40 students as control class using Direct Instruction learning model. Based on the result of the research obtained the mean of pretest experimental class is 55,2 and control class 49,45, while value of experimental class postest 79,1 and control class 68,7. The hypothesis testing shows that with t test s2 polled variance magnitude thitung = 19.5 and ttabel = 1.66. This indicates thitung > ttabel, so Ho is rejected which means there is increasing in the effectiveness of CLIS learning method (Children Learning In Science) assisted by LKS on students' critical thinking ability.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of natural science modules with discovery learning to enhance students' critical thinking skills in the topic of material classification and its changes. Critical thinking skills are one of the important skills of the 21st century and are needed in various fields. Students with high critical thinking skills in general also have the ability to calculate various possibilities so that they can make decisions by applying logical thinking. Discovery learning trains students to independently build knowledge and develop student competencies. The research method was a quasi-experimental with pretest and posttest control groups design. The sampling technique employed was purposive sampling. The research instrument used a test of critical thinking skills. Data analysis was carried out with a different power test (t-test) to determine the difference between the experimental and control classes, and an N-Gain calculation was done to find out the effectiveness of discovery learning module. The results showed that there was a difference critical thinking skills between the experimental class and the control class. The N-Gain result of the experimental class was 0.59, with a moderate category, and the control class was 0.31, with a moderate category

This study aims to determine the differences in critical thinking skills between students who learn using the problem based learning model and STAD model. This research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental method. The population of this study is the X grade students of SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta in the academic year 2017/2018. Samples were obtained by using cluster random sampling technique consisting of two classes namely X PM 1 class as the experimental class with problem-based learning and X PM 3 class as the control class with STAD learning. The technique of collecting data uses a multiple choice test to determine students' critical thinking skills. Data Analysis is using MANOVA. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant influence between the learning model on critical thinking skills. The application of the problem-based learning model proved to be more able to improve students' critical thinking skills compared to the STAD learning model.

The background of this research is, there is no learning model that can optimally support critical thinking skills, so it takes an innovative learning model. In this case, the researchers used web helped to guide discovery learning model to improve the critical thinking skills of the student in class X SMAN 4 Praya in academic year 2019/2020. This study aimed to find an effect of web assisted guided discovery learning on trigonometry material to critical thinking ability of the student in class X SMAN 4 Praya in academic year 2019/2020. This study use a quantitative research approach to the type of experimental research. In this experiment the researchers used a quasi-experimental, and uses two classes as a research, the experimental class and control class. The population of this research is all the student in class X SMAN 4 Praya and and choose two class as a sample class that is X MIPA 5 as a experimental class and X MIPA 3 as control class. Student in experimental class used web assisted guided discovery learning model and in control class used guided discovery without web assisted. The result of the research showed that the average of critical thinking ability in the experimental class is better than control class which is in the experimental class is in the less effective category and control class in ineffective category.

This quasi-experimental study was to find out: (1) the influence of critical thinking skills of students given the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model with students who were given conventional learning; (2) the influence of critical knowledge with high initial knowledge using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model compared to those using conventional learning; (3) the influence of critical thinking skills with low initial knowledge using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model compared to those using conventional learning; (4) interaction between learning strategies with students' initial knowledge of critical thinking skills. This research is a quasi-experimental type with a research design using factorial 2x2. The population is all SD Kartika 1-11 students and the sample is 50 IVA and IVB students. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. Research data was obtained from tests of initial knowledge and critical thinking skills. The results of the study indicate that: (1) students' critical thinking skills given the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model higher tcount = 1.910> t table = 1.708; (2) Critical thinking skills with high initial knowledge using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) and conventional models have no significant differences thitung = 1.87 <ttable = 2.56; (3) Critical thinking skills with low initial knowledge use the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model higher t count = 3.71> t table = 2.56; (4) there is no interaction between learning models with students' initial knowledge of critical thinking skills. Mathematical Critical thinking is one of  mathematical abilities that must be obtained by students. Critical thinking is one of the high order thinking processes that can make concepts in student knowledge.  Students with critical thinking in mathematics learning mostly do rational activities such as interpreting information based on a particular theoretical framework, linking theory with practice, making claims and justifying it, utilizing data in support of argumentation, making relations or relationships between various ideas, asking questions, evaluating knowledge, predict, describe something, analyze, synthesize, and categorize. This study aims to analyze the effect of the Concept-Based Learning Model on the critical thingking mathematical abilities.The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of Concept-Based Learning Model toward mathematics critical thinking ability. The method used in this research is quasi experiment by Randomize Control Group Post Test Only Design with cluster random sampling technique. Indicators of mathematics critical thinking skills measured in this study include providing simple explanations, building basic skills, concluding, making more explanations, and deciding an action. The results showed that the mathematics critical thinking ability of students in the experimental class for the five indicators that being analyze was higher than the ability of students in the control class. A fairly high difference in the indicator showed in give a simple explanation and concluding. and it means that the application of Concept-Based Learning Model significantly influences the  abilities  of students' mathematics critical thinking.

Conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills are necessary for all students to help them in their learning process. This research aims to determine the effect of Moodle-assisted e-learning on (1) conceptual understanding, (2) critical thinking skills, and (3) conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills combined. This research employed a quasi-experimental design with random cluster sampling was used as the sampling technique. An algebra written test was used to collect research data. Furthermore, the researchers performed the normality test, homogeneity test, and MANOVA analysis to analyze the data. The researchers discovered that Moodle-assisted e-learning influenced students' conceptual understanding, critical thinking skills, and conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills.

This study originated from the lack of utilization of learning media during the learning process. Teaching methods used by teachers are less varied so that learners are only trained in cognitive abilities only while for high-level thinking skills such as critical thinking ability is still low. One alternative that can be done to improve the skills of critical thinking is to utilize the Software Tracker media. This study aims to determine the improvement of critical thinking skills of learners through the use of Software Tracker media on the material impulse and momentum. The research method used is Pre-Experiment with design One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample of this research using Purposive Sampling technique. The research instrument used in this research is the critical thinking skills of the students of impulse material and momentum to measure the critical thinking ability of learners. The data analysis technique uses normality test, and t test to normalized n-gain value from pretest and posttest value of learners using Microsoft Excel. The results showed that the critical thinking skills of learners increased after utilizing the Software Tracker media during learning. The result of this research is proved from the significant value of ttable test of 1.691 while t count is 24.53 which means H0 is rejected and Ha accepted. The results of this study indicate that the use of Software Tracker media on the material impulse and momentum have a positive impact on improving the critical thinking skills of learners.

Abstract:. The basic criteria of integrated teaching are: teaching includes educational goals in which learners actively participate in the learning process, teaching begins with a theme relevant to the learner's life, learners engage in learning and active thinking processes to practice critical thinking skills. Critical thinking skill is an activity of thinking about an idea or idea related to a given concept or a presented problem. Critical thinking is also understood as the activity of analyzing ideas or ideas in a more specific way, distinguishing them sharply, choosing, identifying, studying, and developing them in a more perfect direction. The purpose of this study was to investigate: the influence of reciprocal teaching strategies on the critical thinking skills of learners. This research is a quasi experimental type research. The population is all students in SD Nanggalo Tarusan Pesisir Selatan and the samples are students of VA and VB class as many as 50 people. This sampling technique is porpusive sampling. Data from the research results obtained from critical thinking skills tests. The results showed that the critical thinking skills of learners who were given a reciprocal teaching strategy were higher than conventional learning. Keyword: Reciprocal teaching, Critical Thinking Skill, Thematic Abstrak: Kriteria mendasar tentang pengajaran terintegrasi antara lain; pengajaran meliputi tujuan pendidikan dalam hal peserta didik secara aktif berpartisipasi dalam proses belajar, pengajaran dimulai dari suatu tema yang relevan dengan kehidupan peserta didik, peserta didik terlibat dalam proses belajar dan berpikir aktif untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis. Keterampilan berpikir kritis adalah suatu kegiatan cara berpikir tentang ide atau gagasan yang berhubungan dengan konsep yang diberikan atau masalah yang dipaparkan. Berpikir kritis juga dipahami sebagai kegiatan menganalisis idea atau gagasan ke arah yang lebih spesifik, membedakannya secara tajam, memilih, mengidentifikasi, mengkaji, dan mengembangkannya ke arah yang lebih sempurna. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki: pengaruh strategi reciprocal teaching terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis quasi eksperimen. Populasinya adalah seluruh peserta didik di SD Nanggalo Tarusan Pesisir Selatan dan sampelnya adalah peserta didik kelas VA dan VB sebanyak 50 orang. Teknik pengeambilan sampel ini porpusive sampling. Data dari hasil penelitian diperoleh dari tes keterampilan berpikir kritis. Hasil penelitian menunujukan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik yang diberi strategi reciprocal teaching lebih tinggi dibandingkan pembelajaran konvesional.Kata Kunci: Reciprocal teaching, Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis, Tematik

AbstrakPembelajaran matematika diharapkan dapat mengasah kemampuan berpikir kritis, meskipun pembelajaran secara daring. Penelitian bertujuan menerapkan salah satu model pembelajaran yang menekankan pada aspek berpikir kritis yaitu model 3CM (Cool-Critical-Creative-Meaningfull) pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar dan menganalisis dampaknya terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SMPN di Salatiga, sampelnya 82 siswa dari SMPN 1 Salatiga dan SMPN 6 Salatiga yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen 1 dan 2. Desain penelitian eksperimen semu ini adalah randomized control grup pretest-postest design. Instrumen tes berbentuk 7 soal uraian, terdiri dari pretest dan posttest dengan rubrik penilaian berdasarkan aspek Focus, Reason, Inference, Situation, Clarity, and Overview. Uji hipotesis menunjukkan penerapan model pembelajaran 3CM dengan dua jenis kegiatan creative yang berbeda yaitu berbasis project dan berbasis problems posing menghasilkan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang sama. Penerapan 3CM dimungkinkan untuk menggunakan dua jenis kegiatan tersebut dalam melakukan aspek creative guna mengasah kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.  The Effectiveness of The 3 CM (Cool-Critical-Creative-Meaningful) Learning Model on The Critical Thinking Ability of SMP StudentsAbstractMathematics learning is expected to hone thinking skills, although learning must be done boldly. This study aims to apply a learning model that emphasizes the critical thinking aspect, namely the 3CM (Cool-Critical-Creative-Meaningful) model on the flat-sided building material, and analyze its impact on students' critical thinking skills. The study population was all students of SMPN in Salatiga, the sample was 82 students from SMPN 1 Salatiga and SMPN 6 Salatiga who were divided into experimental 1 and 2 groups. This quasi-experimental research design was a randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The test instrument is in the form of a description of 7 questions consisting of a pretest and posttest with a rubric based on aspects Focus, Reason, Inference, Situation, Clarity, and Overview. Hypothesis testing that the application of the 3CM learning model with different types of Creative (based on project and problems posing) activities results in the same critical thinking skills.
