In connection with a decrease in soil fertility, it is necessary to revise the doses of mineral fertilizers when growing watermelons of the Shirin variety in the Tashkent region of Uzbekistan. It is also necessary to establish the doses of fertilizers that have a positive effect on the yield and quality of the products obtained. The research was carried out at the experimental base of the Research Institute of Vegetables - Melons and Potatoes, located in the Tashkent region. The soils where the studies were carried out are typical gray soils of old irrigation with a humus content in the upper 0-25 cm horizon of about 1%, in the lower 25-40 cm horizon - about 0,7%. Calcareous soil, in texture referring stay to the dark loam average at density. During the research, the previously recommended doses of fertilizers were taken for control. During the experiments, the doses of mineral and organic fertilizers were increased accordingly. Studies have shown that the highest yield of good quality watermelons was obtained when applying 25,0 t/ha of manure in combination with N225 P225 K150  kg/ha and was equal to 21,2 t/ha, which is 37,7% higher than on the control variant (N150 P150 K100  kg/ha) and had good biochemical indicators of product quality: sugars 8,11%, dry matter 9,1%, ascorbic acid 21,6 mg%, nitrogen nitrates 20,6 mg/kg, on the control these indicators were equal to 6,65%, 8,6%, 17,9 mg%,13.2 mg/kg, respectively.

The article considers the effect of increasing doses and various combinations of mineral fertilizers applied to the cover crop on the yield and quality of a mixture of perennial grasses of two - years use, as well as the effect of fertilizers on the agrochemical parameters of sod-podzolic light loamy soil. The objects of the study were Stodolich meadow clover and Leningradskaya 204 meadow timothy grass. The studies were carried out in two crop rotations - with standard and reduced single doses of mineral fertilizers. The research results showed that in the years (VIII rotation) when the unit dose of fertilizers was increased to N20P20K25, the yield of perennial grasses was higher compared to the harvest in the VII rotation. The most appropriate dose in the VII rotation on perennial grasses of the 1st year was N30P30K45, on grasses of the 2nd year - doses of N30P30K45 and N40P40K60. In the VIII rotation, the highest yield of perennial grasses of the 1st year of use was obtained at a dose of N160P160K200 (8.4 t / ha), of grasses of the 2nd year of use at doses of N80P80K100 and N100P100K125 (6.5 t / ha). Positive effect of increasing doses of mineral fertilizers on the content of soil organic matter has been noted. On the contrary, the soil acidity increased from 4.7 to 4.3 units with an increase of mineral doses. Higher doses of fertilizers increased the content of mobile forms of phosphorus and potassium in the soil.

The article presents the results of studies on the influence of mineral fertilizers and chicken manure on the productivity of potato tubers of domestic and foreign selection. In the studies conducted in 2017-2019 on leached chernozem under the conditions of the Penza region, it was found that when chicken manure and mineral fertilizers are applied, the yield and quality of tubers increases, which is directly related to the supply of plants with nutrients. The use of chicken manure at a dose of 2 t/ha allowed to increase the total yield of tubers of the studied varieties of potatoes by 22.6-29.5, marketable tubers by 24.3-35.5 compared with the variant without fertilizers. The highest yields were observed in variants with the combined use of carbamide in a dose of N30 and potassium sulfate at a dose K60 and in variants with a combined use of ammophos at a dose N30P30K30 and potassium sulfate at a dose K30.The use of moderate doses of mineral fertilizers and chicken manure at a dose of 2 t/ha increases not only the productivity of potato tubers, but also the content of dry matter, starch and nitrates in the tubers, not exceeding the MAC value. The combined use of nitrogen-potassium and nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium fertilizers with the addition of potassium sulfate at doses of K60 and K30 can improve the quality indicators of tubers for all studied varieties.

Brazil is the world's largest producer of sugarcane, the main raw material used for the production of alcohol and sugar. The crop to achieve good levels of productivity demands high amounts of nutrients, which are usually supplied by the use of mineral fertilizers. An alternative for efficient fertilization is through the use of organomineral fertilizers. Such fertilizers consist of the mixture of organic fertilizers of animal or vegetable origin, and mineral fertilizers that undergo industrial processing. The industrial advance associated with the population increase has generated a large amount of solid waste and wastewater. One way to reduce the effects of environmental pollution from the presence of these solid wastes is through their treatment, giving rise to a pasty material, known as sewage sludge. Sewage sludge presents the potential to be used in the mineral nutrition of plants, both as fertilizer and as a soil conditioner. Biostimulants are natural or synthetic substances that can be applied directly to plants to increase yield and quality of crops of economic interest. Thus, the present review aims to report the study on the use of organomineral fertilizers from sewage sludge and biostimulant in sugarcane cultivation.

In this study was researched the influence of the pyrophyllite as a nutrient, bio-stabilizer, soil conditioner, as the adsorbent in different combinations and correlated standard quantitative relations with mineral fertilizers (NPK 15 : 15 : 15), on the yield and nutritional value of Bravo cabbage (Brassica oleraceae var. capitata). Within the examined factor of fertilization treatment, the following variances were represented: a1 – 800 kg ha–1 NPK 15 : 15 : 15 (control plot), a2 – 800 kg ha–1 NPK 15 : 15 : 15 + 2200 kg ha–1 pyrophyllite, a3 – 800 kg ha–1 NPK 15 : 15 : 15 + 1700 kg ha–1 of pyrophyllite, a4 – 800 kg ha–1 NPK 15 : 15 : 15 + 1200 kg ha–1 of pyrophyllite, a5 – 800 kg ha–1 NPK 15 : 15 : 15 + 700 kg ha–1 of pyrophyllite. The purpose of this research was to determine the extent to which the components of the yield and nutritional quality of cabbage depend on the different applied doses of pyrophyllite. The results indicate the fact that the treatments with the application of higher participation of pyrophyllite had a positive effect on the weight and quality of the cabbage head in relation to the control variance.

The article presents the results of studies of the influence of soil cultivation methods, mineral fertilizers and biofungicide on yield, grain quality of spring wheat and economic indicators. The studies were carried out in 2018-2020. The soil of the experimental site is represented by slightly leached heavy loamy chernozem with a humus content of 5.8%. The object of research is spring wheat, grade “Ulyanovskaya 100”. The subject of research is six methods of soil cultivation: 1) moldboard - (plowing by 20-22 cm PLN-4-35) control; 2) differentiated - (plowing 25-27 cm for the previous crop, disking 6-8 cm for spring wheat); 3) mulching - (by 10-12 cm APK-3 in spring); 4) comb - (OP-3S for 13-15cm); 5) disk - (paper machine for 6-8cm); 6) flat-carved - (KPSh-3 by 13-15cm). The experiment was carried out on four backgrounds: 1) N0P0K0 (control); 2. Background (N30P30K30 - for pre-sowing cultivation); 3. “Fitotrix”; 4.Background N30P30K30 + Fitotrix. The experiment was repeated four times. The arrangement of the plots is systematic, the total area of the plot is 250 m2 (10 x 25), the accounting area is 125 m2 (5 x 25). The highest yield - 3.73 t/ha, was achieved with the use of differentiated tillage, here the profitability of grain production was 161%, the energy efficiency coefficient was 3.51 units, against plowing, where the indicators were respectively by 0.15 t/ha, 52% and 0.43 units below. The greatest responsiveness in the harvesting of grain from fertilizers was observed in the variant with ridge cultivation, where the increments were 0.49 t/ha against the background of the application of N30P30K30, against the background of N30P30K30 + “Fitotrix” - by 0.96 t/ha relative to the non-fertilized background. The quality characteristics of the grain were similar regardless of the main tillage methods. The highest indicators were observed in the combination of biofungicide with mineral fertilizers, where the increase in gluten and protein was 3.4 and 1.1%, compared with the non-fertilized background

The article presents the studies carried out in 2017 and 2018 in the central zone of the Krasnodar Territory on the basis of the Agrotechnological Department of the FSBSI «National Center for Grain named after P.P. Lukyanenko». The purpose of the research was to study the dose and frequency of application of mineral fertilizers with a complex of NanoSilicon microelements, stimulating growth and development of corn and, ultimately, its yield and quality of the obtained products. Two year studies revealed the effectiveness of the positive effect of the studied drug on grain corn in all studied options. It was noted that at low or high doses of its application, a number of indicators that determine the structure of the crop and, ultimately, yield, decreased. It was found that foliar treatments increased the growing season of corn for a day. The introduction of the preparation promoted the formation of taller plants, the height of which varied from 201,3 to 212,4 cm, while in the control it was 184 cm (milk ripeness phase). In the same phase the plants had a large biological weight, which in the control was 1010,1 g/plant, and when the preparation was applied, it was 90,2–275,5 g/plant higher. Ultimately, mineral fertilization with the NanoSilicon microelement in all studied dosages had a positive effect on the corn yield, the maximum value, which was obtained when it was applied at doses of 40/75/75 (seed treatment with NanoSilicon with a rate of 40 g/ha + application by seedlings at a dose of 75 g/ha + in the phase of 7–8 leaves 75 g/ha) and 40/100/100 (seed treatment – 40 g/ha + seedlings – 100 g/ha + in the phase of 7–8 leaves – 100 g/ha), which amounted to 59,9 and 59,8 c/ha, respectively.

Aims: Pruning is the cutting of branches of a tea bush at predetermined height and at a specified interval in order to reinvigorate and bring tea bushes within reach of the pluckers, which directly related to the productivity and quality of tea. In Bangladesh, Three and four year pruning cycles were the conventional recommendations for the tea plantation. In this experiment, along with BTRI recommended four types of pruning operations (LP, DSK, MSK and LSK), two more types of  pruning operations such as: UP (Unprune) and LoS (Level of Skiff) were considered as treatments. This experiment was conducted with two main objectives: to evaluate the yield and yield related parameters of tea due to different types of pruning operations as well as to find out the effect of pruning operations on organoleptic quality of black tea. Study Design, Place and Duration of Study: This experiment was conducted ‘D2 Thall’ area at the main research farm of Bangladesh Tea Research Institute (BTRI) from December 2017 to November 2019. The experimental design was Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) with six treatments and three replications. Methodology: The treatments are denoted as T1 (UP: Unpruned) control, T2 (LP: Light Pruning), T3 (DSK: Deep Skiffing), T4 (MSK: Medium Skiffing), T5 (LSK: Light Skiffing) and T6 (LoS: Level of Skiffing) respectively. Data were collected under the following parameters: Number of plucking point or pluckable shoot/bush in each plucking Fresh weight (g) of 100 shoots (three leaves and a bud) Oven Dry weight (g) of 100 shoots (three leaves and a bud) to calculate Dry Matter Content Green leaf weight (kg) to calculate Yield of each treatment Number of plucking round to calculate Yield gap of each treatment Black Tea Quality of each treatment by Organoleptic Tasting Method. Results: It was found that, number of plucking points/pluckable shoot and yield were found significantly high in T6 (Level of Skiffing), T5 (Light Skiffing) and T1 (Unpruned) than the other treatments. But in terms of tea quality, lowest quality tea was found in T1 (Unpruned), T6 (Level of Skiffing) and T5 (Light Skiffing) treatment. So, it can be concluded that, ‘Skiff Pruning’ or ‘Unprune’ technique had positive effect on yield but the quality of these technique were poor in comparison with other treatments. T2 (Light Pruning) treatment gave more tender and fresh shoot than the other treatment. For this reason, dry matter was low in T2 (Light Pruning) treatment but tea quality was much better than the other pruning technique. Conclusion: Pruning has  positive or  negative effect on  yield and quality of  tea.  ‘Skiff Pruning’ or ‘Unprune’ has positive effect on yield but the quality of is poor than the other treatments. Best Quality tea can be produced from Light Pruning tea section because of having more tender and fresh shoot than other treatments.
