This writing is trying to refresh the memory about Government policy in teaching English of primary and secondary school in Indonesia. The literacy approach is conducted to achieve the effective communicative skills for the students. The literacy has been developed not only read and write but also furthermore in using the knowledge in order to help student role in society. This writing reveals some theory and technique is supporting the literacy approach until in the classroom. It is suggested to the teacher to enrich their capacity in order to preparing the next curriculum so, they can understand and act in the classroom as the literate teacher.

In this technological era, students need a change in everything especially in learning a subject which is considered to be a difficult one for second language learners (SLL). The advent of internet at all levels of learning in the educational arena is a boon to English teachers to improve the communicative skills of students. This paper shows how Vlog (a fusion of video and blog) to be used in an English teaching classroom to improve students’ oral communication. Vlog helps students to practice English even outside the classroom, give instant teacher’s feedback about their performance and can watch fellow students’ performance. This paper discusses how teachers and students can very easily use vlog by understanding the computer mechanism. This chapter presents an overview of aspects that may influence women and men religious on their religious vocational decision during their childhood with their family and parish, their attendance of primary and secondary school, their participation in parish life, and their college years. The influential aspects addressed are: attending Mass regularly and devotional practices, having the opportunity to discuss and receive encouragement from others to discern a religious vocation, the witness of men and women religious, and being engaged in youth and voluntary ministry programs. The chapter concludes that while not every individual religious has opportunities to experience these activities in various environments before he or she decides to enter religious life, all the aspects complement one another and have an impact on religious vocational discernment and decision-making.
