The process of determining eligibility for someone is usually given with the same value. The determination of eligibility is determined based on several criteria. These criteria are the ability to Academic Potential Test (APT) and Grade Point Average (GPA). The Tsukamoto fuzzy system is the model used in this paper. Each input variable is divided into two membership functions. There are nine rules of Tsukamoto's model applied. The system also provides following changes of parameters if the parameter values are to be changed. The result of the difference of the employability is given to them. The greater the APT score, the more the value of the feasibility of the work obtained. The more GPA values gained, the greater the value of the workplace eligibility.

The process of determining cuts tuition for students are usually given with the same nominal. And in this paper is the determination of the pieces tuition for students who are less able to be different, depending on how much income parents and the number of children covered. For income parents who get discounted tuition fee of IDR Rp.1,500,000 and for the number of children in these families also determine the number of pieces obtained. Tsukamoto Fuzzy system is the model used in this paper. Each input variable is divided into three membership functions. In this paper, Nine Tsukamoto Fuzzy model rules have been applied. The system also provides a consequent change of parameters if the current parameter values to be changed. The smaller the parent's income, the greater the pieces obtained. The more children insured the greater the college acquired pieces.

The paper aims to develop the instrument about analogy test to measure the level of intelligence of undergraduate students. Determination of the number of samples is done by purposive sampling technique. This instrument is analyzed by factor analysis. Of the 15 items that will be used to develop the academic potential test instrument for verbal analogies, 4 analysis factors. The formation of these 4 factors is from Eigenvalues greater than 1 so that there are only 4 factors that fulfill the requirements. Furthermore, 15 items of the tested instrument to 91 undergraduate student respondents obtained 2 items of invalid instrument with correlation coefficient ≤0.3, Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) and Bartlett's test amounted to 0.785 with p 0.05. Trial results from the results of the trial results obtained that the average validity of the questions is 96.8%. Test reliability was analyzed using the Alpha (α) formula of Cronbach. The calculation is done using the help of the IBM SPSS version 22.0 Windows program and the coefficient of 0.806 is obtained. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the quality of the developed instrument items has been valid and reliable.

Objective: This study compared National Board of Chiropractic Examiners part I test scores between students who did and did not serve as tutors on the subject matter. Methods: Students who had a prior grade point average of 3.45 or above on a 4.0 scale just before taking part I of the board exams were eligible to participate. A 2-sample t-test was used to ascertain the difference in the mean scores on part I between the tutor group (n = 28) and nontutor (n = 29) group. Results: Scores were higher in all subjects for the tutor group compared to the nontutor group and the differences were statistically significant (p < .01) with large effect sizes. Conclusion: The tutors in this study performed better on part I of the board examination compared to nontutors, suggesting that tutoring results in an academic benefit for tutors themselves.

The difficulty in determining a number of item purchased is one of essential activities in inventory management. This study scientifically proposes a decision support model to decide how much number of next item purchased by a pharmacy company. The main objective of the developed model is to control a minimum stock at a certain time and condition and support in making the decision on how many items should be purchased at next time. Decision support model considers two independent parameters; lead time and stock. Tsukamoto’s fuzzy system is functioned in this study to avoid blurring parameter values from someone making a decision. Each criterion is divided into three membership functions; with nine fuzzy-rules used. The model also supports changing parameters if parameter values are changed. Based on the results of model test done, the optimized number of item purchased at the Pharmacy Company is able to be proposed practically.

<p><em>Information Literacy (IL) and Science Process Skills (SPS) have been widely examined to enhance the quality of learning, especially in higher education, in which information technology has become the basis of human life. This research aims to explore the relationship between IL and SPS to the grade point average (GPA) of pre-service science student. Determination of samples using a typical case sampling is 278 students from 329 active students in the program at S1-Science Education, Surabaya State University (UNESA). This research uses quantitative approaches. The source of data is a test result of IL and SPS towards a GPA in the odd 2017/2018 semester. The data were analyzed using the Minitab 16 program. The results of the data analysis showed that   = 26,69 ˃ 3,03 =   = (0,05;2;275) or in other words support data to reject   with confidence level 95%. This investigation concludes that there is a significant relationship between variable information literacy and science process skills together against the grade point average. The results of the research are expected to be one of the considerations in choosing and determining the right learning of science teachers, </em><strong> </strong><strong></strong></p>

The lack of quota each scholarship awarded by the RISTEK DIKTI make students vying to get it.For example, in 2016 a scholarship PPA quotanya 12 people and scholarships BPP as many as 11 people, while registering perbeasiswa can reach hundreds of students. Of course, with this state of student affairs should be thorough and careful in the selection of the requirements that have been proposed student. Especially in the student still using simple calculations and application of semimanual for decision-making. Given each scholarship PPA and BBP has several requirements that must be met students we need a system that is able to decide objectively. So that decisions are absolutely on target in accordance with the government's expectations. Therefore, in this study thetheme of the fuzzy system for selecting scholarship in STMIK Bumigora Mataram. The results of this study contribute to the recommendations that indicate a student suitably receive certain types of scholarships with an accuracy of 80%. The indicator is used as a determinant in the decision-making scholarship acceptance form of the economic situation of parents, grade point average, points student, active in the organization and the certificate of student activities.

The Learning Style Questionnaire and the Children's Nowicki-Strickland I-E Control Scale were given to 128 boys and girls in Grades 8 and 11 in the La Grande (Oregon) School District. Each subject's previous year's grade point average was obtained to determine the relationships among hemisphericity, locus of control, and achievement. Also assessed, including interactions, were differences in hemisphericity, locus of control, and achievement by sex and grade. There was a significant relationship (of low practical value) between locus of control and GPA only. The difference in hemisphericity scores with respect to grade was significant.

This research compared the accuracy of prediction of Grade Point Average (GPA) of the first semester students using C4.5 and CART algorithms in Faculty of Information Technology (FTI), Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana (UKDW). This research also explored various parameters such as numeric attribute categorization, data balance, GPA categories number, and different attributes availability due to the difference of data availability between Achievement Admission (AA) and Regular Admission (RA). The training data used to create decision tree were FTI students, 2008-2015 batch, while the testing data were FTI students, 2016 batch. The accuracy of prediction was measured by using crosstab table. In AA, the accuracy of both algorithms can be achieved about 86.86%. Meanwhile, in RA the accuracy of C4.5 is about 61.54% and CART is about 63.16%. From these accuracy result, both algorithms are better to predict AA rather than RA.

Research activities have been studied extensively to improve the quality of learning, especially in higher education. This research aims to explore the mastery of the term of research ( TR or IR ) and research skills (RS or KR) of toward of grade point average (GPA or IPK). This research uses a quantitative approach to the object of students in natural science education program a number of 67 people who follow biotechnology courses academic year 2017/2018. Data collection with tests and aggregation of documentation. Data analysis technique is done by quantitative descriptive analysis. The decision indicates that the exact number of IR is 66.0 (easy category) and KS is 65.8 (short category). The result of correlation analysis shows 𝐹𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑡 = 6,147˃ 3,140 = 𝐹𝑡𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 = (0,05;2;64) or in other words there a relationship of IR and KR collectively to GPA. This study concludes that there is a significant correlation between IR and KR guards in the same period as the GPA. Based on the investigation, it is expected to provide benefits as one of the considerations for the selection and determination of learning mods related to learning. It is expected to be useful as a consideration for the selection and determination of study-related modes for improvement.
