Learning performance among patients with multiple sclerosis is one of the growing areas of research interest. The present study used the MSQOL-54 measure to examine data obtained from college students studying pharmacy. The collected data were meant to increase pharmacy students; awareness of the learning difficulties experienced by MS patients. The data consisted of students from years 2 to 6 of college. The findings showed that study year had no significant relationship with the knowledge level, Х2= 12.69, p > .05. However, year of study had a significant relationship with awareness about learning difficulties, Х2 = 17.61, p < .05. In total, 52.83% of students in study year 2 were not aware of the learning difficulties MS patients face and 51.72% of third year students were aware of the learning difficulties. By the fourth year, the number increased to 85.71%. After year 4, the percentage of students who were aware of learning difficulties seemed to decrease (82% in year 5 and 68% in year 6). These findings show that students tend to forget what they have learnt. Further studies need to be carried out to examine strategies for enhancing the experience of MS students.

Cabbage is one of the most popular vegetables in the world because of its adaptability to a wide range of climatic conditions and soil type, ease of production and storage, and its food value. Commercial cultivation of Cabbage is very successful due to high market demand and its medicinal importance to treat gout, deafness, headache and hangovers in the early days. The present study aimed to assess the Knowledge level of cabbage growers towards the recommended package of practices in Budgam District of Jammu and Kashmir, India during the year 2017-18. Ex- post- facto research design was adopted. The study was carried out in purposively selected Zone Chadoora of district Budgam of Jammu and Kashmir State, as having maximum area under cabbage crop. A sample of 120 cabbage growers was selected by proportionate allocation method from randomly selected six villages. The data was collected with the help of a well structured interview schedule. Data derived from the growers was analyzed by employing suitable statistical methods. Twelve independent variables were categorized and studied in relation to dependent variable i.e. knowledge   level about cabbage cultivation practices. Majority of the growers had medium knowledge level regarding the recommended package of practices for cabbage cultivation given by SKUAST-Kashmir. Correlation analysis revealed that education, occupation, operational land holding, area under cabbage, experience in cabbage cultivation, net income, mass media exposure and scientific orientation  had significant relationship with the knowledge level of cabbage growers whereas the remaining independent variables starting with age had a negative and significant relationship with the knowledge whereas, family size, innovation proneness and extension contact had no significant relationship with the knowledge level of cabbage growers. The identified gaps in farmers practices and recommended cultivation practices may help to give directions to the field level extension workers to manipulate the appropriate factors so as to increase the adoption level. The results of the study will be useful to extension personnel and administrators so that they could know the extent of knowledge and adoption behaviour of cabbage growers. The results could also be used to bridge the gap through intensive training and organizing of other extension activities.

The learning process has a benchmark that refers to the achievements experienced by students, namely learning outcomes. Learning outcomes achieved by students have two influencing factors namely internal and external factors. These two factors that influence learning outcomes are interest and learning difficulties. The results of observations on the learning outcomes of students of SMPN 11 Padang in science are still low. Students say that science learning are numerous and difficult. The existence of students who score below the average and the lack of student interest shows the student's interest in learning in science is less and it can be assumed that students have difficulty learning science. Research is a descriptive study. Research uses a correlational study approach. Research subjects consisted of 30 people in class VIII G of SMP 11 Padang. To find out the relationship between variables expressed by the correlation coefficient, data analysis techniques are used using the Sperman Rank correlation. The correlation between student interest and learning outcomes is weak, that is -0.32, the contribution of 10.24% does not have a significant relationship. There is a significant relationship between learning difficulties and learning outcomes, medium criteria w ith a value of 0.59, contribution value is 34.81%. Correlation criteria for interests and difficulties with strong learning outcomes with a value of 0.66 and a contribution of 43.56%, as well as a significant relationship between variables. The results of the relationship between learning interest and learning difficulties with learning outcomes are strong and each variable has a significantly relationship.

Background: Selfie a generalized expression for a "self portrait”, has become a fad among today's youth. People love to take and post their selfies even when they are in critical situations or any annoying surroundings. For example, when someone met with an accident, people take pictures, rather than calling ambulance. Aim: This study aimed to investigate the narcissism and selfie users among college students of Coimbatore, India. Materials and Methods: Descriptive design was adapted. Conveniently selected 100 post graduate students were assessed on selfie usage and narcissism. Results: Study found that 67% of the students moderately using selfie and 50% of the students had narcissism. Narcissism had a significant relationship with selfie usage. Conclusion: Study concluded that majority of the college students who were taking selfies and uploading them on social networking sites after editing them had more narcissism. Study recommends that early screening followed by appropriate interventions are required for selfie takers to avoid psychological problems in future. Keywords: Selfie usage, narcissism, students

The development of performance, such as learning a new motor skill, can be represented in a performance curve. The shape of the performance curve is both of theoretical and practical relevance. Here, the author studied the interday performance of juggling over a period of 17 days in 112 college students. The results showed that 60% of participants followed an S-shaped performance curve with the inflection date on the 11th day, followed by a decelerated (20%), accelerated (14%), and linear curve (6%). As expected, except on Day 1, male participants performed at least 33% better than female participants on each practice day. Also as expected, learning performance was found to depend on the type of performance curve with the best learning performance exhibited by the linear group. The results further revealed that pooling all participants’ performance together without considering the percentage of each underlying type of performance curve would lead to biased, nonrepresentative results. Given the variety of the observed performance curves and the dominance of the S-shaped performance curve among them, coaches should continuously monitor the shape of an individual’s performance curve.

Background: Research in multiple sclerosis (MS) suggests warmer weather plays a role in disease manifestation. Objective: This work sought to replicate the finding that warmer outdoor temperatures are significantly associated with poorer cognition in MS. Methods: Associations between outdoor temperature and cognition were examined in three studies with a total of 263 patients with MS. Results: Contrary to previous research, no significant relationship was found between cognitive performance and outdoor temperature in MS. Conclusions: The results of the current work underscore the need to better understand if, when, and how cognitive performance may be influenced by seasonal variables in MS.

Objective: Mock questions are thought to benefit to students through help with learning, revealing specific areas of learning difficulties, practice examination timing and aiding a higher mark in the examination. The literature suggests practice questions have a direct impact on students’ academic performance and improving examination confidence. The aim of the study was to gather opinions of pharmacy students on using mock examinations and practice questions to prepare for summative examinations. Methods: Paper based questionnaires were distributed to all fourth year pharmacy students at the start of a university scheduled workshop session. The data was transcribed onto a Microsoft Excel™ spreadsheet and analysed. Results: Out of all fourth year pharmacy students 73% completed the questionnaire of which 91% had received access to mock questions but only 92% of those who had access used them. Common themes were identified; the benefits of using mock questions were ‘knowledge’, ‘examination style’ and ‘identification of weaknesses’. Furthermore, most participants chose ‘Year 3 Calculations exam’ (62%) as the most useful summative examination for which to use mock questions. Conclusion: Mock questions have a place in improving the performance of pharmacy students in examinations. The study results showed that the majority of participants who used mock questions found them to be useful in promoting learning, revealing specific areas of learning difficulties, improving awareness of examination structure, practicing their ability to apply knowledge to questions under examination conditions and to motivate students to revise more using better strategies.
