The problem of improving the health of children, as well as strengthening their physical, mental and spiritual health is one of the most important tasks of the state.  The process of judo training is accompanied by the alternation of different emotional states.  These states are positive or negative, depending on a number of reasons.  During the struggle, emotional states change.  It depends on the course of the match.  Emotion management and the ability to maintain a stable psycho-emotional state is produced by a judoka in the process of gaining sports experience. In recent years, the modern view of healthy living has aroused interest in health care systems and educational institutions based on the inextricable link between body and mind. In addition, public interest in various types of martial arts has now increased to ensure good physical shape and health.  Deterioration of psycho-emotional state and health involuntarily leads to a decrease in intellectual activity.  Judo, according to many researchers, is one of the best ways to improve the physical, mental and emotional state of students.  The article identifies the level of situational anxiety and tests (Spielberger-Hanin) among schoolchildren aged 16-17 who practice judo.  And also the comparative analysis of dynamics of indicators of a psychoemotional condition of boys and girls of 16 – 17 years in the course of experiment is made.  The results of research have shown that judo classes have a positive effect on the psycho-emotional state of students, meet the age, functional, physical and mental characteristics of boys and girls 16 – 17 years and can be used to solve health problems of judo practitioners.

In the modern conditions of reforming the domestic education system, higher and higher requirements are being imposed not only on the professional knowledge, skills and abilities of teachers, but also on the level of their psychological well-being and the ability to manage their emotions. The article presents the results of an empirical study of the features of the emotional states of teachers of preschool educational institutions with different work experience. Based on the calculations of statistically significant differences using the Kraskel-Wallis H-test coefficient, it is concluded that the emotional states of teachers with different experience differ in the severity of the degree of fatigue, emotional tone, tension and stress. According to the authors of the article, psycho-pedagogical techniques aimed at optimizing emotional states of teachers should be based on four components: organic, emotional, semantic and behavioral.

To analyze functioning of health care systems in the European countries, a new listing of preventable causes of death was developed, ignoring impact of policy of population health protection. The following question is arising: does proximity of rates of more than ten-year decreasing of preventable and non-preventable mortality in Russia is conditioned by occurred necessity of adjustment of listing of preventable causes? The study was carried out to investigate applicability of the new listing of preventable causes for analyzing mortality of population of Russia. The comparative analysis was applied to dynamics of preventable mortality evaluated according two listings for Russia and EU countries up to May 2004 (Holland W., 1997; Nolte E., McKee M., 2004). In both listings the causes were assorted in three levels of mortality prevention. The information of European mortality database WHO/Europe was used. The analysis concerned males and females aged from 25 to 64 years during 1999-2013. The results of analysis of dynamics of preventable mortality in the EU counties substantially depend on listing of preventable causes whereas in Russia this dependency is observed only during analysis of female mortality. For the EU countries it is inexpediently to consider causes depending on primarily prevention of diseases as related to controllable mortality. However, in Russia these causes have a crucial impact on level and dynamics of mortality. So, in Russia the old listing of preventable causes continues to be actual and the new listing can be applied only as additional source of information to results of evaluation of functioning of health care system developed on the basis of the old listing.

Abstract Background Norway and Sweden have similar populations and health care systems, but different reactions to the COVID-19 pandemic. Norway closed educational institutions, and banned sports and cultural activities; Sweden kept most institutions and training facilities open. We aimed to compare peoples’ attitudes towards authorities and control measures, and effects on life in Norway and Sweden. Methods Anonymous web-based surveys for individuals age 15 or older distributed through Facebook using the snowball method, in Norway and Sweden from mid-March to mid-April, 2020. The survey contained questions about perceived threat of the pandemic, views on infection control measures, and impact on daily life. We performed descriptive analyses of the responses and compared the two countries. Results 3,508 individuals participated in the survey (Norway 3000; Sweden 508). 79% were women, the majority were 30–49 years (Norway 60%; Sweden 47%), and about 45% of the participants in both countries had more than four years of higher education.

Abstract. This study measured the effect of emotional states on lexical decision task performance and investigated which underlying components (physiological, attentional orienting, executive, lexical, and/or strategic) are affected. We did this by assessing participants’ performance on a lexical decision task, which they completed before and after an emotional state induction task. The sequence effect, usually produced when participants repeat a task, was significantly smaller in participants who had received one of the three emotion inductions (happiness, sadness, embarrassment) than in control group participants (neutral induction). Using the diffusion model ( Ratcliff, 1978 ) to resolve the data into meaningful parameters that correspond to specific psychological components, we found that emotion induction only modulated the parameter reflecting the physiological and/or attentional orienting components, whereas the executive, lexical, and strategic components were not altered. These results suggest that emotional states have an impact on the low-level mechanisms underlying mental chronometric tasks.

A system for medical information has been developed. The system is a general and flexible one which without reprogramming or new programs can accept any alphabetic and/or numeric information. Coded concepts and natural language can be read, stored, decoded and written out. Medical records or parts of records (diagnosis, operations, therapy, laboratory tests, symptoms etc.) can be retrieved and selected. The system can process simple statistics but even make linear pattern recognition analysis. The system described has been used for in-patients, outpatients and individuals in health examinations. The use of computers in hospitals, health examinations or health care systems is a problem of storing information in a general and flexible form. This problem has been solved, and now it is possible to add new routines like booking and follow-up-systems.

AbstractChildren with epilepsy often have impairments in cognitive and behavioral functioning which may hinder socio-occupational well-being as they reach adulthood. Adolescents with epilepsy have the added worry of health problems while starting the transition from family-centered pediatric care into largely autonomous adult care. If this transition is not appropriately planned and resourced, it may result in medical mistrust, nonadherence, and worsening biopsychosocial health as an adult. In recent years, there has been increased availability of digital health solutions that may be used during this stark change in care and treating teams. The digital health landscape includes a wide variety of technologies meant to address challenges faced by patients, caregivers, medical professionals, and health care systems. These technologies include mobile health products and wearable devices (e.g., seizure monitors and trackers, smartphone passive data collection), digital therapeutics (e.g., cognitive/behavioral health management; digital speech–language therapy), telehealth services (e.g., teleneurology visits), and health information technology (e.g., electronic medical records with patient portals). Such digital health solutions may empower patients in their journey toward optimal brain health during the vulnerable period of pediatric to adult care transition. Further research is needed to validate and measure their impact on clinical outcomes, health economics, and quality of life.
