The world has been drastically moved into new arenas by the implementation of new technologies in almost every discipline. One such advancement is Artificial Intelligence. Artificial Intelligence is playing a vital role in the military. The data scientists are designing such algorithms that can help in understanding the minds of individuals by closely analyzing the patterns of their thinking. Such Algorithms include many different approaches to data mining. All these advancements in Artificial Intelligence are assisting military forces in devising strategies that will not only enhance the functioning but will also give proactive ways rather than reactive ways while handling the wars or the threat of wars(Manzotti and Chella, 2018). In the contemporary world of using soft powers as a skill to resolve conflicts, the use of Artificial Intelligence in order to win wars through hearts and minds has been a much-needed concept. Data scientists and psychologists need to collaborate and design new algorithms to make the best use of Artificial Intelligence.

One of the realities of modern times is the evolution of new technologies around the world, as well as the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics in different spheres of society. Artificial intelligence, which was founded in the middle of the last century, has been one of the most invested in and interesting fields in recent times. Recently one of the most discussed and important issues is the relationship between artificial intelligence (AI) and intellectual property rights (IPR). Thus, the ownership of works created by artificial intelligence is one of the most discussed issues. In recent years, on the initiative of President Ilham Aliyev, modern achievements of world science have been applied in the life of society in the Republic of Azerbaijan. Considering all of this, the significance and urgency of the situation are clear. In other words, this is an issue that is high on both our national and international agendas. There is not a one-size-fits-all definition of “social impact.” In fact, in a Google search for “What is social impact?” more than 400 results appear. This chapter will highlight global initiatives led by OneSight, an NGO that is utilizing new technologies to combat the vision care crisis, and CanopyLAB, a software company that has teamed up with over 120 NGOs around the world to create and provide online courses utilizing artificial intelligence.

Abstract The Dacians, a very important Indo-European people of the ancient world, were, like all Indo-European peoples, highly trained in the art of war. The legends of the ancient world placed the worship of Ares/Mars, the god of war, in the world of the Thracians, the Dacians being the most important of the Thracians, by the creation of a state and by their remarkable civilization, where war generated rank. The Dacian leaders, military aristocrats, Tarabostes are similar to the Bharathi of the Aryans, therefore the accounts of Herodotus, the father of history, who called the Thracians (including the Dacians, the northern Thracians), “the most important of the Indo-Europeans, after the race of the Indians” (i.e. the Persians and the Aryans, their relatives), also have a military meaning. The totemic symbol of the wolf was much present in Europe, especially with Indo-European peoples, like the Spartans, the aristocrats of war, but mostly with the Romans, the gendarmes of the ancient world. But the Dacians honoured this majestic animal above all, not only as a symbol of the state, but also, apparently, as their eponym. As warriors, the Dacians lay under the sign of the wolf, their battle flag, and acted like real wolves against their enemies, whether they were Celts, during the reign of Burebista, or Romans, during the reign of Decebalus. The Dacians made history in the military art, being perfectly integrated, after the Roman conquest, in the largest and best trained army of the ancient world, the Roman army. Moreover, the wolf warriors, mastering the equestrian art, were a success in the special, though auxiliary troops of the famous equites singulares in the Roman army. If the Romans were the eagles of war, the Dacians were its wolves, these two symbols best illustrating the military art of all times.

Measures aimed at keeping physical and social distance during the COVID-19 pandemic have started to be a big challenge for service industries all over the world. The utilization of new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI robots) in hospitality and tourism can be imposed as a potential safety-related problem solver. This study explores consumers’ intentions to use hospitality services once all restrictions related to COVID-19 have been relaxed as well as their perception of how important they find some of the safety-related protective measures when visiting accommodation facilities. Respondents find that more rigorous cleaning techniques, additional disinfection, and hand sanitizer stations are the most important safety-related protective measures when staying at the accommodation facility. Although the respondents do not perceive AI robots as an important protective measure or beneficial in delivering a catering service, the results indicate some significant differences between more and less risk-averse travelers suggesting some potential strategic pathways during the crisis but also in the post-coronavirus future.

New products and ideas are continually being developed and introduced into the workplace. A cursory observation of any field, for example, medicine, telecommunications, transportation, information management, or the military, will reveal a wide array of new technologies and techniques that have been introduced over the last decade. Many of these innovations have radically transformed the way we work and live. Innovative technologies are also radically changing the way we teach and learn. Among the most well-known recent examples of these learning technologies are multimedia, educational games, software for developing presentations, video conferencing, and the World Wide Web (WWW). In addition, the continuous expansion of the power and availability of technology means newer, better, faster, and cheaper technologies will always be available to assist educators in transforming the learning process.

Event tourism has undergone a serious change in the world with developing technology and innovations. In this respect, this chapter examines the direct, marketing, and management effects of technology on event tourism with a literature review. Studies in this field in the literature show that technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, robots, decision support systems, internet of things, 5G cause behavioral changes in tourists; thus, event organizers use these technologies effectively to keep up with this change. In this context, academic studies in the field, new technologies, and methods used, innovation strategies are explained in detail in the book section, and a framework has been developed and presented to examine smart event tourism in detail. The results of the research are thought to contribute to the literature and offer managerial solutions.

This chapter explores the relationship between change and the American military school. Its objective is to demonstrate that the military school is not only readily adaptable to change, but in the process is an important agent for change. However, reaching that conclusion requires the reader to first understand what is often misunderstood, the nature of a military school. Upon that knowledge of the purpose, organization, process, learning model, and most significantly, the vision and mission of the American military school come the realization that this learning institution can be an effective catalyst for change. It therefore is an important segment of the American educational system and can have a vital role in sustaining America's leadership in the world. Support for that proposition is offered by analyzing how one American military school, the New Mexico Military Institute, has changed in response to a series of challenges to its future such as the COVID-19 pandemic. This chapter deals with leadership, learning, change, and the American military school.
