ABSTRAKKompetensi dan keahlian dalam menggunakan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) sangat penting terutama bagi tenaga pendidik seperti guru maupun dosen yang tugasnya sangat mulia yaitu untuk mencerdaskan kehidupan anak bangsa. Persoalan yang dihadapi oleh guru-guru pada UPTD SMP Negeri 11 Kota Kupang adalah belum memanfaatkan aplikasi google classroom dalam melakukan Pendidikan Jarak Jauh (PJJ) selama masa pandemic dengan efektif agar proses Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar (KBM) dapat tetap dilaksanakan, dengan memanfaatkan fitur-fitur yang tersedia seperti memudahkan pengajar dan murid untuk berinteraksi baik di dalam sekolah maupun di luar sekolah, penghematan kertas (paperless) dan waktu. Berdasarkan alasan tersebut, maka dibuatlah kegiatan pengabdian dengan judul “Pelatihan Google Classroom bagi Guru-Guru UPTD SMP Negeri 11 Kota Kupang”. Adapun tahapan yang digunakan adalah melalui tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan kegiatan dengan metode pelatihan dan pendampingan. Kegiatan dapat berjalan dengan efektif dan efisien hal ini dibuktikan dengan antusias peserta yang mengikuti pelatihan dengan mendapatkan semua materi yang sudah dipersiapkan dan sesuai dengan jadwal yang sudah ditetapkan. Pendampingan secara online melalui grup whatsapp yang telah dibentuk, dengan tujuan untuk kedalaman pemahaman materi melalui pemberian tugas serta diskusi dan sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab moril. Kegiatan PKM ini sangat diapresiasi oleh para peserta dengan mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan dari awal sampai akhir..Kata kunci: google classroom; pembelajaran; online; guru-guru. ABSTRACTCompetence and expertise in using Information and Communication Technology (ICT) are very important, especially for educators such as teachers and lecturers whose very noble task is to educate the lives of the nation's children. The problem faced by teachers at UPTD SMP Negeri 11 Kupang City is that they have not used the google classroom application in conducting Distance Education (PJJ) during the pandemic effectively so that the Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM) process can continue to be implemented, by utilizing the features such as making it easier for teachers and students to interact both inside and outside school, saving paper (paperless) and time. Based on these reasons, a service activity was made with the title "Google Classroom Training for UPTD Teachers at SMP Negeri 11 Kupang City". The stages used are through the preparation stage, implementation of activities with training and mentoring methods. Activities can run effectively and efficiently, this is evidenced by the enthusiasm of the participants who participated in the training by getting all the materials that had been prepared and according to the schedule that had been set. Online assistance through WhatsApp groups has been formed, with the aim of deepening understanding of the material through assignments and discussions and as a form of moral responsibility. This PKM activity was highly appreciated by the participants by participating in training activities from beginning to end. Keywords: google classroom; learning; online; teachers.

This research examines digital empowerment in high schools in Indonesia. Based on the reflexivity perspective, digital empowerment is described as the effort to respond to changes in learning systems in digital-based schools. This research was conducted qualitatively through observations and in-depth interviews. The participants of this study included school principals and the teachers of information and communication technology in three Indonesian public senior high schools in different cities, namely Banda Aceh, Padang, and Banjarmasin. The results highlighted the need to understand the context and projections of the teachers' and student's ability and self-access to information and communication technology elements, in which appropriate measures can be formulated in response to the digitisation of the teaching-learning process in the schools. Self-awareness and information and communication technology competence shape digital empowerment efforts in schools based on their respective needs and abilities. As such, the digital-based collaboration of teaching and learning can be construed as a form of contextual digital empowerment, which is applied at the micro-level adapting to dynamic changes in digital competence, especially in teachers and students.

<p><em><em>Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran pelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh mata pelajaran Adminisstrasi Umum sebagai upaya menekan penyebaran covid-19 di lingkungan sekolah. Salah satu solusi pembelajaran jarak jauh adalah menggunakan Google Classroom sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis e-learning yang memudahkan guru dan peserta didik melakukan proses belajar mengajar di rumah untuk menunjang pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Pemanfaatan Google Classroom saat ini sangat efektif dan efisien yang tidak terbatas oleh ruang dan waktu. Guru dapat memberikan materi secara online, baik berupa teks, gambar, audio, maupun video kepada peserta didik. Selain itu guru dapat membuat daftar hadir peserta didik engan menggunakan link dari google form yang dikirimkan dalam Google Classroom. </em></em></p><p><em><br /></em></p><p><em>This research is a qualitative research which aims to obtain an overview of the implementation of distance learning in General Administration subjects as an effort to suppress the spread of covid-19 in the school environment. One distance learning solution is to use Google Classroom as an e-learning-based interactive learning media that makes it easier for teachers and students to carry out the teaching and learning process at home to support learning based on information and communication technology. The use of Google Classroom today is very effective and efficient, which is not limited by time and space. Teachers can provide material online, in the form of text, images, audio, and video to students. In addition, the teacher can make an attendance list of students using the link from the google form that is sent to the Google Classroom.</em></p>

Tumbuh kembangnya ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi informasi, khususnya teknologi informasi komunikasi banyak membawa dampak yang positif bagi berkembangnya dunia informasi dan terlebih khusus lagi pada dunia pendidikan. Pendidikan formal, informal, dan non formal dapat menikmati fasilitas teknologi informasi komunikasi dari yang simpel sampai kepada yang kompleks. Format-format pendidikan yang mungkin tersedia di abad ke-21 yaitu Cyber (E-Learning) yang merupakan belajar atau pembelajaran melalui pemanfaatan teknologi informasi komunikasi melalui perangkat komputer dan atau internet, open/distance learning yaitu model pembelajaran jarak jauh, dimana guru dan peserta didik/siswa berada dalam satu tempat yang berbeda tetapi bisa dengan waktu yang sama, serta dengan kemajuan teknolosi saat ini bisa juga dengan bertatap muka melalui kamera tetapi tidak bisa bertatap fisik secara langsung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa dapat berkomunikasi dengan lancar dalam melakukan proses belajar mengajar menggunakan aplikasi Edmodo   The growth and development of science and information technology, especially information and communication technology has brought many positive impacts for the development of the world of information and especially in the world of education. Formal, informal, and non-formal education can enjoy information communication technology facilities from the simple to the complex. Educational formats that may be available in the 21st century are Cyber ​​(E-Learning) which is learning or learning through the use of information and communication technology through computers and or the internet, open/distance learning, which is a distance learning model, where teachers and participants students/students are in a different place but can be at the same time, and with current technological advances it can also be face-to-face through the camera but cannot meet physically directly. The purpose of this study is that teachers and students can communicate smoothly in the teaching and learning process using the Edmodo application

In the last few decades, Information Technology has transformed the entire world into a village, known as Global Village, as proposed by Marshal McLuhan. ICT has increased its influence in every field like the education sector, defense sector, technology etc. In the 21st century, information and communication technology (ICT) has become an important and integral part of most educational organizations throughout the world.. The use of ICT in classroom teaching and learning processes has become indispensable as it gives teachers and learners the opportunity to operate, store, control and retrieve data in addition to promoting self-regulated and active learning. (Ali, Haolader & Muhammad, 2013) Today we are dependent on technology and the role of ICT is increasing day by day and is believed to be a new normal. Keeping that in view, the present paper attempts to examine the relationship between information and communication technologies (ICT) and student learning. The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the teaching and learning process has been the subject of extensive research in the past few decades. Many studies have discussed the benefits of ICT for teachers and learners. However, little is known about the main factors that influence teachers’ attitudes toward the use of ICT in their teaching practices. This study aimed to explore the attitudes of secondary school EFL teachers in the Western District of Chlef toward ICT use in Algeria. Additionally, the study attempted to investigate the relationship between teachers’ computer attitudes and five independent variables: personal characteristics, computer attributes, cultural perceptions, computer competence, and computer access. Mixed methods research was used to combine both quantitative and qualitative research methods. A questionnaire and semi-structured interview were used in order to collect the data. Both descriptive and inferential statistics as well as content analysis were conducted to analyse the data. The findings indicated that EFL teachers held positive attitudes toward ICT in education. There were statistically significant positive correlations between teachers’ attitudes toward ICT and the five aforementioned independent variables. It was also found that age and academic qualification had negatively correlated with attitudes. The results of this study give meaningful insights for educational practitioners and policy-makers in relation to the implementation of ICT for teaching and learning in the classroom. Finally, the study presented some implications for policy and practice and recommendations for further research that will enhance teachers’ use of ICT in their teaching practices.

The development of information and communication technology is now a major effect on manyaspects of life, even human behavior and activities are now a lot depends on the information andcommunication technology. One example is the use of technology in teaching and learning, namely withthe game. The game is already familiar to the students. When students are lazy to read books whilestudying, they are cool to play games. Therefore, the author makes an effective solution in learning sothat they are not lazy to study. This game was designed with the concept of 2D so it can be run onsmartphones that have lower specs. To build this game, the author uses Unity 3D 5.4. So, students canlearn with pleasure and do not get bored while studying.
