During the period of development of adolescents, each and every one of the processes that make them undergo constant changes, it is necessary as an educational institution to provide a space for them to identify with their peers, and in turn, allow them to manifest their skills, abilities and attitudes. We propose the space of the theater workshop as the appropriate environment for students to manifest their creative capacity, encouraging its strengthening, to later materialize in a staging, this can range from the generation of dialogues for a play, the creation of characters, to the construction of scenarios and objects that should appear in each scene. The importance of the fact that students can learn in a meaningful way within an artistic environment is emphasized, in addition to contributing to the formation and consolidation of a positive self-perception as an individual, student, artist and social subject.

The result is a greater number of admissions in the former category as compared to the latter. The question that arises is, What makes the top-ranking institutions a class apart? The answer is, the creation of the product that is a class apart. This chapter explores the establishment of the Noble Land Cadet Corps in St. Petersburg (1731), the most important educational institution for the nobility in Russia in the eighteenth century, in the context of court politics of the era. The creation of a military school and its design might be expected to naturally follow from the needs of the army. Instead, the chapter demonstrates that the Corps served as instrument for the self-promotion efforts of its ambitious founder, Field Marshal von Münnich, and that it is due to his unique standing at the court that the school enjoyed imperial patronage and received funding on a scale unimaginable under Peter I. Once established, the Corps became a platform for the enterprising efforts of its faculty and staff and, insofar as these were recruited largely through the Pietists networks, also for their pedagogical experiments that defined the educational profile of this elite school.

Central to Thomas Sprat's History of the Royal Society was the description and justification of the method adopted and advocated by the Fellows of the Society, for it was thought that it was their method which distinguished them from ancients, dogmatists, sceptics, and contemporary natural philosophers such as Descartes. The Fellows saw themselves as furthering primarily a novel method, rather than a system, of philosophy, and the History gave expression to this corporate self-perception. However, the History's description of their method was not necessarily accurate. Rather, as will be argued below, by a combination of subtle misrepresentation and selective exposition, Sprat portrayed a method which would further the aims of social and ecclesiastical stability and material prosperity, essential for the Royal Society since its continued existence depended upon the creation of a social basis for the institutionalized pursuit of natural philosophy. Some link had to be forged between the activities of the Society and the intellectual and social aspirations of the Restoration. To understand the intent and meaning of Sprat's History and the method there portrayed, we must therefore look to the institutional needs which it fulfilled.

Despite the fact that the integration model of education was introduced in Slovenia 17 years ago, the inclusion of persons with special needs into education and community remains a major challenge. In order to improve their opportunities, the largest special school in Ljubljana has for ten years organised an international festival Play with me, with the main aim of supporting inclusion of people with special needs with the rest of the population. The organisers aim to create opportunities for all to take part together in various play, sport and artistic activities. The paper presents the findings of a study in which the inclusive practices of the festival were researched and evaluated. The study was aimed at gaining a deeper understanding of the role a special school can play in the creation of a more inclusive society. Data were gathered using an online questionnaire targeting the mentors and volunteers who accompanied participants at the festival. 132 mentors and 64 volunteers responded. The quantitative non-experimental empirical analysis of the data has indicated that the respondents recognised the inclusive nature of the festival. The festival proves that inclusion is a multifaceted phenomenon which can be supported by various activities and endeavours.

The increasing fisibility of the children with disability or special needs enhanced the debate and efforts for a new philosohy related to the treatment‎ of disability problematics in general and, especially, to their education. The concept of diasbility has evolved to a model of integration and social inclusion, especially the social ‎inclusion of children with disability in common schools‎. The law 'On the protection from discrimination' prohibits discrimination on grounds of disability, and refusal of registration in an educational institution because of this ground. Furthermore, this law provides the obligation of statal institutions to take positive measures to make possible the enhance of education of vulnerable groups, including children with disability or special needs. These provisions would lack if not accompanied with the creation of a legal framework that explicitly provide for this inclusion philosophy and create the proper mechanisms to make it applicable. It is evident the indispensability of a multi-dimensional treatment of this problematic, that requires also the collaboration of many actors.‎ ‎The innovative stands just in the creation of mechanisms that would make possible such an inclusion. The appearance of the new federal educational standards for secondary vocational education has given rise to two tools: the WorldSkills competitive movement and the independent assessment of qualifications. Today, the state final certification should be conducted in the form of a defense of the final qualification work, in the form of a thesis (diploma project) and a demonstration exam, which requires specialized sites (equipped with modern technological equipment) that allow you to perform tasks that are provided for in the passport of competencies according to the WorldSkills model. This entails financial costs for educational organizations: either for the participation and use of a specialized site on the basis of a third-party organization, or for the creation of new competencies and the development of the material and technical base of their educational institution. The article describes the experience of the teachers of the Tikhoretsk Technical School of Railway Transport in developing competencies according to WorldSkills standards, as well as the problems and ways of developing championship lines in railway specialties.
