<p>This study aims to measure the akhlak index of state senior high school students in Central Java. This research is a quantitative survey of 1,202 state senior high school students in Central Java. The research findings show that akhlak is a physical activity as a manifestation of belief in carrying out the teachings of Islam. This student's akhlak limits itself to the activities of state senior high school students that are observed, not to things that are psychological. Based on the research, the akhlak index of state senior high school students in Central Java was 3.18. Of the five akhlakl dimensions (1) akhlak to Allah / Rasulullah is 2.82 (2) akhlak to oneself is 3.27 (3) akhlak to friends is 3.16 (4) akhlak to parents / teachers is 3, 40 (5) akhlak for the environment at 3.27. Of these five dimensions which are classified as low are akhlak towards Allah / Rasulullah.</p>

The purpose of the article is to check the effectiveness of pedagogical conditions of civic education of senior high school students on the basis of national traditions.  Various diagnostic methods were introduced, which made it possible to identify the effectiveness of applying the developed pedagogical conditions, to adjust the methodology for their further implementation. Attention was paid to comparing the results in the control group and the experimental one both on each criterion and on the array of criteria. The authors conclude that it is important to properly combine different research methods based on the research findings on checking the effectiveness of pedagogical conditions of civic education of senior high school students on the basis of national traditions. The significance of the article is that the criteria of the proposed pedagogical conditions in secondary schools will help to improve the process of civic education of senior high school students.

Nutritional status is a condition caused by a balanced between nutrient intake and nutritional requirements for metabolism. In Indonesia, the prevalence of overweight 15.1% and underweight 4.7%. This study aims to determine the relationship between physical activity and body image with nutritional status of students in senior high school of Yayasan Pupuk Kaltim Bontang. This study was an observational analytic with cross sectional study. The sampling procedure was purposive sampling according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The respondent of this study amounted to 262 students. The data collection being done with anthropometric measure to determine the nutritional status of students and using physical activity questionnaires to determine physical activity and body image questionnaires to determine body image. Based on bivariate analysis, there was no relationship between physical activity with nutritional status in senior high school students of Yayasan Pupuk Kaltim (p value = 1.00) and there was relationship between body image with nutritional status in senior high school students of Yayasan Pupuk Kaltim (p value = 0,000). There was 67.6% of students are normal nutritional status, 67.9% of students do moderate physical activity, and 56.5% of students with positive body image. There was not relationship between physical activity and nutrirional status and there was relationship between body image with nutritional status in senior high school students of Yayasan Pupuk Kaltim.

The study deals with the developing interactive media for senior high school students. The objective of this study is to find out how to develop interactive media for better speaking skill of senior high school students. The research was conducted by using Research and Development (R&D). The subject of this research was 2016/2017 students of the eleventh grade of Class XI IPA4 in SMAN 1 Batang Kuis. The number of the students was 30 students. The data of this study was collected by using need analysis questionnaire and experts’ judgment. Need analysis questionnaire was calculated by using percentage to get the information of students’ need before developing interactive media. Experts’ judgment was calculated by using likert data, mean and criteria interval of expert judgment to know the validity of interactive media which has been developed. After the data analyzed, it was found that the experts’ judgment result was 4.80 which had a very good criteria interval. The result of the research find that interactive media is a very good to be used in teaching speaking skill.
