The differences  of  views  about Islam is single or  plural impact on the debate on the use of terminology of Indonesia Islamic education. This  debate on terminology actually arose among the Muslims who have more understanding about the conception of Islamic education. Therefore, this  study aims to explore the attitudes of the academic community of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Science Teachers (FTIK) of the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Salatiga against the use of Islamic education terminology in Indonesia, so as to know the views of  respondents about Islam is single or plural. This research  uses quantitative descriptive research type. The population of this study are students of the third semester and the fifth semester at the State Islamic Institute (IAIN)  at Tarbiyah and Science Teachers (FTIK) Salatiga as many as 1763 respondents. Researcher took  355 samples of  respondents  with cluster random sampling technique. Data collection use questioner method. Data were  analyzed with descriptive  statistics. The data that has been collected then followed the stages of description, reduction, selection, discussion, analysis and conclusions. This research concluded that the majority of the academic community of the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Salatiga were disagree  with the terminology of Islamic education of Indonesia. They are more amenable to use the term Islamic education in Indonesia. This shows that the academic  community of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Science Teachers (FTIK)  of the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Salatiga views   that   Islam as   single rather   than plural. The study   also found  that  respondents who have more  understanding about the conception of Islamic education  who  reject the terminology   of  Islamic education in Indonesia  are greater  than   those   who   have less understanding of     the   conception   of  Islamic    education. Therefore, it   is   suspected  that   there is  a   negative   correlation  between  the   level   of   understanding of the concept of Islamic education with plurality attitude.

The historicity of the State Institute of Islamic Studies (IAIN) Pontianak actually brings us to an understanding that in fact IAIN Pontianak has so far taken part in preparing alumni who are skilled and competent in the field of Islamic religious sciences, such as Islamic education, Islamic law, and Islamic dakwa. This also signifies the responsibility of IAIN Pontianak in shaping the ‘considerate and tolerant understanding of religion’ and minimizing forms of religious radicalism on campus. This will be discussed further in this paper.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Capital Structure and Firm Size on Firm Value with Profitability as Intervening Variables. (Case Study on Manufacturing Companies in the Consumer Goods Industry Sector which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2018 Period). This research uses quantitative descriptive research type. Sample 27 companies using Purposive sampling technique. The analysis method uses path analysis with SPSS software version 21.Based on the test result min this study that the variable capital structure and company size have a positive and significant effect on profitability. Capital structure has no effect on firm value, firm size and profitability affect company value, and profitability is able to mediate the effect of capital structure and firm size on firm value. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan karena proses pembelajaran di laboratorium Biologi IAIN STS Jambi yang masih minim sarana prasarana yang ada di laboratorium, sehingga menghambat proses pembelajaran khususnya untuk mata kuliah Morfologi Tumbuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan buku ajar praktikum dan mengetahui praktikalitasnya. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan 4-D Models yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu Define, Design, Develop dan Disseminate. Karena adanya keterbatasan waktu dan biaya maka tahap disseminate tidak dilakukan. Produk yang dikembangkan berupa buku ajar praktikum yang divalidasi oleh validator. Produk yang telah divalidasi dan dinyatakan valid oleh validator, kemudian diujicobakan pada proses pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk melihat nilai praktis buku ajar praktikum di laboratorium Biologi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah data deskriptif untuk memvalidasi perangkat pembelajaran oleh pakar pendidikan. Selain itu juga diteliti data praktikalitas penggunaan perangkat pembelajaran ini yang diperoleh dari observasi dosen dan respon siswa. Nilai validitas produk 83,31% yang dikategorikan valid. Sementara nilai kepraktisan berdasarkan data observasi keterlaksanaan SAP, angket respon dosen dan siswa dikategorikan sangat baik atau sangat praktis. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran di Laboratorium Biologi yang dikembangkan adalah valid dan sangat praktis digunakan baik dosen maupun siswa. Kata Kunci : Pengembangan, buku ajar praktikum, laboratorium biologi Abstract [The development of a course book for plant morphology at biology laboratory] This research was triggered by the limited facilities of the biology laboratory at the State Institute of Islamic Studies Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi which became a constrain in the teaching and learning process of Plant Morphology classroom sessions. The objective of this research was to develop a course book as well as to reveal its practicality. The researcher did a research and development using 4-D Models consisting of four stages namely; define, design, develop, and disseminate. Considering the limitation of time and finance, the disseminate stage was not executed. The test revealed the validity score of the product was 83,31% which categorized as good. For its practicality, the product was considered as very good based on observation of lesson plan execution and lecturers’ and students’ response. In summary, the course book developed for the course at Biology Laboratory was categorized as valid and practical to be used by both students and lecturers. The purpose of this study is to find out how much Return On Investment (ROI) is to assess the financial performance of PT Mitra Investindo, Tbk. This type of quantitative descriptive research uses secondary data. Data collection techniques are documentation and literature study. Research population for 22 years from the start of listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 1997-2019. Then a sample of 10 years from 2010-2019 with purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used statistical analysis with a one-sample t-test. The results showed that the Return On Investment (ROI) to assess the financial performance of      PT Mitra Investindo, Tbk was in a bad condition because it was less than 30% of the expected.

This study aims to determine how the financial performance of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia through the islamicity performance index approach for the period 2013-2017, by the principles of justice, halalness, and purification. This study using quantitative descriptive research. The number of banks sampled are five Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia that have been selected, through a purposive sampling technique first. These banks are BRI Syariah, BNI Syariah, Mandiri Syariah, BCA Syariah, and Victoria Syariah. The type of data used is secondary data taken from the financial statements of each islamic commercial bank that is sampled. Through the islamicity performance index approach, the results of this study indicate that the financial performance of islamic commercial bank is unsatisfactory, based on the average of the variables that have been processed in accordance with predicate valuation standards.

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of personality on employee performance. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive research. Sampling technique using non probability sampling method with saturated sampling technique that is taking the entire amount of the population to be sampled that is a number of 30 respondents. Methods of data collection by interview, questionnaire and observation. For data analysis used simple linear regression. Based on the analysis of data processing that has been tested in this study stated valid and reliable. The result of simple linear regression equation is Y = 26,309 + 2,061X. Results of the hypothesis test are known to be> ttable> 5,025> 2.048. Coefficient of determination of 0.474. While the percentage of the magnitude of the influence between the variable personality and employee performance variables of 49.2% and the rest of 50.8% influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work commitment, supervision, and discipline on the quality of work of employees of PT. Bintang Saudara Semesta Jaya, either partially or simultaneously. This research approach is based on a quantitative approach. This type of research is a type of quantitative descriptive research. The population of this study are all employees of PT. Bintang Saudara Semesta Jaya, which based on data obtained in October 2021, totaled 61 employees from all divisions except managers. The sampling technique used a saturated sample so that the sample used was representative of the entire population, namely 61 people. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear analysis technique. Hypothesis testing by means of Simultaneous partial (t test), (F test), and coefficient of determination (R2). The results of the study indicate that there is effect of work commitment on the quality of work of employees at PT. Bintang Saudara Semesta Jaya. There is effect of supervision on the quality of work of employees at PT. Bintang Saudara Semesta Jaya. There is effect of discipline on the quality of work of employees at PT. Bintang Saudara Semesta Jaya. Simultaneously there are effect of work commitment, supervision, and discipline on the quality of work of employees at PT. Bintang Saudara Semesta Jaya. The results of the regression calculation can be seen that the coefficient of determination (R square) obtained is 0.409, this result means that 40.9% of the quality of work of employees can be explained by the work commitment, supervision, and discipline, while the remaining 59.1% is explained by other variables which is not researched. This study aims to determine students' understanding of the concept of environmental pollution material in the school of SMAN 4 Palembang. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The population of this study were all students of class XI MIPA SMAN 4 as many as 161 students. Sampling uses total sampling technique. Data collection techniques using test questions understanding  concepts. The results of the study based on the analysis carried out using the percentage level of understanding of students 'concepts showed that students' understanding of concepts in environmental pollution material at Palembang State High School 4 was at high criteria with an average value of 65%. Conclusion the students' conceptual comprehension ability in environmental pollution material at Palembang State High School 4 with the highest value is found in the classifying indicator of 86% with very high criteria, and the lowest indicator is in the concluding indicator which is equal to 48% with the criteria being.
