This study aims to determine the effect of profitability and growth on the value of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2017-2019 period. This paper involved the population is 189 companies with a total of 55 companies purposively selected as the samples. For the five-year data observation, we have collected 165 sample data. The multiple linear regression analysis shows that return on assets and company growth bring positive effects on company value. This implies that the level of profitability through return on assets and company growth realizes shareholder prosperity and improves company performance.

When observing the major financial problems that were revealed, the public questioned the performance of the big companies involved in this scandal, which contradicts the principles of Good Corporate Governance regarding accountability, equity, integrity, transparency and responsibility. This study aims to determine, test and explain the effect of the audit committee, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, on Return On Assets both partially and jointly in the food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014 to 2019. The sample was determined by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using literature study and observation. The method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of multiple linear analysis, it is found that Managerial ownership has a partial effect on ROA then Audit Committee Size and Institutional ownership partially have no effect on ROA, and simultaneously Audit Committee Size, Managerial Ownership and Institutional Ownership together have an effect on Return On Assets ( ROA). This study aims to determine the effect of Return on Assets (ROA), Debt to Total Assets (DAR), and Corporate Governance (CG) on tax avoidance in manufacturing companies listed on the IDX for the 2015-2019 period. Corporate Governance is proxied by the Composition of the Independent Commissioner, and Tax Avoidance is proxied by the Effective Tax Rate (ETR). The population in this study were 179 companies listed on the IDX. The sample selection used purposive sampling technique and the research sample was obtained as many as 60 companies. The data in this study are secondary data obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The data analysis used is descriptive analysis followed by the requirements test including normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and autocorrelation test. The statistical method used to analyze the data uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that Return on Assets (ROA) had a significant negative effect on tax avoidance. Meanwhile, Debt to Total Assets (DAR) and Corporate Governance (CG), which are proxied by the composition of the independent board of commissioners, have no effect on tax avoidance in manufacturing companies listed on the IDX for the 2015-2019 period.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to examine whether working capital variables, size, and capital structure affect the return on assets. The population in this study are manufacturing companies in various sub-sectors proposed in the Indonesia stock exchange in 2016-2018. The type of data used in this study is secondary data from the company's annual financial statements as a sample that is used and processed using SPSS 16.00. This research uses the classic assumption test and the data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show how working capital (ratio using current ratio, accounts receivable turnover, and net working capital), size, and capital structure (tested using a debt to equity ratio) are considered to compare asset returns.Keywords: working capital, size, capital structure, return on assets ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji apakah variabel modal kerja, ukuran, dan struktur modal berpengaruh terhadap return on assets. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur di berbagai sub sektor yang diusulkan di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2016-2018. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan tahunan perusahaan sebagai sampel yang digunakan dan diolah menggunakan SPSS 16.00. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji asumsi klasik dan metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bagaimana modal kerja (rasio menggunakan rasio lancar, perputaran piutang, dan modal kerja bersih), ukuran, dan struktur modal (diuji menggunakan rasio utang terhadap ekuitas) dipertimbangkan untuk membandingkan pengembalian aset.Kata kunci: modal kerja, ukuran, struktur modal, return on assets

This study aims to examine the effect of intellectual capital, growth and company performance on firm value with independent variables namely intellectual capital, company growth and company performance. This research uses a quantitative approach and the sample used is 32 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2013-2017 period which were obtained through a purposive sampling method. The analytical technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that the variable intellectual capital and company performance have a significant positive effect on the value of the company in manufacturing companies, this indicates that these two variables can be made by investors as a measure of investment in the company. Instead the growth variable of the company shows a non-significant negative effect on the value of the company, it can be interpreted that the growth of the company is not a consideration of investors to invest in the company. The purpose of this research was to examine the effect of intellectual capital on Return On Assets, Earning Per Share and Return On Equity. The population of this research is manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange the period 20122014, a total sample of companies amounted to 51 samples were taken by using purposive sampling method. The method of analysis in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that intellectual capital significant positive effect on ROA. This condition occurs because if the human resource capacity the better, it is expected to produce profitability Return on Assets increased. Intellectual capital is significant positive effect on EPS. This condition occurs because when intellectual capital is getting better, the public trust in the company, the better, so that the products or services offered by the company is accepted by the community and increasing revenue. Intellectual capital is significant positive effect on ROE. This study aims to examine the effect of return on assets, debt to equity ratio and earnings per share on stock prices at manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange. Data in this study, obtained from the financial statements of manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange. This study uses secondary data by way of observation by visiting the Capital Market Information Center (PIPM) Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the partial return on assets and earnings per share have a positive and significant effect on stock prices, while the debt to equity ratio has a negative and significant effect on stock prices

A high increase in company value is a long-term goal that must be achieved by a company, which is reflected in the market price of its shares because investors' assessment of the company can be seen through the movement of the stock prices of companies listed on the stock exchange. stock exchange for companies that have gone public. This has an impact on shareholders to maintain their investment and potential investors are interested in investing in the company. This study aims to analyze the effect of tax avoidance and dividend policy on firm value with leverage as a moderating variable. The population in this study were manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016 to 2018, totaling 166 companies, while the sample of this study was 18 companies with a purposive sampling method. The research method used is descriptive statistics, classic assumption testing and hypothesis testing multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that tax avoidance is not significant to firm value, dividend policy has a significant effect on firm value, leverage does not moderate tax avoidance on firm value, leverage. does not moderate dividend policy on firm value, and tax avoidance and dividend policy affect firm value

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of profitability, liquidity and leverage on the value of food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2019. The population used in this study was a food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2019 which amounted to 28 companies. Based on sampling techniques used purposive sampling obtained samples as many as 12 companies. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS application tools. The results of this study show that: (1) Profitability has a significant positive effect on the Company's Value. (2) Liquidity has no effect on the Company's Value. (3) Leverage has no effect on the Company's Value. (4) Profitability, Liquidity and Leverage simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the Company's Value. The purpose of this study is (1) to determine the effect of internal auditors on Company Performance (2) to determine the effect of internal controls on company performance. This research was conducted in 4 manufacturing companies in Sukoharjo regency. The number of respondents in this study is 50 respondents from 50 questionnaires that have been distributed. Respondents in this study are internal auditor staff who work in a company. The method used is purposive sampling method. Data analysis method uses multiple linear regression analysis and the process of using SPSS 22. Determination of the coefficient of adjusted R Squared testing results of 0.37 indicates that 37% of the company's performance variables can be explained by internal auditor and internal control variables, while 63% is explained by factors other than research. From the tests that have been carried out f test and t-test, the research shows that (1) internal auditors affect the company's performance as evidenced by comparing the value of t count> t table at a significant 5% is 2,175> 2,0129 (2) internal control affects the company's performance with the proof proved by comparing the value of t count> t table at 5% significant is 4,751> 2,0129.
