Background: Performance evaluation of accreditation schemes can improve the quality of hospital accreditation significantly. An effective accreditation system is one that performs the accreditation process properly and achieves acceptable results. Objective: This study aimed to design and validate the performance evaluation model of national accreditation schemes in hospitals. Materials and Methods: This study was performed in a mixed method. The performance evaluation dimensions of the national accreditation models for hospitals were identified, classified, and modeled using the qualitative research method. The quantitative aspect of the obtained model was tested using structural equation modeling. Results: All identified variables were classified into six dimensions including causal conditions, strategic conditions, axial phenomenon, context conditions, intermediary/interventional conditions, and consequence. The results of the quantitative part suggested that the proposed model had a good fit and its validity and reliability were confirmed. Conclusions: The results of the present study revealed that the performance evaluation model of national accreditation schemes in hospitals had a good fit and might be used as an effective model in accreditation organizations as a roadmap to better evaluate accreditation schemes, such as those used in hospitals.

PurposeMost industries have become increasingly competitive nowadays, and a good supply chain relationship is essential for a company to survive and to acquire reasonable profit. Therefore, supplier selection is very important. The purpose of this paper is to propose a novel model for evaluating the performance of suppliers.Design/methodology/approachA supplier performance evaluation model based on analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and data envelopment analysis (DEA) is constructed. DEA is applied first to evaluate quantitative factors, and the results are transformed into pairwise comparison values for AHP analysis. Qualitative factors are also evaluated through AHP analysis, and a final ranking of suppliers can be obtained by combining the quantitative and qualitative results.FindingsThe proposed model can be applied to evaluate and select the most appropriate integrated circuit packaging company for outsourcing. With the incorporation of experts' opinions and the consideration of qualitative and quantitative factors, the model can provide a both subjective and objective supplier performance ranking.Practical implicationsThe proposed model can be tailored and applied to supplier evaluation and selection in other industries.Originality/valueAlthough many models are available for supplier evaluation, this paper considers both the subjective and objective performance characteristics simultaneously in the evaluation process.

In order to give a comprehensive and objective evaluation of the work of construction enterprises and production safety, this article is based on the importance of production safety and service quality to explore the impact of construction factor of safety in production of construction enterprises. It uses the KPI theory to construct the four dimensions of management systems, construction equipment, and environmental conditions and other key performance indicators, and studies the structural equation theory to construct the SEM evaluation model, summarizing that the evaluation of the general program with examples from a quantitative point of view of safety performance evaluation. The results showed that the index system was built and SEM performance evaluation model can accurately evaluate the safety performance of the enterprise.

The purpose of this study is to ascertain the influence of price and promotion on brand equity, which eventually leads to the determination of consumer’s preference for a particular brand. This research aims to add value to the current field by testing this relationship under the influence of three other mediating dimensions including the brand image, brand loyalty and quality of the product. In order to test the proposed model, the Structural Equation Modeling technique was used in this study. Within this realm, the CFA and path analysis were used to assess the validity and reliability of the latent constructs. The results of the research revealed that the price and promotion of a particular product have a statistically significant relationship with its brand equity. The results also seem to reject the mediating effect of brand image, perceived quality and brand loyalty between price and brand equity. The relationship of promotion, however, does allow for mediation by the perceived quality of a brand, but rejects the other two hypotheses. A number of researchers in Pakistan have previously conducted research on brand equity, albeit using different predictors in different industries. It must be noted that this proposed model of price and promotion, and its effects on the brand equity has not been thoroughly tested in the Pakistani context. Hence, this study proves to be a preliminary basis for further research on the linkages between price, promotion actions and brand equity

Core self-evaluations have predictive value for crucial work outcomes. However, less attention is given to examine the relationship between employee core self evaluations and employee engagement. Based on trait activation theory present study propose a research framework that examines the relationship of employee core self evaluations with employee engagement accompanied by organizational culture as a moderator. It was assumed that employees core self evaluation traits significantly interacts with their perception about the organizational culture and produce valuable work outcome like employee engagement.  Confirmatory factor analysis was performed to demonstrate validity and reliability of proposed model and structural equation modeling was used to examine hypothesized model. The proposed model was supported empirically by data collected from 537 employees working in different branches of Pakistan Telecommunication Company limited (PTCL). The result indicated core self evaluations of employees as predictor of their engagement levels, also innovative and supportive organizational culture were found to have positive moderating effect on the relationship of employee core self evaluations with employee engagement.

Purpose : to evaluate the performance evaluation the indexes of general directorate of youth and sport of Guilan province by using the BSC approach. Material : This was a descriptive and field -based survey. The population included managers and experts from the general directorate of youth and sport of Guilan province. The purposive sampling was used. A questionnaire was used to collect data. Content validity and reliability were approved by experts Cronbach's alpha test (0.89) respectively. For data analyzing and model fitting the structural equation modeling (SEM) with PLS software was used. Results : performance evaluation model of general directorate of youth and sport of Guilan province has four factors, 12 dimensions and 55 indicators. So that learning and development factor has 4 dimensions and 13 indicators, internal processes have 4 dimensions and 23 indicators, financial factor has 2 dimensions and 7 indicators and customer and sport results have 2 dimensions 12 indicators. Internal processes, customer and sporting results, learning and development and financial factors had coefficients of factor loading of 0.91, 0.83, 0.81 and 0.80 respectively. Conclusion : We concluded that, in evaluating the performance of the organization, special attention should be paid on four studied terms and their confirmed dimensions and indicators. Based on the factor loading priority of activities and evaluation should be allocated to internal processes, customer and sporting results, learning and development and financial factors. So this index can be used to design a model to evaluate the performance of the general directorate of youth and sport of Guilan province.

This study introduces the Schoolwork Engagement Inventory (EDA), which measures energy, dedication, and absorption with respect to schoolwork. Structural equation modeling was used to assess the validity and reliability of the inventory among students attending postcomprehensive schools. A total of 1,530 (769 girls, 761 boys) students from 13 institutions (six upper-secondary and seven vocational schools) completed the EDA 1 year apart. The results showed that a one-factor solution had the most reliability and fitted best among the younger students, whereas a three-factor solution was most reliable and fit best among the older students. In terms of concurrent validity, depressive symptoms and school burnout were inversely related, and self-esteem and academic achievement were positively associated with EDA. Boys and upper-secondary-school students experienced lower levels of schoolwork engagement than girls and vocational-school students.

Cyberstalking is a growing anti-social problem being transformed on a large scale and in various forms. Cyberstalking detection has become increasingly popular in recent years and has technically been investigated by many researchers. However, cyberstalking victimization, an essential part of cyberstalking, has empirically received less attention from the paper community. This paper attempts to address this gap and develop a model to understand and estimate the prevalence of cyberstalking victimization. The model of this paper is produced using routine activities and lifestyle exposure theories and includes eight hypotheses. The data of this paper is collected from the 757 respondents in Jordanian universities. This review paper utilizes a quantitative approach and uses structural equation modeling for data analysis. The results revealed a modest prevalence range is more dependent on the cyberstalking type. The results also indicated that proximity to motivated offenders, suitable targets, and digital guardians significantly influences cyberstalking victimization. The outcome from moderation hypothesis testing demonstrated that age and residence have a significant effect on cyberstalking victimization. The proposed model is an essential element for assessing cyberstalking victimization among societies, which provides a valuable understanding of the prevalence of cyberstalking victimization. This can assist the researchers and practitioners for future research in the context of cyberstalking victimization.

The airline industry in Thailand has grown enormously over the past decade. Competition among airline companies to reach market share and profit has been intense, requiring strong strategic abilities. To increase the service quality of such companies, identifying factors related to the context of airlines is important for policymakers. Thus, this study aims to present empirical data on structural factors related to the loyalty of domestic airline passengers. Structural equation modeling was used to confirm the proposed model. The questionnaire was used to survey and collect data from 1600 airline passengers. The results indicate that satisfaction, trust, perceived quality, relationship, and image of airlines positively influenced loyalty with a statistical significance of α = 0.05. Moreover, the study found that expectation and perceived quality indirectly influenced loyalty. The findings provide a reference for airline operators to clearly understand the factors that motivate passenger loyalty, which can be used to develop the sustainability of marketing strategies and support competitiveness.
