- A vast and complex legislation for disabled and disadvantaged people regulates the work inclusion of psychiatric patients. However, the implementation of this legislation - particularly in the case of mentally distressed persons - is difficult to enforce, for inclusion requires continuity and collaboration, comprising: different local mental health and social services, the non-profit sector, and the companies that take on the new "social responsibility" of integrating disabled persons. Community networks are valuable resources for implementing work and social inclusion. Corporate social responsibility is a concept responding to climate change, environmental problems and the needs of stakeholders. Business makes an effort to act in the changing conditions, thus adapting to the expectations of the stakeholders and following the principles of sustainable economic development and social responsibility. One of the changes taking place in the current economic and social world is the change in the demographic structure of the population. The subject of the ageing population is often discussed, usually as a negative aspect in the context of changes in the pension system, health care costs or the employment conditions of older people. The principles of corporate social responsibility, such as social inclusion, anti-discrimination, and facilitating access to products and services create the basis for the development of the economy, focused on the use of the purchasing potential of older people. Thus, the perception of the demographic changes in this context becomes the ground for the formation of perspective solutions and the development of the silver economy. This model of the economy can be understood as a system which is based on adapting the production and distribution of products and services to older people. The main aim of this article is to present the challenges for companies in terms of the problems connected with an ageing population, as well as to present the main features of the concept of the silver economy in the context of corporate social responsibility. Moreover, considering the development of the silver economy, characteristics of older people as consumers should be taken into account. In this context, there are many stereotypes associated with the activities of the elderly. The article also notes the profile of potential customers of the silver economy, with a particular emphasis on the approach of the elderly to innovation, tradition and a broadly understood sense of security.

Corporate Social Responsibility and Zakat of Company in the Perspective of Islamic Economic Law. Awareness of social responsibility by companies (corporate social responsibility) is increasing today. Almost every company has a board focusing on social services. In the Islamic banking industry, this social responsibility gets serious attention. Internationally, the theme of territorial social responsibility, or territorial networks (CSR-oriented partnerships between local public and private partners) aimed to promote a model of sustainable economic growth, is still little noted. The movement of collective responsibility sees institutions and organisations (public and private, for profit and non-profit) participating in a form of economic development that is socially and environmentally sustainable. In these territories where deeply rooted actors are stimulated to cooperate for the responsible development of the productive system, their combined actions become an effective instrument in the sustainable government of the territory. Based on this consideration, the aim of our research is the evaluation of Italian local governmental initiatives to promote corporate social responsibility through public-private networks (specially focusing on the “Marche Region” case- study). Local governance based on the subsidiarity and the shared values of a spatial and socio-economic community can therefore be interpreted as a possible form of “managing publicly” which is focused on creating values and following the public interest, and operates through their motivations and values. This triggers a path of human governance in which participation, co-planning, and dialogue are not merely slogans but the modus operandi in actors’ processes of creating value.

Perusahaan pembangkit energi dikenal dengan operasi bisnisnya yang menimbulkan dampak negatif sosial dan lingkungan yang cukup massif. Oleh karena itu perusahaan perlu melaksanakan tindakan mitigasi untuk mereduksi dampak negatif tersebut melalui program CSR. Efektivitas program CSR penting dievaluasi untuk mengetahui apakah dapat menghadirkan dampak sosial-lingkungan positif secara signifikan atau tidak. Salah satu metode evaluasi dampak yang populer digunakan oleh lembaga non-profit di berbagai negara adalah metode Social Return on Investment (SROI). Namun masih sedikit penelitian empiris yang dilakukan untuk memberikan bukti implementasi metode ini dalam konteks evaluasi program CSR. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisi kesenjangan yang ada dengan memberikan bukti empiris implementatif dan modifikasi kecil pada metode SROI untuk evaluasi CSR. Lebih lanjut penelitian ini juga memberikan kontribusi praktikal dengan menyediakan gambaran bagi perusahaan pembangkit energi untuk dapat mengukur efektivitas program CSR menggunakan metode SROI. Hasil pengukuran dapat menjadi dasar optimasi program CSR perusahaan. Dalam studi kasus Perusahaan Pembangkit Energi “Y”, hasil perhitungan SROI menunjukkan bahwa program CSR yang dilakukan “cukup efektif” dengan total dampak positif yang ditimbulkan sebesar Rp. 2,69 untuk tiap rupiah yang diinvestasikan. Namun, Perusahaan “Y” cenderung banyak melakukan aktivitas yang berdampak sosial dan minim aktivitas yang berdampak positif terhadap lingkungan.Abstrak[A Study of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program Effectiveness: A Case Study in Energy Company “Y”]  Energy companies are known for their massive impacts on the social and environmental condition. Hence, they must conduct mitigation actions for reducing the negative impacts through CSR programs. A continuous evaluation of CSR programs effectiveness is crucial to understand whether they can bring significant social-environmental returns or not. One of the most popular methods of impact evaluation utilized by non-profit organizations is Social Return on Investment (SROI). However, only a few empirical research provides evidence for the implementation of this method in the context of CSR program evaluation. Therefore, this research aims to address this hiatus by giving empirical evidence on SROI implementation and incremental modification for CSR evaluation. Furthermore, this research also provides practical contributions by depicting how an energy company can measure its CSR program utilizing SROI. The measurement result can be used as guidance for optimizing the company’s CSR program. In our case study of Power Generator Company “Y”, the SROI calculation shows that the CSR program is “effective” with a total return Rp 2.69 for each rupiah invested. Cause-related marketing (CRM) is currently considered one of the main initiatives of corporate social responsibility (CSR). CRM programs offer numerous advantages for all the parties involved: companies, non-profit organizations, and consumers. Examples of CRM programs can be found in virtually every country in the world. Although most CRM campaigns succeeded, several of them were involved in some scandals. In Spain, an example of the controversy caused by CRM campaigns resurfaced with the installation of the so-called “solidarity traffic radar.” The aim of this chapter is to offer a case study about this campaign, where a private company managed this traffic radar. Half of the money that was raised in fines was given to the Town Council, which in turn decided to donate it to needy local families, that is, it was allocated to social aid. Thus, this case study discusses if anything goes in CRM, or there is sometimes a trivialization of solidarity.

Each year, corporations have been donating millions of dollars for non-profit organizations in order to fulfil their duty towards society, and companies are engaging in many approaches in order to strengthen their relationship with consumers. One of these is corporate social responsibility (CSR). The purpose of this chapter is to consolidate an understanding of real-world business practices with an academic research perspective and to inform the reader on the developments in CSR practices in the digital environment. With this purpose, a descriptive research is adopted that will include a content analysis of the companies that will be selected from the list of Fortune 500 in Turkey, and the data from the web pages of the top 100 companies will be analysed. The results indicate that large Turkish companies are lagging behind global companies with regards to digitalisation of CSR practices and institutionalisation of their CSR practices when compared to the corporations in developed countries.

Corporate social responsibility is neccessity to every corporate. Islamic banking is requirement every shariah bank to doing social services in human resource development and contribution donation with care and maintenance environment. The basic of shariah bank can be exist in UU.No.21 Tahun 2008 Pasal 4. The kind of this research is explanatory research. This research have four variable, that is financing (X1), cash (X2), profit (Y1) and corporate social responsibility (Y2). The populations in this research is an shariah bank listed in Bank of Indonesia until year of 2010. That hipotesys examination have path analyzis with Partial Least Square. The yield research can know that endogen variable have a significant influences to exsogen variable. Authentification this research with values of t-value is more bigger than t-tabel. The details is financing (X1) to profit (Y1) with value of 5,136>1,734 ; cash (X2) to profit (Y1) with value of 2,237>1,734; financing (X1) to corporate social responsibility (Y2) with value of 3,031>1,734 ; profit (Y1) to corporate social responsibility (Y2)with value of 4,053>1,734 and cash (X2) to corporate social responsibility (Y2) with value of 3,052>1,734.
