Motorcycles are type of vehicles with the highest accidents percentage every year. The location away from the settlement and the time of the accident is one of the factors that slow down the spread of information about accidents. This study aims to make a tool that can send such information in the form of notifications and crash site points to the victims’ families. Testing was conducted by looking at the sensor response detecting tilt on the motorcycle against the large reading angle. Furthermore, GPS module accuracy testing is conducted in reading the location by comparing GPS module readings with actual location points in Google apps Maps which is then calculated by using the Haversine Formula method up to gsm module capability testing for send SMS notifications in the form of latitude, longitude, and links that can connect to the Google Maps app. Based on the results of the trials and analyses that have been conducted, the slope sensor response area to transmit crash notification is <=50° or >=50°. After that, the GSM module will send notifications and location points detected by the GPS module with an average reading difference of 2.97 meters.

Digital Image processing implementation can be applied to identify medicinal leaves, because it can help the elderly and people with color-blindness in identifying medicinal leave to be consumed and in avoiding reading errors, since some leaves have similar shape and color . In this discussion, the feature-extractions are using color and shape features, and using Levenberg-Marquardt for pattern recognition algorithm. The success of this medicinal plant identification system resulted in fairly good accuracy. The backpropagation network architecture used two hidden layers with 10 and 5 neurons. Data training is using 60 training leaf images with 15 images each of 5 types: green betel leaf, red betel, soursop, castor and aloe vera. Then, offline testing is using 20 test images for each of 4 images from 5 types with the accuracy of 85%. Meanwhile the online (realtime) test is using 20 times for each leaf types so the accuracy is 88%.

Carbon dioxide is gas produced by industrial pollution and motor vehicle exhaust emissions. The air is declared clean and healthy for human activities if the CO level does not exceed 15 ppm. Industrial pollution or motor vehicle pollution does not only pollute the outdoor air, but it is very likely to pollute the indoor air. For this reason, a system that is able to monitor and control CO levels in the room has been designed so that it is safe for users while doing this activities. The research stage is carried out by making a series of sensors to detect CO gas and then the sensor circuit is connected to the Arduino UNO microcontroller as an interface with a PC. The program used is LabVIEW programming as a neural programming for displaying Virtual Instruments as display media. The output system is an air purifier system that cleans the indoor air when the CO level is more than 15 ppm. Based on the results of trials and analyzes, the response of the sensor system is able to detect changes in CO gas within 7 seconds. The average monitoring of CO levels result when observed 30 times was 11.47 ppm. The air purifier response time is able to restore indoor CO levels to the maximum threshold of 15 ppm in the fastest time of 3 minutes and 22 seconds.

Electricity is an energy that is very important in all aspects of people's life. PT. PLN (Persero) as a provider and supplier of electrical energy in Indonesia, is absolutely required to supply electricity to the community properly. One of the efforts to do this is to ensure the appropriateness and reliability of the equipment used in the electric power transmission system by carrying out routine testing and maintenance. The equipment that plays a vital role in the electric power transmission system is the Circuit Breaker (CB) because it functions as a mechanical switch used to cut off the flow of the load current which plays an important role when a disturbance occurs to protect other equipment from damage. Therefore, the reliability of this CB must always be maintained. In this study, tests were carried out four times on the CB 150 kV Mandirancan I contacts by measuring the synchronization of working time for open, close, reclose, and OCO (Open - Close - Open) contacts using a Breaker Analyzer measuring instrument. The test results show an anomaly in terms of the synchronization of the contacts, where one of the contacts works faster when it closes due to the longer pull of the motor than the other contacts. To overcome this, it is recommended to reset the Motor Run Limit Switch PMT so that the length of time the motor works is similar in all of its contacts.

A fire in a building or office is one of the main cases that is currently being serious attention for businessmen and government agencies. Considering there are no activities in an office during nights and holidays, makes the business owners feel uncomfortable leaving the office. To overcome this problem, a sensor is to monitor a situation in the office whether there is a gas leak or a hotspot. It is hope that air pollution and fire monitoring tool can help to prevent fires. The way this tool works uses the Arduino Uno to retrieve data from the gas sensor and flame sensor. The data will be sent to the Ubidots server via NodeMCU ESP8266 as wifi or the internet. The monitoring display can be seen via Android and when there is an emergency, the ubidots server will immediately notify the room owner. The result shows that the effective distance of the sensor is around 10cm to 50 cm and the overall system runs well

Two parallel converters DC/AC with isolated control can be applied by a high frequency transformer with a switching pattern. However, the switching pattern and control technique of the converter needs more research so the process of electrical energy distribution on the parallel output side can produce the optimum value. Furthermore, in this research, parallelization method is applied by utilizing two converters in high frequency transformer with multi input-single output capability controlled by Matlab/Simulink. The input side of transformer consists of two full bridge converters while secondary side represents the parallelization of output side. Two converters DC/AC is simulated by phase shifted full bridge (PSFB) of switching pattern and voltage mode control (VMC) technique. The distribution condition of optimum energy is investigated by observation of influences of ON condition duration of each switching period cycle on input converter to ON condition duration of secondary transformer terminal. The ON condition duration of each converter with switching PSFB is the condition depends on shifted/delay phase of signal on gate control. According to this simulation, optimum ON condition occurs when shifted/delay phase of each gate control signal converter is 135° (α1=α2=135°) and this condition is more efficient than phase of gate control signal is 45° (α1=α2=45°). The simulation results show that larger α of converters give the optimum distribution.

Washing hands is an activity that should be routinely carried out by every individual, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic like today. There are many factors that make someone feel lazy and don't want to wash their hands, one of which is not wanting to be bothered by hand washing activities such as taking soap, turning the faucet and others. Experiments have been carried out in the form of testing the response of the sensor to detect the user's hand based on the distance and the reading angle. Furthermore, the ability to set the delay time for rubbing hands is tested to activate the water tap pump for rinsing. Based on the results of trials and analyzes carried out, the sensor response is obtained at a minimum distance of 4 cm and a maximum distance of 140 cm with a view or response area of 1100 horizontal positions and 850 in the vertical position. The water pump and soap pump are active for 3 seconds when the user's hand is detected by the sensor approaching the end of the water tap. The water tap pump comes back on after being delayed for 23 seconds, and the system is able to operate 100% automatically. Thus the minimum time for users to rub their hands for 20 seconds according to health standard protocols can be met.
