This study aims to explore the perceptions of accounting lecturers on academic fraud in terms of the theory of moral development and the professional code of ethics of lecturers. This study uses qualitative methods with an interpretive approach, using interviews and observation as data collection techniques. The accounting lecturer for ethics courses was chosen as a resource person to obtain his opinions regarding moral values and academic fraudulent activities in the university environment. The findings of this study indicate that the perceptions of accounting lecturers are aligned with the theory of moral development and the professional code of ethics of lecturers, but the problems of the campus internal system are the main problem in fixing cultural culture of deviant behavior. In conclusion, the balance of soft skill and hard skills education must be grown with religious teachings and character by educators.

The university is one of the producers of prospective workers who have an important influence in determining the success of the workforce in pursuing their career path. The university is expected to be able to produce qualified workforce candidates, ready to use, and have hard skills and soft skills. This study aims to analyze the learning methods of the Student Soft Skill Development (S3D) program conducted at Faculty of Industrial Technology, Islamic University of Indonesia. S3D is one of the programs implemented with the aim of developing soft skills possessed by students. This study uses the literature review method where the researcher reads, understands, and compares literature from various sources with the object under study. The conclusion of this research is S3D learning method is in accordance with the theory and the results of other studies regarding soft skills education.

This study was conducted to determine the effect of the application of case studies on knowledge of violations of the professional code of ethics in the IT field for students majoring in Mechanical Systems Automation. The research method used was an experiment with the design of "one shot case study". The study was conducted on students who program Professional Ethics courses majoring in Mechanical Systems Automation.  The results of this study indicate that the value of students after doing a case study has increased. This shows that the case study method in this learning is appropriate to use.

AbstractLife-skills education is an educational model that builds hard skills and soft skills in an integrated way. Strengthening students' soft skills will strengthen the hard skills and vice versa. Characterized person is one who is able to keep upright the soft skills and hard skills as an attitude and a behavior in society. Child Friendly Teaching Model (CFTM) is a model that will build life skills to deal with four pillars of the Child Rights Convention, namely non-discrimination, best interests of the child; the rights to life and development; the right be heard and express its views, by strengthening of 3Ps (Provision , Protection, and Participation). This model endorses children to be met early in the child's rights to live, grow, develop and participate optimally in accordance with human dignity. Life skills education can be done through: 1) habituating in the school and classroom environment, 2) manipulating the content of the materials, 3) correcting and reinforcing behavior, and 4) manipulating the learning activities. Learning activities that have a nurturing effect on building character are collective, interactive, cooperative, and reflective learning with respect to children's rights through the strengthening of 3Ps.Key Words: Life Skills, Hard Skills, Soft Skills, Character Education, CFTMAbstrakLife-skills education adalah model pendidikan yang membangun hard skills dan soft skills secara terintegrasi. Penguatan soft skill siswa akan menguatkan hard skillsnya demikian juga sebaliknya. Orang yang berkarakter adalah orang yang mampu menyeimbangkan soft skill dan hard skills dalam bersikap dan berperilaku dalam masyarakatnya. Child Friendly Teaching Model (CFTM) adalah sebuah model pendidikan yang akan membangun kecakapan hidup siswa dengan meperhatikan empat pilar. Konnvensi Hak Anak yaitu non-diskriminasi; kepentingan terbaik bagi anak ; hak untuk hidup dan berkembang; hak untuk mengemukakan pendapat, melalui penguatan 3P (Provision, Protection, dan Participation). Melalui model ini, anak sejak dini diharapkan akan terpenuhi hak hak anak agar dapat hidup, tumbuh, berkembang dan berpartisipasi secara optimal sesuai dengan harkat dan martabat kemanusiaan. Pendidikan kecakapan hidup dapat dilakukan melalui: 1) pembiasaan di lingkungan sekolah dan kelas; 2) memanipulasi isi materi; 3) penguatan dan koreksi perilaku; dan 4) memanipulasi aktifitas pembelajaran. Aktivitas pembelajaran yang mempunyai nurturing effect terhadap pembentukan karakter adalah aktivitas pembelajaran yang bersifat kolektif, interaktif, kooperatif, dan reflektif dengan memperhatikan hak-hak anak melalui penguatan 3P.Kata Kunci: Life Skills, Hard Skills, Soft Skills, Pendidikan Karakter, CFTM

Introduction: Student Centered Learning (SCL) is an effective method to develop student's soft skills and hard skills which are very important to support their successful carrier later. This research was conducted to identify the differences of developed soft skills between students who learn with PBL method and lecturing method. Methods: Descriptive comparative method was used in this study. The samples consisted of 15 students who learned with PBL method and 15 students who learned with lecturing method. The sample for this research was selected by random sampling method. Results: The result showed that the average of student's soft skills score in PBL method was 122.63, while student's soft skills score in lecturing method was 116.27. Discussion & Conclusion: There was significant difference of student's soft skills in PBL method and lecturing method (p value = 0.038; α = 0.05). This study recommends nursing program management, faculty of medicine at the University of Syiah Kuala keeps PBL method running and develops other methods which facilitate hard skills and soft skills are development. Keywords: nursing students, soft skill, PBL

Research is considered a function aimed at obtaining new knowledge and its application for the solution to problems or questions of a scientific nature, The universities framed in the fulfillment of their social function have a complex task given by training a competent professional who assumes research as part of their training and who learns to ask questions that they are able to solve through scientific research.  Scientific research is an indicator of the quality of processes in the university environment, so it must be increased by virtue of the results of the work carried out by research teachers and students the objective of this work is to know the perception of the teachers of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the University of Guayaquil about the scientific activity. Objective: to know the perception of the teachers of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the University of Guayaquil about the scientific activity. Methods: theoretical and empirical level were used, a questionnaire with closed questions aimed at knowing the opinions on the research activity in this institution was applied. Result: that of the sample analyzed 309 (39.3%) said they agreed with the training for the writing of scientific articles. 38.6% said they agree with the training on research projects. Conclusion: that teacher’s research should be enhanced to ensure the formation and development of research skills in students.
