This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational commitment on the organizational performance of Bank Aceh Syariah by involving turnover intention as an intervening variable. The research sample consisted of 206 employees of the bank's operational head office. Data collection using a questionnaire and then the structural equation model is applied to analyze the functional relationship between variables. The study found that organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on organizational performance, and a negative and significant impact on turnover intention. Furthermore, turnover intention has a negative and significant effect on organizational performance. The existence of turnover intention as an intervening variable exacerbates the effect of organizational commitment on the bank's organizational performance.

This research aims at analyzing (1) the effect of vendor’s ability, benevolence, and integrity variables toward e-commerce customers’ trust in UBM; (2) the effect of vendor’s ability, benevolence, and integrity variables toward the level of e-commerce customers’ participation in Indonesia; and (3) the effect of trust variable toward level of e-commerce customers participation in UBM. This research makes use of UBM e-commerce users as research samples while using Likert scale questionnaire for data collection. Furthermore, the questionnaires are sent to as many as 200 respondents. For data analysis method, Structural Equation Model was used. Out of three predictor variables (ability, benevolence, and integrity), it is only vendor’s integrity that has a positive and significant effect on customers’ trust. On the other hand, it is only vendor’s integrity and customer’s trust that have a positive and significant effect on e-commerce customers’ participation in UBM. Keywords: e-commerce customers’ participation, ability, benevolence, integrity

The role Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) play in achieving a better organizational performance still needs further analysis among small and medium sized enterprises (SME) from developing countries. This study aims to extend the empirical literature on the relationship between ICT, electronic commerce and SME performance in developing countries. To achieve this goal, we employ a sample of 87 manufacturing firms from the city of Bahía Blanca, Argentina in the year 2015. By estimating a structural equation model, we obtain that electronic commerce adoption has a positive and significant influence on SME sales which is reinforced by the level of ICT use. Other organizational factors such as firm size and public programs explain performance, but are not significant predictors of the electronic commerce adoption.

Lecturer performance is related to the quality of educators that are owned by a university. Poor performance will affect the quality and carrying capacity of the sustainability of an organization, in this case the university. There are many models developed to measure the performance of teachers, but not much to discuss the influence of faculty performance itself towards sustainability of an organization that houses the professor. This study was conducted in an attempt to measure the performance of lecturers to support the sustainability of the university. A faculty performance assessment model is developed to see whether the performance of lecturers affect the sustainability of the university. The method used is descriptive and verification of data sample of 275 private university lecturers in Banten Province. Application of Structural Equation Model (SEM) was used to test the model and estimate hypothesis using LISREL Results showed that leadership, motivation, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment affect positively and significantly to the performance of lecturers either partially or together with a contribution of 84%. The perception of organizational commitment variable was high which is good. In addition, responsibility for the improvement of organizational performance based on indicators of commitment to the organization ranked highest score of the respondent's perception. This showed that the lecturers were highly committed to the organization which is a great asset in the process of sustainability of an organization. In addition to the score of a continuing commitment to the organization shows lecturers should continue to be fostered in order to maintain the quality of organizational performance. This study shows that the performance of lecturers can support the sustainability of the organization

PurposeThis paper seeks to propose a conceptual structural equation model to investigate the relationships among human resource management (HRM), organizational learning (OL), knowledge management capability (KMC) and organizational performance (OP) and to demonstrate the direct and indirect effect of HRM on OP from the perspectives of KMC and OL.Design/methodology/approachAn empirical study is conducted in financial training centers in Taiwan and the collected survey data are used to test the relationships among the four dimensions expressed in the proposed structural equation model.FindingsThe results show that HRM has a direct and significant impact on OL and KMC. HRM influences OP indirectly through OL and KMC. In addition, OL and KMC have direct and significant influences on OP.Research limitations/implicationsOnly data from Taiwan were collected. Therefore, the results may not be easily generalized to other areas or countries, but are useful for managers' reference, especially for those whose circumstances are similar to those in Taiwan.Practical implicationsThe conceptual structural equation model provides useful information for managers to enhance OP through the adoption of appropriate HRM, OL and KMC policies.Originality/valueThe study demonstrates how HRM indirectly impacts OP and illustrates the paths of influence through either OL or KMC.

Abstract Background: Global countries are suffering from a shortage of health professionals, turnover intention is closely related to job satisfaction and burnout, making good use of these relationship could alleviate the crises. Methods: This research was conducted in Huangpi, China. Convenience sampling methods and self-designed questionnaires was used. 1370 of valid samples were collected with 97.72% effective rate. Descriptive analyses were conducted to describe social demographic factors. The structural equation model (SEM) was performed to adjust model fitting, and the mediation effect test was carried out by using the bootstrap method. Sobel-Z test was used to verify the significance of mediation effect. Results: The mean age was 36.98 (SD=9.84). The fitting indices of hypothetical model is not good. After the adjustments, for job satisfaction, turnover intention and burnout, the Cronbach’s is 0.976, 0.910, 0.879, respectively. 2/df =5.590, GFI=0.932, AGFI=0.901, CFI=0.977, NFI=0.973, IFI=0.977, TLI=0.970, RESEA=0.058. The revised model fitted well, and the SEM was put up by using the bootstrap method. The mediating effect is partial, and Soble-Z test indicates that the mediation effect is significant. Burnout is negatively correlated with job satisfaction (p<0.01) and the standardized path coefficient is -0.41. Job satisfaction is also negatively correlated with turnover intention (p<0.01) and the standardized path coefficient is -0.18. Burnout is positively correlated with turnover intention (p<0.01) and the standardized path coefficient is 0.83. Conclusions: Job satisfaction is a mediating variable that affects the relationship between burnout and turnover intention. Turnover intention was negatively related to job satisfaction and positively related to burnout, job satisfaction was negative related to burnout. And the mediation effect has a low impact of 7.4%.
