The study was undertaken to evaluate some chemical parameters of powder milk available in Mymensingh town. Powder milk samples of six different brands namely Kwality, NIDO, Diploma, Anchor, Farmland & Starship were collected from local market. Powder samples were analyzed to know the chemical (PH, acidity, fat, protein, lactose, ash, moisture, solids-not-fat, total solids) characteristics. PH, acidity of all samples was almost similar to the cow milk  when the dried milk was reconstituted. PH ranged from 6.6-6.8, acidity from 0.10-0.15, fat from 26.198-27.89 g/100 g,  protein from 25.22-27.01 g/100g, lactose from 36.63-37.65 g/100g, ash from 5.34-5.48 g/100g, moisture from 3.36-4.48 g/100g, solids-not-fat from 67.99-70.07 g/100g, total solids from 95.51-96.63 g/100g, among the brands of powder milk. Statistical analysis showed significant variation for (PH and acidity) among different powder milk brands. chemical parameters in all brands of milk powder was found as per recommended standard. Peanuts may be consumed in a variety of processed forms like roasted, raw and processed etc. andrepresent as a multimillion dollar crop worldwide with many potential dietary benefits as it contains highprotein and health effective oils. Objective: The present investigation was planned to evaluate thephysio-chemical properties of peanut milk yogurt by the addition of different concentration of peanut milk(0 %, 10 %, 20 % and 30 %), skimmed milk liquid (60 %, 70 %, 80 %, and 90 %), skimmed milk powder (9 %)and sugar (1 %). Methods: The physio-chemical tests (pH, acidity, moisture, ash, fat, protein, syneresis,and viscosity) were examined after every 5 days of interval for a period of 15 days at 4 ºC. Results: Theresults of physio-chemical analysis revealed that pH, ash, fat, protein and viscosity decrease duringstorage period where as acidity, moisture and rate of syneresis increased during storage. Treatment T1(10 % peanut milk) was comparatively best for manufacturing of peanut milk yogurt followed by T2 (20 %peanut milk + 70 % skimmed milk liquid + 9 % skimmed milk powder + 1 % sugar) while peanut milk yogurtfrom (30 % peanut milk + 60 % skimmed milk liquid + 9 % skimmed milk powder + 1 % sugar) had the lowestdegree of firmness. Conclusions: It was noticed that correlation among fat, total solids and proteincontents in peanut milk affect the extent of serum separation and pH of yogurt. The storage hadsignificant effects on all physio-chemical parameters. Treatments had significant effect on all physiochemicalparameters.

The present study was conducted to know the chemical qualities and adulteration of fresh raw milk collected from local markets (Bhangnamari bazaar, Sutiakhali bazaar, Vabokhali bazaar, Shombhuganj bazaar and Mymensingh sadar bazaar) of Mymensingh sadar, Bangladesh. Milk samples were analyzed for chemical parameters (contents of acidity, total solids, solids-not-fat, fat, protein and ash) and adulteration (presence of formalin, sugar or starch). Also, lactometer reading was recorded to monitor the specific gravity of the collected milk samples. Result showed that the specific gravity of milk from different sources differed non-significantly. The total solids, fat and protein contents of all the samples were in normal range except the milk fat content collected from Shombhuganj bazaar (32.66±4.04 g/Kg) and Mymensingh sadar bazaar (30.66±4.51 g/Kg) which had less (p<0.01) than the minimum legal standard of milk fat (35.00 g/Kg). The solids-not-fat content of the milk samples collected from Bhangnamari bazaar (72.93±8.78 g/Kg) and Vabokhali bazaar (79.33±6.81 g/Kg) were less than that from Mymensingh sadar bazaar (95.67±11.72 g/Kg). Developed acidity was detected in the samples from Bhangnamari bazaar (0.180±0.03), Sutiakhali bazaar (0.187±0.04%) and Mymensingh sadar bazaar (0.180±0.02%), while other samples were found to the fresh (0.150-0.157%). All of the adulteration tests showed negative results. The results suggested that though there were some fluctuations in quality among the bazaars regarding the standard of parameters, the raw milk samples were of acceptable quality.Bang. J. Anim. Milk is an important elements due to its high nutritious and balanced in human diet. In Asian, goat milk is the most consumed because of the unique taste, more nutritious than cow milk. However, milk production and composition values differ at every stage of lactation in goats. Thus, determining the highest milk production and producing the best quality goat milk is essential to satisfy the local market demands. The objective of the present study is to determine the milk yield and milk composition at different lactation stages and to evaluate the lactation curves in Saanen goats. The lactation stages can be categorized into three, early (less than 80 days), mid (80 – 140 days) and late (over 140 days) days in milk (DIM). In total, 90 milk samples were collected from 15 goats representing early (n=5), mid (n=5), and late (n=5) stages of lactation. The Saanen goats were raised under the same conditions, and milking was done early in the morning (9.00am).The milk yield from Saanen goats were collected and measured weekly at each stage of lactation. Milk samples were analyzed for fat, protein, solid non-fat, and lactose. Current result illustrated, there were significant different (p ˂ 0.05) among three stages of lactation in milk yield, solid non-fat, fat, protein and lactose. In terms of food regulation, the Saanen goats almost fully met the standard requirements for milk production and composition. In addition, this study also observes the lactation curves in Saanen goats and analyse the curve shapes and patterns. The average milk yields from three different stages develops a concave downward curve. The results indicated that mid yield increased from early to mid- lactation and decreased thereafter until the end of lactation.

<b>The results of a comparative study of the effectiveness of plant biostimulators “Biosvit” and “Megasvit” on changes in the physicochemical composition of milk, which was obtained from dairy cows of the Ukrainian black-and-white dairy breed, kept in Ltd “Renaissance +1881” Zolochivskyi district of Kharkiv region are reflected in the article. There were used 2 biological batches in our studies. One batch of the biological product was made on the basis of a dry mixture, which is called ‘11-Tigers by “Eleven Tigers Herbal Bar Energizer” and consists of seven species of plants of foreign origin. The other type is based on a dry mixture of 7 plants of domestic origin. Biologicals “Biosvit” and “Megasvit” experimental groups of animals (D 1) and (D 2) were injected subcutaneously at the rate of 3-4 mg of active substance per 1 kg of the body weight (on average 15 ml) per 1 animal. Biologicals were injected to the above animals five times, every 72 hours. Milk samples, taken from the formed groups of cows, were monitored for physico-chemical parameters. It was carried out that under the influence of two types of drugs “Biosvit” and “Megasvi” the productivity of cows in experimental groups increased, and in the milk samples from the cows in these groups (D 1) and (D 2), there was an increase in mass fraction: fat by 0,19 and 0,2%; protein by 0,15 and 0,16%; lactose by 0,13 and 0,14%; dry matter by 0,35 and 0,45%, skimmed milk powder by 0,15 and 0,19%, protein by 0,16 (P ≥ 0,95) and 0,28% respectively, compared with the control group of cows (K(controlled)). It can be noted that under the influence of the biological product “Megasvit” there was a more significant increase in the mass fraction of fat by 0,11%; protein by 0,25%, compared with similar indicators of the biological product “Biosvit”.

This manuscript presents the results of development and adoption of the confirmatory UPLC- MS/MS method for determination of sulfonamides and trimethoprim residues in whole and powdered cow's milk samples. Sample preparation includes a recovery with water (in the case of milk powder), separation of milk fat by centrifugation at 4 °C, proteins precipitation with acetonitrile using ultrasonic intensification, extraction of analytes with a two-component mixture of organic solvents from weak acidic phosphate buffer solution, concentration of obtained extracts, degreasing and reconstitution with the mobile phase. The use of tandem-mass spectrometric detector in multiple reaction monitoring mode provides high specificity for all ten sulfonamides, which molecules contain the same structural elements, and trimethoprim, as three ion transitions were used for each of the target analytes. The approach of matrix matched calibration on the milk matrix was applied, and it allowed us to disregard taking into consideration the absolute extraction of analytes during sample preparation, as well as the influence of sample matrix components on analytes ionization. The main advantages of the developed technique are simplicity, rapidity and cost effective sample preparation, fast procedure of sample analysis (the time of chromatographic separation is 2.0 min), high selectivity, and sensitivity at the level of ≤ 0.5 μg/kg (as compared with the maximum residues level of sulfonamides in dairy products, viz. 100 μg/kg). According to the European Commission Decision 2002/657/EC, the values of CCα and CCβ for sulfonamides and trimethoprim in milk were calculated. The capability of the method was confirmed on the basis of the established validation parameters, using spiked milk samples and "added – found" approach. The method was tested during the analysis of spiked samples of whole and powdered cow's milk (CV ~ 20%). The developed technique was verified by interlaboratory comparative testing of milk powder samples for sulfonamides content. The UPLC-MS/MS method for the determination of sulfonamides and trimethoprim residues in whole and milk powder samples can be used both for routine laboratory analysis of dairy products and for the examination of suspicious or questionable samples.

The aim of this study is the assessmentof the quality control of raw milk and traditional burduf cheese obtained fromcow milk mixed with 10% sheep milk. Appreciation of the integrity and freshness assessmentof milk (cow and sheep) was tested by physico-chemical analysis.On theshelf-live were determined the physico-chemical parameters in cheese samples. Theantibiotics residues were tested of the milk samples with portable analyser,model Rosa Charm Reader. Theresults of physico-chemical determinations for the milk and cheese samples werewithin the maximum permissible by data legislation. Regardingthe content of antibiotics, the results were negative both for cow milk and forsheep milk. The sensorycharacteristics of burduf cheese are influenced by the different types of milk.


powder milk is an important foodstuff and beneficial to human health. Thirty random milk powder samples of different trade marks (Rawan® limit full milk powder), (Dielac® milk powder) and (Fresh instant milk powder) were collected from different outlets in Baghdad capital of a IRAQ, They were analyzed by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer for the concentrations of following heavy metals, lead (Pb), iron (Fe), aluminium (Al), Cadmium (Cd), and manganese (Mn)]. This study appeared that the concentrations of heavy metal Fe samples is above the allowed limit in (Rawan® limit milk powder). However, the concentrations of about thirty percent of the samples of Fe in (Dielac full cream milk powder) is above the allowed limits. The concentration of Pb in (Fresh instant full cream milk powder) is above the permissible limit. All the examined samples found free of Cd. Air, water and plants considered as a main contamination of the milk powder by heavy metals. So, it is necessary for warning from the toxic effects for these heavy metals for children and adults.
