Community Service (PkM) at HKBP Duren Jaya is the implementation and continuation of the MoU between Universitas Kristen Indonesia (UKI) and HKBP Duren Jaya in 2020. The Covid-19 pandemic has affected all sectors including the education sector, which resulted the students were learning from home. Parents and students have been experiencing many obstacles while studying from home, so PkM has chosen topics related to the needs of the congregation. PkM aims to provide increased understanding and knowledge of learning mentoring models for parents and effective learning tactics for students in junior high school and grade 10 of high school. The PkM method is a seminar and competition to make a video model of parental assistance while the children study from home. Video assessment uses indicators by evaluators. The results of the PkM are very encouraging, as shown by the seriousness of the committee from the church to optimally manage activities by still implementing health procedures strictly, active participating the seminar by asking several questions, video models of parenting assistance while the children study at home that can be a model for parents and children. This research was conducted with legal research methods that can be revealed how the law was perceived and implemented by the community through research Juridical Sociological including reviewing legal issue s as an integral part of the community or research approach which emphasizes the legal aspects with regard to the subject to be discussed, is associated with the fact in the field. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the influence and the role of parents in caring and educating children through parenting models that cause juvenile delinquency, as well as the effortsthe parents' role in the juvenile delinquency reduction. Object of this study includes elementary school students and junior high school students as well as High School of state or private school at four Regency or City in West Sumatra. The Results of research shows that the influence of parents' parenting models to juvenile delinquency is very influential. The role of parents is very necessary in the prevention of juvenile delinquency by changing the model of parenting applied.

The problem that prompted the authors to conduct this study is the lack ofparental role at home in instilling the values of honesty in children whichimpact on the child in school. In addition, the role of teachers in schoolsin an effort to instill the values of honesty in learning Islamic education itis still less than the maximum, especially in junior high school TakhassusAl-Quran Wonosobo. Therefore the role of parents at home and teachersat school learning Islamic education is very important in the context ofgrowing the value of honesty in children, especially in junior high schoolTakhassus Al-Quran Wonosobo. This study is a qualitative field researchwith the descriptive type of approach. Sampling by purposive sampling, iein accordance with the purpose of research conducted. Samples taken atrandom as much as 25% or 68 respondents from the general populationeighth grade junior high school Takhassus Al-Quran Wonosobo,amounting to 273 learners. The methods used to collect data include:methods of observation, interviews, document study methods, and, in thequestionnaire method. The technique of data analysis is descriptiveanalysis using qualitative techniques.The results based on interviews showed that 70% of students answered yes(positive) and supports the efforts of planting the value of honesty inlearning Islamic education in junior high school Takhassus Al-QuranWonosobo, based on calculations on any number of items showed that 67or 98.53% of students stated that they supported the planting value ofhonesty in learning Islamic education, and calculations based on eachanswer option indicates that as many as 70.15% of students expressed apositive attitude towards planting efforts in the values of honesty in juniorhigh school Takhassus Al-Qur 'an Wonosobo.

The role of parents is needed in the education of children. The role of parents in education makes the quality of children's education better. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between the role of parents and the mathematics learning outcomes of Algebra during the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Pandemic. The research sample was 72 junior high school students in class VII. This study uses quantitative methods with survey techniques. The instrument is a questionnaire and an objective test. The prerequisite test used the Liliefors test, and the data were normally distributed. An analysis of the regression equation shows there is a positive relationship between the two variables. Hypothesis testing using the product-moment correlation test is obtained rcount more than rtable at a significant level of 5%. Because rcount more than rtable, it can be concluded that there is a strong relationship between the role of parents and learning outcomes in mathematics. Based on the correlation t-test, obtained tcount>ttable with db=70. The conclusion is that there is a significant positive relationship between the role of parents and the mathematics learning outcomes of junior high school students. Parents' attention contributes 57.15% to mathematics learning outcomes.

Education outside the family, does not mean relinquishing the responsibility of parents in the world of education, this is done by parents due to the limited knowledge possessed by parents. But there are things that become cloudy in the process of children's learning activities carried out online. Based on the background of the problem, this researcher is expected to provide answers to the formulation of the problem described: 1) What is the role of parents in supporting the learning activities of junior high school children at home during the covid-19 pandemic in Kumpulrejo Village, Parengan District, Tuban Regency. 2) What are the inhibiting and supporting factors for junior high school children's learning activities at home during the COVID-19 pandemic in Kumpulrejo Village, Parengan District, Tuban Regency. The purpose of this study was 1) To determine the role of parents in supporting learning activities for junior high school children at home during the COVID-19 pandemic in Kumpulrejo Village, Parengan District, Tuban Regency. 2) to find out the inhibiting and supporting factors for junior high school children's learning activities at home during the covid-19 pandemic in Kumpulrejo Village, Parengan District, Tuban Regency This study used a qualitative descriptive research method which took place in the village of Kumpulrejo. The process of collecting research data using the methods of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing or data verification (conclusion drawing/verification). The results of this study can be concluded that the role of parents in supporting the learning activities of junior high school children at home during the COVID-19 pandemic in Kumpulrejo Village, Parengan District, Tuban Regency is very important for their children. Children will be more enthusiastic about online learning which is done at home with the role of parents providing motivation and enthusiasm for children, parents as facilitators, parents supervising children in learning. The role of parents in the learning process at home has been carried out well. Although there were obstacles with the existence of civid-19 this research also went smoothly.

Adanya pandemi Covid-19 membawa dampak yang besar di semua bidang dalam kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia dan dunia, termasuk bidang pendidikan. Untuk memutus penyebaran Covid-19, maka kebijakan Belajar dari Rumah (BDR) harus diberlakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) pengaruh BDR dan Peran Orang Tua   terhadap Motivasi Belajar. 2) pengaruh BDR terhadap Motivasi Belajar. 3). Pengaruh Peran Orang Tua terhadap Moditvasi Belajar. 4) pengaruh BDR dan Peran Orang Tua secara  terhadap Prestasi Belajar IPS. 5) pengaruh BDR terhadap Prestasi Beljar IPS. 6) pengaruh Peran Orang Tua terhadap Prestasi Belajar IPS. Penelitian mengambil lokasi di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 281 Jakarta. Oleh karena itu hasil penelitian ini mewakili populasi di Sekolah Menengah Pertama  Negeri 281 Jakarta. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda. Populasi penelitian 358 dan sampel yang diambil 75 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik kuessioner secara daring untuk variabel BDR, Peran Orang Tua, dan Motivasi belajar. Untuk variabel Prestasi Belajar IPS diadakan tes secara daring. Dengan angka sig = 0,004 < 0, 05 membuktikan bahwa terdapat signifikansi BDR dan Peran Orang Tua terhadap Motivasi Belajar. Dengan angka sig = 0,004 < 0, 05 membuktikan bahwa terdapat signifikansi BDR terhadap Motivasi Belajar. Dengan angka sig = 0,015 < 0, 05 membuktikan bahwa terdapat signifikansi peran orang tua terhadap Motivasi Belajar. Dengan angka sig = 0,000 < 0, 05 membuktikan bahwa terdapat signifikansi BDR dan Peran Orang Tua terhadap Prestasi Belajar IPS. Dengan angka Sig = 0,006 < 0, 05 membuktikan bahwa terdapat signifikansi BDR terhadap Prestasi Belajar IPS. Dengan angka Sig = 0.000 < 0, 05 membuktikan bahwa terdapat signifikansi Peran Orang Tua terhadap Prestasi Belajar IPS.   The covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact in all areas on leaves of Indonesians and world, including education. To break the spreading of Covid-19, the learning from home policy must be enforced. The  study aims to determine: 1) The influence of learning from home and the parental participation together on learning motivation. 2) The influence  of learning from home on learning motivation. 3). The influence of the parental participation on learning motivation. 4) The influence of learning from home and the parental participation togrther on Social Studies learning achievement. 5) The influence of learning from home on Social Studies learning ahievemnet. 6) The influence of the role of parents on Social studies learning achievment. The research took place at 281 Public Junior High school Jakarta, therefore this research represents the population at public junior high school Jakarta. The study using a quantitative research method and using multiple linier regression analysis technique. The research population was 358 and the sample was 75 respondents taken. Data collection was carried out using online questionnaire technique for variables of learning from home, the role of parents, and learning motivation. For the Social Studies Learning Achievement variabel, an online test was held. With the number sig = 0,004 < 0, 05, it proves that there is a significance of learning from home and parental participation on learning motivating. With the sig = 0,004 < 0, 05, it prove s that there is a significance of learning from home on learning motivation. With the sig = 0,015 < 0, 05, it proves that there is a significance of parental participation on learning motivation. With the sig = 0,000 < 0, 05, it proves that there is a significance of learning from home ang parental participation on the social studies learning achievement. With the sig = 0,006 < 0, 05 it proves that there is a significance of learning from home on the social studies learning achievement. The objective of this research is to describe stocktaking of best practices in educational management at school level. The research is conducted at Goverment Junior High School I (SMP Negeri) in Southern Tambun in the school year of 2004/2005. The most important finding in the government junior high school is that the school is able to empower the role of parents and society optimally particularly in providing fund to gain the best achievement. The success of education provision by empowering the role of parent and society optimally can be predicted if there is no wrong decision taken by the leaders. The decision is effective if all human factors as supervisors of all activities get strategic positions. To appoint human resources in the strategic position will produce strategic programs which will give a larger opportunity for success. The research finding can have implication on the efforts in sustaining the trust of parents and society around the school, so that the schools can have better quality at national level.

Consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages in adolescents is still high, because of the sinful lifestyle, like not getting enough sleep and high screen time. The study aims to determine the relationship of nutritional knowledge, the role of parents, duration of sleep, and screen time with the level of consumption of sweetened-beverage. This study used a cross-sectional design with systematic random sampling. The number of subjects was on 165 students of class VII and VIII of Junior High School 11 Jakarta. Data nutritional knowledge, parental roles, sleep duration, and screen time were obtained from interviews using a questionnaire. The level of consumption of sweetened drinks was obtained from interviews using Semi-Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaires (SQ-FFQ). Most subjects had a high level of consumption of sweet-beverages (60.6%), good nutritional knowledge (64.8%), the role of parents is classified at risk (50.9%), less duration of sleep (77%) and high screen time (72.1%). There was a relationship between nutritional knowledge, sleep duration, and screen time with the level of consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages.
