The productivity equation of a gas well is, in the final analysis, an expression that describes the relationship between the production of a gas well and its bottom-hole flowing pressure. There are two kinds of productivity equations in common use at present: binomial productivity equation and exponential productivity equation. Combined with the modified isochronal well test, the test data are interpreted, and it is found that the open flow rates calculated by the two productivity equations are basically the same when the pressure difference at the test point is large, and the deviation of the exponential productivity equation is large when the pressure difference at the test point is small. Using binomial productivity equation and modifying isochronous well test, we established the single-point deliverability formula for the Jingbian sector of the Yan’an gas field. The field experience formula and production data are used to verify it. Their average errors are 2.59% and 7.12%, respectively; and the coincidence rate of productivity evaluation is 90%. The one-point productivity formula established has high precision and is suitable for productivity analysis of gas wells in paleozoic reservoirs in the Jingbian sector of the Yan’an gas field. This paper provides insights into the one-point productivity evaluation and its future application in the gas field.

Abstract A large gas field with carbonate formations was discovered about 200 km (kilometers) offshore, in water depths of 108 m (meters) below mean sea level. Flow analysis and reservoir depletion studies by the Operator show 7" tubing is required to provide high production rates of about 80 to 120 million Standard Cubic Feet per day (mmscfd) per well as the optimum production and depletion strategy for the field. The field presents significant challenges to well construction and completion. These challenges were considered in the design stage to optimise well completion design and operations. This paper describes the approach and methods used to overcome the challenges in the design and execution stage to optimise the completion design and to manage challenges during construction of the well including: –Due to loss of circulation in the fractured gas carbonate reservoirs, the well will be drilled with Pressurised Mud Cap Drilling (PMCD), a form of Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD). Thus, the design needs to provide for installing the well completion in this condition–The wells required heavy mud weight for drilling and thus, heavy brine weights for well completion. Challenges to avoid or minimise the loss of high cost heavy brine were considered–High reservoir temperatures of about 325 deg. F (degrees Fahrenheit) which lead to challenges of ensuring equipment will continue to work in high temperature environments, high loads / stresses on completion & casing during production, and Wellhead & Christmas Tree & Flowline movement / growth.–Presence of sour gas and CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) which require optimising metallurgy of tubulars and downhole equipment, considering corrosion and cost requirements–Understanding loads / stresses on the tubing and casings with high flowrates and high flowing temperatures–Concerns with formation collapse during production–Corrosion studies to optimise material selection and ensuring well integrity for at least twenty (20) years’ field life–Manage hydrates and scaling while carrying out well completion, well clean and well test operations and during the field life–Acceptable seals, barriers and completion equipment to manage high pressure gas–Wellhead and Christmas Tree that can take the high temperature and sour gas content–Well clean-up and testing after completion in conjunction with drilling operations–Cost and time optimisation to maximize returns on investment for the project. Well completion engineering studies were carried out for each challenge or consideration. Experiences and lessons from similar gas fields were also considered. Corrosion laboratory analysis was carried out to optimise the corrosion resistant alloy for the completion tubular and completion equipment. For each solution to the challenge, cost and time considerations were reviewed and studied to optimise the design, cost, integrity and safety of the wells and operations. This paper describes the approaches and methods taken by the Operator to optimise the Big Bore Gas Well Completion Design including some lessons for improvement after successfully drilling, completing, clean-up and testing of the first well with this completion design.

To solve the high leakage and high wear problems faced by sealing devices in aeroengines under the condition of high axial pressure difference, the two-stage finger seal is proposed in this paper. The finite element method and computational fluid dynamics (FEM/CFD) coupling iterative algorithm of the two-stage finger seal is developed and validated. Then the performance advantages of two-stage finger seal compared to the one-stage finger seal are studied, as well as the leakage and the inter-stage pressure drop characteristics of two-stage finger seal are investigated. Finally, the measure to improve the inter-stage imbalance of pressure drop of two-stage finger seal is proposed. The results show that the two-stage finger seal has lower leakage and lower contact pressure than the one-stage finger seal at high axial pressure difference, but there exists an inter-stage imbalance of pressure drop. Increasing the axial pressure difference and the root mean square (RMS) roughness of finger element can aggravate the imbalance of pressure drop, while the radial displacement excitation of rotor has little influence on it. The results also indicate that the inter-stage imbalance of pressure drop of the two-stage finger seal can be improved by increasing the number of finger elements of the 1st finger seal and decreasing the number of finger elements of the 2nd finger seal.

Abstract: Usually we pay more attention on how to improve gas well cementing quality in engineering design and field operations, and there are so many studies on cement agents but few researches on cement slurry injection technology. The field practice proved that conventional cementing technology can not ensure the cementing quality especially in gas well and some abnormal pressure wells. Most of the study is concentrated on cement agents and some cementing aspects such as wellbore condition, casing centralization etc. All the factors analysis on cementing quality has pointed out that a combination of good agents and suitable measurements can improve cementing quality effectively. The essential factor in cementing is to enhance the displacement efficiency, but normal hole condition and casing centralization are the fundamental for cementing only. Pulsing cementing is the technology that it can improve the displacement efficiency especially in reservoir well interval, also it can shorten the period from initial to ultimate setting time for cement slurry or improve thickening characteristics, and then to inhibit the potential gas or water channeling. Based on systematically research, aiming at improving in 7″ liner cementing, where there are multi gas reservoirs in long interval in SiChuan special gas field, well was completed with upper 7″ liner and down lower 5″ liner, poor cementing bonding before this time. So we stressed on the study of a downhole low frequency self-excited hydraulic oscillation pulsing cementing drillable device and its application, its successful field utilization proved that it is an innovative tool, and it can improve cementing quality obviously.

Abstract In this paper we will present a process streamlined for well-test validation that involves data integration between different database systems, incorporated with well models, and how the process can leverage real-time data to present a full scope of well-test analysis to enhance the capability for assessing well-test performance. The workflow process demonstrates an intuitive and effective way for analyzing and validating a production well test via an interactive digital visualization. This approach has elevated the quality and integrity of the well-test data, as well as improved the process cycle efficiency that complements the field surveillance engineers to keep track of well-test compliance guidelines through efficient well-test tracking in the digital interface. The workflow process involves five primary steps, which all are conducted via a digital platform: Well Test Compliance: Planning and executing the well test Data management and integration Well Test Analysis and Validation: Verification of the well test through historical trending, stability period checks, and well model analysis Model validation: Correcting the well test and calibrating the well model before finalizing the validity of the well test Well Test Re-testing: Submitting the rejected well test for retesting and final step Integrating with corporate database system for production allocation This business process brings improvement to the quality of the well test, which subsequently lifts the petroleum engineers’ confidence level to analyze well performance and deliver accurate well-production forecasting. A well-test validation workflow in a digital ecosystem helps to streamline the flow of data and system integration, as well as the way engineers assess and validate well-test data, which results in minimizing errors and increases overall work efficiency.

Objective To determine whether any difference exists in responses to indirect moxibustion relative to thermal stimulation sites. Methods Twenty one healthy men of mean±SD age 22.5±6.1 years were randomly divided into two groups, one receiving a single moxibustion stimulation in three locations (the three-point stimulation group, n=10 participants) and the other receiving three stimulations in one location (the one-point stimulation group, n=11 participants). The thermal stimulation sites were GV14, GV9 and GV4 acupuncture points. A thermograph was used to obtain the skin temperature on the posterior trunks of the participants. To analyse skin temperature, four arbitrary frames (the scapular, interscapular, lumbar and vertebral regions) were made on the posterior trunk. Result An increase in skin temperature on the posterior trunk was observed following both one- and three-point moxibustion administrations. The skin temperature of the lumbar region showed a significant increase after three-point stimulation compared with single-point stimulation (p=0.011). There was also a significant increase in skin temperature of the spinal region after three-point stimulation compared with one-point stimulation (p=0.046). Conclusion Administration of single moxibustion doses on the GV14, GV9 and GV4 points produces greater changes in skin temperature than three applications of moxibustion to the GV14 point only.

On an orientable surface of genus p, a set of 2p fundamental circuits can be selected which all pass through a single point A. After cutting along the 2p circuits, the surface can be unfolded into a flat region bounded by a 4p-gon so that: the set of vertices corresponds to the one point A; and the 2p pairs of edges to the 2p fundamental circuits; and the interior of the polygon to the remainder of the surface. If the edges of the polygon are directed, the 2 edges which correspond to one fundamental circuit will be directed in opposite sense, since the surface is orientable [1]. The sequence and direction of the edges is the same as the sequence of the fundamental circuits.

Although graffiti is a well-known phenomenon of street art, there is still no single point of view on this phenomenon (even if it is considered art at all). Both the essence and the manifestations of graffiti remain a matter of debate - there are dozens of different classifications, that they are based on different characteristics. However, the phenomenon has rarely attracted attention from the point of view of semiotics, though it is the semiotic reading of graffiti that makes it possible to understand its nature more deeply. Due to semiotics we could create an integrative classification, which would combine stylistics and subject matter into one system. The article made exactly such an attempt –providing of the semiotic classification of graffiti, based on Ch. Peirce’s classification of semiotic signs. Graffiti is a sign, because it has a material shell of the latter, a marked object and rules of interpretation. It functions within the subculture and signifies the individual's desire to escape from the deterministic nature of urban life (J. Baudrillard). It is a culture of the semiosphere, which continuously gives rise to new connotations and, accordingly, generates new receptions. An important component of graffiti interpretation is the cultural code; it is not read outside the field of conventionality, cultural context. Decoding of graffiti can occur in three ways. From our point of view, it is appropriate to use S. Hall’sclassification. He suggested a scheme for "decrypting" messages in the media, however, in our opinion, his scheme works for any communicative act (including graffiti). He distinguished dominant ("dominant-hegemonic"), oppositional ("oppositional") and negotiated ("negotiated") decoding. In the graffiti situation, oppositional decoding prevails among ordinary recipients (passers-by). U. Eco called this type aberrant, because it provides "decryption" of text with a different code than the one it was created for. Authors of graffiti themselves are often not fully aware of what they createalso. Modern writers use techniques of op-art, Dadaism, surrealism, etc., without being very oriented in all these directions. When graffiti combines different types of art (for example, the combination of painting with literature), it takes into account the features of inter-semiotic translation, which makes the decoding situation even more complicated. We offercreating a semioticclassificationofgraffiti, that might be based on Ch. Peirce’s classification of semiotic signs, whichdistinguishthesigns-copies, signs-indexes, signs-symbols. It could help the essence of graffiti and decode them.

The article justifies for the need to identify and to keep track, in practice, of different groups of risks inherent in educational institutions under current conditions of pandemic and post-pandemic transformation of education under the influence of modern world uncertainty. Transformation of education functions in the epoch of digital economy changes the content and types of risks concomitant to the activities carried out by schools. Schools belong to the most conservative types of organizations. However, the environment in which schools operate is constantly changing. An educational institution, as any enterprise, has to engage in the activity aimed at risk management. Manifestation of the risk is, on the one hand, fraught with threats and damage, on the other hand, with opportunities. Assessment of possible threats and risks allows timely projection of undesirable results, creation of a system for situational response to unforeseen circumstances and, in the final analysis, formulation of a strategy for development of the university which would allow achievement of modern high quality education, its fundamentality and conformity to important topical requirements of the personality, society and state. Causes of developing risks characteristic of educational institutions are disclosed. External and internal risks characteristic of educational institutions, sources generating them and the importance of managing them are analyzed. The analysis of risks made reveals multi-varied threats and opportunities in the external and internal envi-ronment of the institution and their ability to have a significant effect on educational, organizational and financial activities of the schools.

In the Iphigeneia at Aulis role and role inversion are paramount concerns. Indeed it could be contended that in this play we find Euripides' clearest and best defined account of human (and divine) variability. Agamemnon, Menelaos, Achilleus, Iphigeneia, and even, in the final analysis, Artemis, all take positions and attitudes diametrically opposed to those initially adopted. Moreover, the basic thrust behind these movements in position and attitude is the same for each of these characters. All are concerned, in one way or another, with the saving or destruction of Iphigeneia, a situation which most emphatically includes Iphigeneia herself. For on the one hand she wildly supplicates to be saved, while on the other she gladly offers her body to the blade. In addition, Iphigeneia plays a crucial role in greater destructions. If she is destroyed by Agamemnon's and the army's actions, then Greece is destroyed in turn by her (Agamemnon's and the Greeks' final triumph is a ‘Pyrrhic’ victory at best), a situation made all the more ironic by her affected stance of saviour to the fatherland. In Iphigeneia's case, however, the discrepancy between intention and the consequences of action is innocent enough. The play gives no hint that she is at all aware of the irony implicit in her actions. But such lack of awareness is not postulated with regard to Agamemnon, Menelaos and Achilleus. The duplicities and hypocrisies of these three have been the subject of much analysis, and it is at least a critical commonplace to observe that they are characterised in a way more reminiscent of the sour end of everyday life than of the due proprieties associated with heroic, or Homeric, behaviour.

The concept of “Dramatic Illusion” is never thought of today in conjunction with Charles Lamb. Rather it is chiefly associated with Samuel Taylor Coleridge, for two good reasons. Coleridge's position on this difficult topic is, in the final analysis, a middle of the road one, between the extremes, say, of Castelvetro on the one hand and Dr. Johnson on the other. Second, his formula, “the willing suspension of disbelief,” whether adequate or not, is so effectively put that it has been granted a degree of acceptance which a less vivid phrase might never have received.
