Numerous studies have shed some light on the importance of associated factors of collaborative attitudes. However, most previous studies aimed to explore the influence of these factors in isolation. With the strategy of data-driven decision making, the current study applied two data mining methods to elucidate the most significant factors of students' attitudes toward collaboration and group students to draw a concise model, which is beneficial for educators to focus on key factors and make effective interventions at a lower cost. Structural equation model trees (SEM trees) and structural equation model forests (SEM forests) were applied to the Program for International Student Assessment 2015 dataset (a total of 9,769 15-year-old students from China). By establishing the most important predictors and the splitting rules, these methods constructed multigroup common factor models of collaborative attitudes. The SEM trees showed that home educational resources (split by “above-average or not”), home possessions (split by “disadvantaged or not”), mother's education (split by “below high school or not”), and gender (split by “male or female”) were the most important predictors among the demographic variables, drawing a 5-group model. Among all the predictors, achievement motivation (split by “above-average or not”) and sense of belonging at school (split by “above-average or not” and “disadvantaged or not”) were the most important, drawing a 6-group model. The SEM forest findings proved the relative importance of these variables. This paper discusses various interpretations of these results and their implications for educators to formulate corresponding interventions. Methodologically, this research provides a data mining approach to discover important information from large-scale educational data, which might be a complementary approach to enhance data-driven decision making in education.

The purpose of this study acclaims the important of Auditory, Visual and Tactile in affecting consumer’s decision makingbehavior of buying, it is also to figure out it’s impact in Aqua. Thus, it is important to study “The Impact Of SensoryBranding’s Elements On Consumer’s Decision Making Behavior Of Buying Aqua With Neuromarketing Approach InJember”. The population in this study are Aqua’s consumers in Jember. Sampling is taken using purposive sampling methodfrom 100 respondents. Instrument analysis in this study is performed using Structural Equation Model (SEM) withconfirmatory approach. The result shows that: 1) auditory significantly affects consumer’s decision making behavior of buyingAqua in Jember, 2) visual significantly affects consumer’s decision making behavior of buying Aqua in Jember, and 3) tactilesignificantly affects consumer’s decision making behavior of buying Aqua in Jember.

AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to investigate whether the way managers make decisions (their decision-making style—DMS) predicts their entrepreneurial intentions (EI), a research subject that has been largely ignored in the literature. Developing an understanding of entrepreneurial intention factors that attract managers to entrepreneurship is indispensable for organizations. A sample of 230 managers of companies based in Kosovo was asked to take the entrepreneurial intention questionnaire and the General Decision-Making Style (GDMS) questionnaire. Bridging two strands of literature on decision-making and entrepreneurial intention and using the Structural Equation Model (SEM), it is concluded that spontaneous and intuitive styles predict managers’ entrepreneurial intentions. Considering the limitations of this single-country study, the implications for theory and policy are discussed.

Vocational education is no longer just an education that prepares its graduates to work or become mediocre workers. Creative thinking skills are the basis of science that is very important for students. This research uses a quantitative approach and the population of this study included 106 Cadets of The School of Aviators in Indonesia. Sampling techniques taken were saturated sampling techniques and the samples were taken as many as 106 cadets. Data analysis techniques used were Structural Equation Model (SEM) with AMOS help (Analysis of Moment Structures) program. The results of this study show that critical thinking has a significant effect on decision making.

The current study aims to investigate the influence of accounting information system (AIS) elements, including human resources, physical resources, and financial data, in delivering the organization to a suitable decision-making process through the mediating role of well-built accounting disclosure. The study applies its model to the commercial banks listed in the Jordanian market at the end of 2019. A quantitative approach was adopted and a questionnaire was applied on 171 financial managers and accounting department heads within 21 commercial banks in Jordan. Based on the results of a structural equation model, the main hypothesis was accepted referring to the positive influence of AIS elements of human resource, physical resource, and financial data on organizational decision-making that is attributed to accounting disclosure within commercial banks in Jordan. These results show the importance of AIS in decision-making and encourage companies to adopt modern AIS in order to help them improve the quality of accounting information. The study recommended focusing on increasing skills and knowledge of accounting and financial managers within banks on the multiple ways of benefitting from AIS applications, this can include holding conferences, seminars, and workshops.

This study analyzed the relation between scientific research self-efficacy and metacognitive thinking skills of prospective teachers. Hence this study was executed in relational screening method. The findings of our study unveiled that a significant relation existed between Metacognition thinking subskill domains and scientific research self-efficacy. Accordingly thinking, problem solving, decision making and alternative evaluation skills explained approximately 27% of the score variance of scientific research self-efficacy. In this study three models devised on the principle of structural equation model were tested. It was concluded at the end of this study that decision-making skills played a mediator role between thinking skills and conclusion and discussion skills. Further to that it was identified that thinking skills played a mediator role between literature skills and problem-solving skills. Lastly it was identified that thinking skills played a mediator role between problem solving and conclusion and discussion skills. ÖzetBu çalışmada öğretmen adaylarının bilimsel araştırma öz-yeterlikleri ile üst biliş düşünme becerileri arasındaki ilişki araştırılmaktadır. Dolayısıyla araştırma ilişkisel tarama yöntemine göre yürütülmüştür. Araştırma sonucunda Üst biliş düşünme alt beceri alanlarıyla bilimsel araştırma özyeterliği arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu belirlenmiştir. Buna göre düşünme, problem çözme,  karar verme ve alternatif değerlendirme becerileri bilimsel araştırma özyeterliğine yönelik puanlara ait varyansın yaklaşık %27’sini açıklamaktadır. Araştırmada yapısal eşitlik modeline göre kurulan üç model test edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda düşünme becerileri ve sonuç ve tartışma becerileri arasında karar verme becerilerinin aracılık etkisinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bunun yanında alanyazın becerileri ve problem çözme becerileri arasında düşünme becerilerinin aracılık etkisinin olduğu gözlenmiştir. Son olarak problem çözme ve sonuç tartışma becerileri arasında düşünme becerilerinin aracılık etkisinin olduğu saptanmıştır.
