Technology in education is one of the current realities that generates most interest. The objective of this research is to analyze the scientific production of educational technology in the higher education stage, within the Web of Science database. To carry out this study, a bibliometric study was conducted, which first established the keywords that would govern the rest of the research and continued with the analysis of different variables that addressed different features, from the origin of the archives to the authors or the most prolific and relevant institutions in the scientific community. The results indicate that there has been a significant increase in publications on this subject in recent years, and as evident from the current peak, this is a growing trend that will lead to more research in the coming years.

Scientific productivity of any academic institution is expressed by the total number of publications generated by its academic faculties and the use of the publication by scientific community. Citation analysis is done to evaluate the use of the publications. Use of the publication can be studied with the help of bibliometric analysis. Counting publication, publications trends, authorship patterns and citation analysis are parts of bibliometric analysis. Web of Science is one of the best databases which allow the study in the use of the publications through citation analysis. In this article, scientific articles produced by the faculties and other international affiliated faculties of BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences have been studied. Citation analysis of scientific publications of BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences is done with the help of the Web of Science, a product of Thomason Reuters.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.3126/hren.v10i2.6584 Health Renaissance 2012; Vol 10 (No.2); 139-143

There has been emerging interest in the effectiveness of technology usage in professional education for establishing various competences among future educators. However, the field still lacks in holistic overviews of the role of technology for establishing various competences among future educators. The present bibliometric study was employed to identify and synthesize the results from studies exploring domains of professional education, technology and establishing competence. An author analyzed the papers published in highly ranked and cited journals which were indexed and ranked in the Web of Science Core Collection and Scopus, in the period of 2000 to 2020. The results demonstrated high interest in studied domains within various subjects and fields of study, demonstrating the interest in the opportunities which provide the technology for professional education and developing methodological competences.

This study aimed to analyze the characteristics of publications dealing with the Eco-innovation and Strategy issues in the databases Web of Science and Scopus in the period 2001-2015, and identify what topics are being studied along this theme and which are the most relevant, conducting a comparison of results found in the two databases (Web of Science and Scopus). The study has a quantitative approach in order that sought to evaluate some variables related to scientific production on the subject researched. The analysis found 96 publications in the Web of Science and 109 in Scopus. Comparing both surveyed bases it is found that the number of publications increased dramatically in the last decade and that European countries lead the ranking as the number of publications. It is noticed that in both databases, the authors of the most cited publications are not among the authors who have published over in the period. The most cited articles in both surveyed bases belong to the journals: Journal of Cleaner Production and Technovation.

Since its inception in 1985, the Australasian Journal of Educational Technology (AJET) has been dedicated to the diffusion of studies on the integration of technology in higher education. Its track record in this field has placed it in the first quartile of the Scimago Journal & Country Rank. The objective of the study was to reveal to the scientific community the journey and evolution that this journal has had throughout its existence in Web of Science. A bibliometric methodology was used, supported by a scientific mapping from a unit of analysis of 798 documents. For this reason, a co-word analysis can be a fundamental tool for understanding the characteristics of their production and their impact on the scientific community. There is an evident progressive evolution of the studies published in the Australasian Journal of Educational Technology, with a first phase focused on the design and implementation of educational technology in learning environments, a second phase focused on the enrichment of technology and its acceptance within the processes of teaching and learning, and finally a stage focused on student and teacher perceptions of the implementation of technology in the educational context. Implications for practice or policy: We have established a contextual framework to show researchers current trends in educational technology and delineate future lines of research. Those interested in this subject will have a set of bibliometric indicators to delve into the field of educational technology. Higher education teachers and students will discover the evolution of the use of technology in learning spaces.

A comparative study of groups and their composition over the five-year periods 2004-2008 and 2009-2013 was performed. The results indicated that there is an increase in the number of researchers and research groups working in the field of educational psychology, which is accompanied by an increase in the number of items, although in some cases the increase in the number of members in the group does not correspond to a significant increase in scientific production. It is noticeable the incorporation of a greater number of Spanish journals in the Web of Science, as are those that concentrate most of the scientific production in this discipline and are responsible to influence growth in the foundation data from the Web of Science of the Spanish scientific production in educational psychology.</span>

Abstract Given the economic importance that the citrus sector has in Brazil, bibliometrics indicators have been used in this work to analyze the main characteristics of papers indexed in the Web of Science database. Through activity indicators, thematic specialization, impact, visibility and collaboration, we present the results published in the decade 2000-2010. Data show a notable growth in scientific production, especially in recent years, and can detect the most productive institutions, which are the universities of São Paulo. The scientific production on the Innovation, especially on Sustainable Innovation, has grown in recent years. Various expressions and definitions for sustainability and innovation have been reported in the literature. Sometimes the two concepts are combined and described with one term, Sustainable Innovation. Research on sustainable innovation has grown in popularity due to the need to incorporate sustainability within business practices. The purpose of this study is to investigate the status and the evolution of the scientific studies on this topic and identify the worldwide trends in scientific production over time through a research conducted on the metadata of Web of Science, a database commonly used by researchers. A bibliometric analysis has been developed to analyse a total of 1,511 documents published between 2000 and 2021 in order to discover the research trends in this field and the main dimensions and words related to the term “Sustainable Innovation”.
