Sustainable development and project stakeholder management indicate a business practice where an organization strives to fulfil the demands of the important stakeholders for the project’s success. If one company relies on subassembly parts from its supplier, then it might be considered that it has high interest for enhancing the business continuity of the supplier. This issue has become more complex during 2020 due to turbulent business conditions where the problem of the safety and health of workers during daily work has become one of main reasons for business vulnerability. Besides the above-mentioned, project stakeholders may have different demands. The implementation of the management actions that lead to the fulfilment of stakeholder demands (SDs), such as addressing ongoing issues, are almost always limited by the available budget. The contribution of this research is providing the input for determining the actions which should address the most important SDs. Those activities may be seen as part of the strategy for external stakeholder management and successful long-term relationship. The determination of the priorities of SDs is based on a fuzzy multicriteria optimization model with type-2 fuzzy sets.

This paper discussed on the determination of important parameters and technical characteristic for the development of a welding fumes index by using Quality Function Deployment (QFD) approach. Welding fumes index is developed with the objective to enhance the welding workplace safety and health. Index simplifies complex health-hazard issues of welding fumes to be comprehended easily by the employees. Questionnaires on welder desire to know the various welding fumes health effects that exist in their workplace were distributed among welders of a selected automotive assembly lines in the state Pahang, Malaysia, during a pilot case study. Results of the questionnaires show that all the customer requirements (irritants effect, sensitizer effects, respiratory system effect, systemic toxin effect, reproductive toxins effect, carcinogen effect, mixture effect) were equally important to the welders. The relationship between the customer (welder) requirement and technical characteristic were established whereby important technical characteristics were shortlisted. Development of welding fumes index according to employees demand will increase the knowledge and awareness on occupational safety and health among employees. The paper provides the main idea on development of welding fumes index taking into consideration the needs of the customer i.e. welder.

Nickel due to its physicochemical properties is used to produce high strength, corrosion resistant, temperature resi-stant, high resistance and acid resistant alloys. Nickel in the form of fine powder can induce an allergic response when in contact with the skin, carcinogenic properties have been proven with long-term exposure to nickel dust. According to the proposed directive of the European Parliament No. 2020/0262, a value of maximum allowable concentration (MAC) in a workplace air in Poland for the inhalable fraction should be at 0.05 mg/m3 and for the respirable fraction at 0.01 mg/m3 (2020/0262/COD). The aim of this study was to develop a method for determining nickel in the range of 1/10 ÷ 2 of the MAC. The method is based on gathering nickel aerosol and its compounds contained in the air on a filter, filter mineralization in nitric acid(V) and hydrochloric acid at elevated temperature then determination of nickel content in the sample using atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) with flame atomization. The method for the determination of nickel is presented in the form of an analytical procedure, which is included in the appendix. This article discusses the problems of occupational safety and health, which are covered by health sciences and environmental engineering.

Organizations where executive leadership identifies and manages worker safety and health as a business risk, rather than strictly as a compliance issue, are better positioned to reap both financial and reputational benefits from stakeholders such as customers, shareholders, employees and regulators. The advantages, both short and long term, of leadership engagement in the strategic management of safety and health can lead to enhanced brand reputation, greater sales and less contentious employee and regulatory relationships.

Fabrics recovered from archaeological sites often are so badly degraded that fiber identification based on physical morphology is difficult. Although diagenetic changes may be viewed as destructive to factors necessary for the discernment of fiber information, changes occurring during any stage of a fiber's lifetime leave a record within the fiber's chemical and physical structure. These alterations may offer valuable clues to understanding the conditions of the fiber's growth, fiber preparation and fabric processing technology and conditions of burial or long term storage (1).Energy dispersive spectrometry has been reported to be suitable for determination of mordant treatment on historic fibers (2,3) and has been used to characterize metal wrapping of combination yarns (4,5). In this study, a technique is developed which provides fractured cross sections of fibers for x-ray analysis and elemental mapping. In addition, backscattered electron imaging (BSI) and energy dispersive x-ray microanalysis (EDS) are utilized to correlate elements to their distribution in fibers.

Problems when calculating reinforced concrete structures based on the concrete deformation under compression diagram, which is presented both in Russian and foreign regulatory documents on the design of concrete and reinforced concrete structures are considered. The correctness of their compliance for all classes of concrete remains very approximate, especially a significant difference occurs when using Euronorm due to the different shape and sizes of the samples. At present, there are no methodical recommendations for determining the ultimate relative deformations of concrete under axial compression and the construction of curvilinear deformation diagrams, which leads to limited experimental data and, as a result, does not make it possible to enter more detailed ultimate strain values into domestic standards. The results of experimental studies to determine the ultimate relative deformations of concrete under compression for different classes of concrete, which allowed to make analytical dependences for the evaluation of the ultimate relative deformations and description of curvilinear deformation diagrams, are presented. The article discusses various options for using the deformation model to assess the stress-strain state of the structure, it is concluded that it is necessary to use not only the finite values of the ultimate deformations, but also their intermediate values. This requires reliable diagrams "s–e” for all classes of concrete. The difficulties of measuring deformations in concrete subjected to peak load, corresponding to the prismatic strength, as well as main cracks that appeared under conditions of long-term step loading are highlighted. Variants of more accurate measurements are proposed. Development and implementation of the new standard GOST "Concretes. Methods for determination of complete diagrams" on the basis of the developed method for obtaining complete diagrams of concrete deformation under compression for the evaluation of ultimate deformability of concrete under compression are necessary.
