In the field of regenerative medicine, cell therapy is often used to regenerate organs or tissue that can be widely applied to several diseases. In recent years, the Taiwanese government has listed the biotechnology industry as a key developmental objective and has enacted laws to regulate cell therapy. This has led to substantial change and has necessitated a reliable direction of management in the cell therapy industry. Therefore, this study aims to develop a new method to explore the key success factors in three dimensions of relevant biotechnology company management. It adopts a qualitative method combined with a quantitative analysis method. The study uses Gwo Xi Stem Cell Company, a qualified cell therapy company in Taiwan, as a case study. It adopts a literature analysis method and conducts interviews with cell therapy experts to develop an innovative assessment framework. The analytic hierarchy process is combined with decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory to establish the key success factors in the management of the cell therapy industry. Thus, the study offers strategic recommendations for the development of domestic stem-cell-related industries. The results demonstrate technical characteristics as the most important direction for successful management. Moreover, due to the substantial change in Taiwan's cell therapy industry, technical characteristic-related key success factors, including product development strategy (technical characteristic 1) and technological mastery (technical characteristic 2), are currently considered to be crucial key success factors in decision making.

This article provides information on the experimental effectiveness of the training process to 12-13 year-old handball players in their formed team-game specialization. Currently, the competition calendar has radically changed, it has become more dense and intense for teams of different levels and ages with high demands on the results of the competition. And this, in turn, creates difficulties in the training process of athletes, allowing an excessive intensification of training sessions, with all the ensuing consequences. We believe that in this situation, in order to improve the sports training of handball players, at the present stage, it is necessary to use other possible reserves, which suggest, against the background of general training processes, the restructuring of the existing ways of organizing game capabilities, including an earlier age-related team-game specialization of athletes, in which their role, as an individual sports and technical characteristic, will be especially effective in competitive manifestations.

Technical characteristics are an important influencing factor in fuzzy front-end of product innovation design and also an important output of the house of quality. The analysis and decision-making of technical characteristics are conducive to the rational allocation of resources according to their own advantages and the design of products in line with market demand. In view of the multiple objective constraints and internal fuzziness of technical property selection in the house of quality, the traditional methods have great limitations on the decision-making of technical property. Therefore, this paper proposes a multiobjective decision-making method for technical property selection in the house of quality, which aims to calculate and modify the basic importance of technical property. Based on the rough set algorithm, the basic importance of technical characteristics is determined by using the correlation matrix between consumer demand and technical characteristics, and the relative weight of multiple objectives is determined by “least squares.” On this basis, the multiobjective decision-making model of technical characteristic selection is established and calculated. At last, an example of mobile phone product design was used to verify the practicability and effectiveness of the method.

Tanjung Puting National Park is a natural wildlife park with a positively increasing trend in the number of visitors. The transportation which is utilized in Sekonyer river is ‘klotok’ boat, a traditional tour boat modified from a fishing boat. The design of a fiberglass-based tour boat is needed to accommodate the limitation of Kalimantan’s logs, which become the main structural components of klotok and to comply with the technical characteristic of the river. The purpose of this study is to obtain the optimum main dimensions of the fiberglass-based tour boat and its hull form design. The method performed to obtain the main dimension of the boat is non-linear optimization with the help of solver in Microsoft Excel software. The process of boat’s hull design is done by line distortion approach where the shape of a reference boat’s hull is conformed to a particular size and hydrodynamical coefficients, which are obtained from the optimization process. The result of optimization process is the main dimension of the boat (Lpp = 12.23 m, B = 2.70 m, H = 1.14 m, T = 0.80 m and Cb = 0.55). By conducting a series of calculations, the obtained value of the total boat’s resistance worths 2,427 N. Therefore, the number of boat’s power needed is less than the power of existing boats. The boat’s hull also complies with technical requirements and regulations, which are freeboard and intact stability.

Abstract As a sudden heavy metal pollution accident occurs in a drainage basin, decision makers need to quickly select the optimal emergency treatment technology and formulate emergency schemes according to the actual accident characteristics. Therefore, a two-step identification method of emergency treatment technology for sudden heavy metal pollution accidents based on Dempster-Shafer (D-S) evidence theory is proposed, in order to screen the optimal emergency treatment technology effectively and solve the conflict among fusion data in the process of index quantification. Firstly, the available technologies were screened preliminarily by the primary identification indexes (technical characteristic indexes). Secondly, the weight synthesis method based on the D-S evidence theory and attribute assignment was utilized to score the secondary identification indexes (technical evaluation indexes) of each available technology comprehensively. Finally, the optimal emergency treatment technology for this sudden pollution accident was obtained. Taking the sudden arsenic pollution accident of the Picang flood diversion channel in Linyi, Shandong Province as an example, the activated alumina adsorption dam technology was extracted successfully, which is in accordance with the actual treatment situation. The result shows that the method has strong feasibility and practicability, which can provide strong decision support for dealing with sudden pollution accidents in drainage basins efficiently.

Abstract Danmu function as an augmented comment feature has been adopted by almost all live streaming platforms to foster interaction between viewers and the streamer in China. However, few studies have been conducted to understand the determinants of users’ Danmu sending behavior on live streaming platforms. This study examines this phenomenon from the lens of effectance theory and the S-O-R framework. We propose that two effectances – Danmu effectance and live streaming effectance – play an essential role in active Danmu participation. In addition, we explore the effects of time-enhanced (synchronicity) and space-enhanced technical characteristic (visibility) of Danmu on live streaming platforms on two effectances. Data analysis of 877 participations from Douyu platform in mainland China indicates that active Danmu participation is positively associated with Danmu effectance and live streaming effectance which are influenced by both time-enhanced technical feature (synchronicity) and space-enhanced technical feature (visibility). In addition, the study finds that demographic characteristics, namely education and income, also affect active Danmu participation.

Introduction. Hygienic control of the levels of contact ultrasound in the workplace should be carried out in accordance with the approved certified measurement procedures. The sanitary-epidemiological norms and rules present the requirements for the normative values and evaluation of contact ultrasound, as well as the methods of measurement of acoustic pressure and the calculation of the time-averaged peak spatial intensity. The analysis of the possibility of measurements of contact ultrasound in the workplace and in the laboratory.Results. The results showed that the presented measurement methods determine the specific power that the ultrasound source emits into a water-like gel medium, and the specific power is a technical characteristic of the ultrasonic source. This method should be used to determine the ultrasonic characteristics of the ultrasound source in the laboratory at the manufacturers, and not to assess its impact in the workplace. Measurements of contact ultrasound in the workplace are very difficult, as they require extremely complex, expensive research and unique equipment. Thus, to assess the impact of contact ultrasound on the human body in the workplace, it is advisable to use the acoustic characteristics of the contact ultrasound source obtained in the laboratory at the manufacturing plants and presented in the technical documentation.
