With Thailand as a context, this study explores the applications of Pine and Gilmore’s experience economy framework in two forms of craft beer tourism, namely brewpubs and festivals. A three-pronged qualitative research design is used wherein data was collected through observations, interviews (n = 26), and netnography (n = 203). The findings revealed that both forms of craft beer tourism implement four dimensions of the experience economy in different measures. Esthetic and escapist dimensions benefit from natural, scenic settings and a man-made environment. In addition, they advance the framework by proposing the dimension of entrepreneurship, which orchestrates the entertainment and education elements that enhance tourists’ experiences. The application of the experience economy framework is a useful strategic approach for craft beer tourism which can be applied in niche or special interest tourism, while also providing a significant influence on destination marketing and sustainable development.

This study examines the current trends and complexities in qualitative research in three major language teaching andlearning journals published from 2006–2015. After categorizing 781 articles into quantitative, qualitative, mixedmethods, and other approaches, 226 qualitative research articles were closely examined and further analyzed in termsof four dimensions: approaches, methods, number of participants, and length of research period. The findingsshowed that case study was the most frequently employed approach, followed by ethnography. The study alsoidentified that while interviews, observations, discourse analysis, and conversation analysis were relatively wellutilized, more than 150 different data collection and analysis methods were used. Although the results of the studyshow a tendency to use certain approaches and methods in qualitative research more than others, they alsodemonstrate the complexity and diversity of qualitative research and the difficulty in clarifying and categorizingtypes of qualitative research in language teaching and learning.

This research was conducted to describe the entrepreneurial leadership of SMEs Tofu "RDS" and description about the obstacles experienced by SMEs Tofu "RDS". This research uses descriptive qualitative research design that aims to obtain the information available at this time, and then attempt to describe, record and interpret the information. Data collection methods used were interviews, observation and documentation. This type of qualitative research is case study. The result of the research is the condition of entrepreneurial leadership from the leadership of SMEs Tofu "RDS" is generally good because he is able to motivate employees well, have a picture of the future effort, able to read opportunities well, actively seeking new ideas, persistent in running their business And barriers faced by SMEs Tofu "RDS" can be overcome well by the leadership of SMEs Tofu RDS.

Mobile technologies are all-pervasive in the current digital generation, and college students rely on their mobile phones to communicate on a daily basis. In the midst of the myriad of applications available to download on the mobile, some tools have become more well-known and more often adopted than others. An example of such a tool is WhatsApp, which gains an increasing, widespread number of users on a daily basis, particularly in the Middle East region. The present study investigated college students' use of WhatsApp as a communication tool, and used Lebanon as a case study. A qualitative research design was implemented to understand the perceptions of college students vis-à-vis WhatsApp, and to investigate the motivational factors behind the popularity of this communication tool. The results revealed four themes: simplicity for discussion and coordination, cost-effectiveness, immediacy and sense of belonging.

This research is used to study engineering undergraduates fostering their mathematical creativity during creative problem solving. This was an exploratory research carried out in a public university as to find out the impact of CPS towards mathematical creativity among the engineering undergraduates. A case study was used to provide deep exploration of how the engineering undergraduates using their creative methods to solve open-ended mathematical problems creatively. Qualitative research design was applied in order to understand in depth the engineering undergraduates working collaboratively to generate their creative ideas during mathematical problem solving. Three final years engineering undergraduates took part in the study.  They had to use their divergent and convergent thinking to generate creative methods to solve twelve open-ended mathematical problems. Qualitative research design of case study was used in this study to explore the engineering undergraduates using creative methods to solve open-ended mathematical problems during creative problem solving processes. By analyzing the data collected from the case study can provide in-depth and detail understanding of the creative processess and products of the research. Observation and recording sheets were used to collect all the data. SCAMPER was also used as a guideline for them to spark their creaivity. All the qualitative data of drawing from documents, videotape from observation and snapshot texts from recording sheets were collected and then analyzed. They were coded and categorized into different themes in order to find out the mathematical creativity among the engineering undergraduates. The results in this study shows that the engineering undergraduates were able to generate different creative methods with the help of the SCAMPER.

Architecture is the art of shaping space, system, and technology. A close relationship is established between the building and its user, as the facility provides shelter and communicates with the inhabitants by meanings encoded in the form. The reception of architecture occurs through an ideological narrative and the quality of construction and material solutions. Contemporary pro-environmental postulates exert an increasingly clear influence on how architecture is shaped, especially on its aesthetic and semantic solutions. In this context, the article refers to the interdependence between art and technology in shaping the architecture of meanings through detail. The work aims to expand qualitative research on shaping contemporary detail in the context of pro-environmental trends in architecture. The detail was selected based on its clear message—its meaning provides the leading feature of the structure, both in technical (engineering solutions) and semantic (narrative) terms. The article provides an attempt to answer the question of how a semantic detail should be shaped, with the account to contemporary concepts on sustainable development architecture. A synthetic-comparative methodology was adopted; specific groups of completed objects were analyzed in the context of the indicated topics. The conclusions from this part of the work constitute case study guidelines, which was conducted on the example of an original project.

This study was designed to explore the perception and experiences of motivation of teacher educators of the universities of Sindh province of Pakistan. The data was collected and analysed through case study approach, the qualitative research design and thematic-narrative analysis technique. The total twenty-one teacher educators revealed their stories in the form of narratives about their motivation. The findings of this article would be found suitable, authentic and reliable resource, which would be an excellent addition in to the existing literature of motivation in order to understand the phenomenon, its process and causations.

The article focuses on the creation and the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem around the innovation clusters. Clusters are believed to have a well-defined strategic approach aimed at boosting businesses’ sustainable development, especially if clusters are centred around small and middle-sized enterprises. Having undertaken a piece of phenomenological qualitative research, we found that large companies were more open to cooperation and sustainability than the small and middle-sized ones, thus initiating and developing innovation clusters around them (particularly in high-technologized industries such as the automotive and Information Technology). Additionally, we highlight that a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem is based on strong pillars, of which small companies’ capabilities, including the entrepreneurial ones, are innovation-driven, and place them in the centre of the innovation cluster. This piece of research also provides relevant insights for private and public organisations and policymakers in order to co-create a local innovation and entrepreneurship strategy. Our findings have implications for both cluster literature and the field of entrepreneurship.

This study deals with the language  communication strategies in conversation used by extrovert and introvert students at Politeknik LP3i Medan. It uses qualitative research design with a single case study to gain an understanding on this study. It is conducted descriptively. This study aims to find out the types of communication strategies in conversation used by introvert students of Politeknik LP3i Medan. The subjects were 10 persons of introvert and of Politeknik LP3I Medan. The use of instruments in this study were observation ,interview and documentation. The observation were the types of communication strategies in conversation used by extrovert and  introvert students of Politeknik LP3i Medan. The interview was used to in depth the data. The theories of Celce-Murcia was used in this study. The data were analyzed by Spradley (1979) analysis. The result of the study there were three reason of communication strategy were used by students of Politeknik LP3I Medan. In order to help teachers teach sustainability more effectively, we need more knowledge about both their understanding of suitable pedagogical methods and their own positioning in regard to sustainable development. This qualitative research focuses on how teachers see themselves as educators of sustainability and how they experience creative methods such as digital storytelling in supporting their learning. Interviews were carried out with nine university teachers during a staff training course on sustainable development and how it is best taught and learnt. Findings indicate that teachers’ positioning in regard to the teaching of sustainable development varied according to their discipline and their understanding of its four dimensions, namely ecological, social, economic and cultural. Digital storytelling thus proved to be a promising method for supporting holistic learning and teachers’ self-positioning in regard to education concerning this complex domain. However, some restrictions exist in relation to resource-taking and teachers’ need for additional support.

This study deals with the Javanese Language Maintenance of Intermarriages in Rantau Utara. It employed qualitative research design with a case study. This study aims to describe: (1) the factors of language maintenance. It was chosen because many of Javanese people who married with other ethnic. The instruments used of this study were observation, questionnaire and interview. The data were analyzed by using Miles, Huberman and Saldana’s data analysis. The result of the study were found that there were six factors of Javanese language of maintaining the language namely seeing each other frequently (100%), neighborhood domain (97%), ethno linguistic vitality (100%), family domain (99%), religion domain (55%) and practice the traditional ceremony (35%).
