This research was conducted at Utama Aluminum Store which is a company engaged in general trading or general supplier and manufacture of various doors, frames, windows, X Panda, mosquito wire, and window displays. The purpose of this study was to determine and evaluate the cash sales accounting information system that was running at Utama Aluminum Store and to provide an alternative design of cash sales accounting information systems at Utama Aluminum Store. The data used in this study are primary data obtained directly from Utama Aluminum Store and secondary data obtained in the form that has been in the form of publications. The analytical tool used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis tool by analyzing the system using the COSO method, which then continues the conceptual design phase by designing a document flow chart (flowchart), Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), Normalization. After that proceed to the physical design stage but only limited to designing database design, input, and output design. Based on the results of the study, the researchers found that the cash sales system run by the company was less effective because there were still a number of tasks in the sales section, and the warehouse section, and also the documents used were still not meeting the system requirements. In addition, the resulting report is a sales report that is only recorded in a book that can cause the resulting report to be ineffective and cause fraud. Furthermore, the researchers designed a cash sales accounting information system that is able to overcome these weaknesses and shortcomings. When presented with an accounting information system based on a reliable system, it will certainly produce objective information as well. Inventory management and computerized goods reports are very beneficial for the company. J-Mart, which is a minimarket which still relies on Ms. So that data processing of reports cannot be fast and accurate. This study uses data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. This application is designed to use Visual Basic.Net with SQL Server as the database. The output result obtained from this system is the inventory report. With the creation of this inventory system, it is hoped that it can make it easier to carry out the process of recording inventory, avoid input errors and can streamline the time of inputting and counting stock items in the warehouse.

The advancement in technology has enabled companies to generate and use accounting information system.  Accounting information system (AIS) is a computer-based application which conveys a new inclination of change from the conservative method of accounting to a computerised method. These advances in information and communication technology (ICT) have reduced the time and cost of transactions by aiding increased and improved transactions and communication for business dealings. It has also improved and advanced the efficiency of businesses by computerising existing operations to improve the performance of their operations. Accounting Information Systems (AIS) can be used by the organizations as a device for achieving a stronger, reliable, and more corporate culture to survive in this competitive environment. Accounting information systems also assist companies to gauge the risk of some operations or predict future warnings using sophisticated statistical software applications. The main objective of this paper is to examine the usage of Accounting Information System for effective decision making and improvedinternal control system on firm performance in which the qualitative data was used reviewing various literatures and other secondary data. This study providesvalue added in accounting literature given the scarcity of works dealing with the relationship between the application and use of AIS and evaluating overall firm performances

This study aims to examine both the application and the accuracy of the accounting information system on outpatient and inpatient service at Medan General Hospital of Mitra Sejati. The research method used is a descriptive method using secondary data, in which the obtained data come from existing sources such as the profile of Medan General Hospital of Mitra Sejati, organizational structure, flowchart, and reports of outpatient and inpatient service at Medan General Hospital of Mitra Sejati. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the accounting information system for outpatient service at Medan General Hospital of Mitra Sejati has not been effectively executed. There are a great number of mistakes made by medical staff in inputting patient data. Accordingly, in the future, Medan General Hospital of Mitra Sejati can provide training for employees in using the accounting information system effectively and is expected to improve outpatient and inpatient service to avoid errors that will impact the quality of service in the hospital.

Badan Pelayanan Perizinan Terpadu (BPPT) Jawa Barat that have an address at Jl. PHH Mustofa No. 22 Bandung. Is a govermment agency that is engaged in licensing services. Problems that occur is a recording system that is still done manually so in the execution of recording to the financial statements do relatively long because it susceptible to errors in recording data. So that the problems that occur can be minimized, the authors take the title research “Accounting Information System Design Actual Budgeting on Badan Pelayanan Perizinan Terpadu (BPPT) Jawa Barat by Using Microsoft Visual Basic 2008 and MySQL Database Server”. The type of research use an academic research, the types of data use the qualitative data, the type of study design use descriptive, surveys, and primary secondary data, survey research method, data collection techniques use is a field research, consisting of interviews, system development method use process-oriented methodology, data and output. The structure of the development of the system use was iterations. Information system use context diagram, data flow diagrams, and flowcharts.

Good accounting information system is information system that can generate accurate, on time and reliable information for management decision making.  The use of database  to keep the financial transaction  and operasional transaction data must be integrated.  Integrated database will avoid redundant data and keep the currency of data.  Single database in each division will be time consuming, expensive and will cause inconsistency of data.  This will be the disadvantage for the company to compete.  PT SIG is the company operating in freight forwarding industry.  One of the main responsibility is to manage the delivery of package from one place to another place all over the world and to manage all documents related to the shipping.  The management of documents in this industry is very complex, therefore the need to handle the documents in the efficient, complete, fast and zero errror is the prime need of the management.  The documents distributed in this industry are  complex.  The shipment of the package can be performed if the whole documents are complete.  Unfortunatelly, the company can not manage its documents efficiently and effectively.  Documents are manually generated and also manually distributed.  The analysis in this research is the modelling process analyis that will become the basis for the designing of the system.  Modelling process used in this research is Data Flow Diagram.  The analysis of Information System of PT SIG is capable of giving some recomendation to solve the company problem in getting data accuratelly,on time and also to give the best service to  the customer The reliable accounting information system is the system that can generate accurate, on time and reliable information for management decision making and to serve customer in a better way.Keyword : analysis information system, proces modelling, data flow diagram

This study aims to examine the sales accounting information system implemented by PT Daihatsu Astra Motor Sisingamangaraja. Then it can be identified whether the information system has been implemented according to the right internal control structure or not and to determine the company's development through financial ratios that are limited to the sales department. This type of research is a case study, which contains exposure or relevant data from the results of research on the object. Qualitative methods are used in flowchart analysis and quantitative methods are used to calculate financial ratios that are limited to sales. Primary data is data that comes from the original source and is collected specifically for the purposes of the research being conducted. Secondary data is data produced by companies such as financial statements and accounting records. Data collection methods are interviews and direct observation. The results of this study are overall PT Daihatsu Astra Motor Sisingamangaraja has carried out car sales activities, spare parts / spare parts and service services with an accounting information system in accordance with the components of the internal control structure model. The majority of transactions that occurred at PT Daihatsu Astra Motor Sisingamangaraja actually decreased, this was due to the author's limitations in obtaining related financial statement information. Thus, it can be concluded that the accounting information system applied by the company is mostly appropriate and effective because it is appropriate so that it can support internal sales control.
