This paper present about design of  Unit hydrographs (UH) application program using three methods of Synthetic Unit Hydrograph namely Gama 1, ITB 1, and Nakayasu. Unit hydrographs are either determined from gauged data or derived using empirically-based synthetic unit hydrograph procedures. In Indonesia, the discharge records may not be available either for several locations or for long time scales, and therefore synthetic unit hydrographs are crucial in flood and water re-sources management. Computer programs were developed to provide a means for rapid analysis. of rainfall and run off data. The purpose of this research is to design computer application program analysis based on three methods of Synthetic Unit Hydrograph namely Gama 1, ITB 1, and Nakayasu. This computer application program use Visual Basic 6.0 as the programming language. This research began from literature studies, lay out design of the display program, the developed of the algorithm, and then carried out using the programming language Visual Basic program, then perform verification and validation program using secondary data. The accomplished results show that computer application program namely Synthetic Unit Hydrograph Program can be used to analyze unit hydrograph which show in table and graph.

ANALISIS KONSENTRASI CAMPURAN SENYAWA MENGGUNAKAN VB 2008 ABSTRAK Telah dibuat sebuah program aplikasi menggunakan VB 2008 yang ditujukan untuk menganalisis suatu larutan yang berisi campuran senyawa etil-benzena, o-silena, m-silena, dan p-silena. Konsentrasi dari masing-masing senyawa ini ditentukan menggunakan metode eliminasi Gauss dalam bentuk program komputer yang ditulis menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Visual Basic 2008. Penggunaan program ini terhadap suatu data sekunder, memberikan hasil konsentrasi (dalam satuan molar) sebagai berikut: etil-benzena = 0,04153, o-silena = 0,04067, m-silena = 0,02772,  dan p-silena = 0,02522. Kata kunci: Metode Gauss, VB 2008   ANALYSIS OF MIXED CPMPOUND CONCENTRATION USING VB 2008 ABSTRACT A VB 2008-based  application program  to analyze  a solution containing four different compounds, which are ethyl-benzene, o-xylene, m-xylene, and p-xylene, has been built. Concentration of each compound was then determined by using Gauss elimination method in the form of computer program written in Visual Basic 2008 programming language. Application of the program using the secondary data shows that concentrations (in molar) of each compuound are as follows: ethyl-benzene = 0,04153, o-xylena = 0,04067, m- xylena = 0,02772,  and p- xylena = 0,02522. ABSTRAK Kurangnya ketersediaan data hidrograf merupakan kendala bagi perencanaan bangunan air. Kendala ini menjadikan model-model HSS akan memberikan manfaat yang cukup besar. Idealnya setiap DAS mempunyai Hidrograf Satuan dengan ciri tertentu. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengamati karakteristik hidrograf pengamatan di tiap DAS dan semua DAS di Propinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Tujuan utama studi ini adalah membuat rancangan Model Hidrograf Satuan Sintetis antara lain persamaan debit puncak banjir (Qp) dan waktu mencapai puncak banjir (Tp) yang antara lain merupakan fungsi dari luas DAS (A), panjang sungai terpanjang (L), dan faktor bentuk DAS. Faktor bentuk DAS merupakan rasio dari keliling (K) dan luas area (A) DAS. Analisis model menggunakan regresi dengan berbagai alternatif. Hasilnya permodelan hidrograf satuan sintetis (HSS) dengan variabel luas DAS (A), panjang sungai terpanjang (L), dan faktor bentuk DAS (FD) dan tentunya sesuai dengan kriteria dari koefisien determinasi, diharapkan mempunyai sensitivitas yang cukup tinggi. Faktor bentuk DAS (FD) diharapkan mempunyai hubungan linear dengan parameter hidrograf satuan sintetis.Kata kunci: debit puncak banjir, waktu mencapai puncak, luas DAS, panjang sungai terpanjang, faktor bentuk DAS   ABSTRACT The lack of hydrograph data availability is an obstacle for water building planning. This constraint makes HSS models will provide considerable benefits. Ideally each watershed has a Hydrograph Unit with certain characteristics. This study aims to observe the hydrograph characteristics of observations in each watershed and all watersheds in South Sulawesi Province. The main objective of this study is to design a Synthetic Unit Hydrograph Model, including the peak flood discharge equation (Qp) and the time to reach the flood peak (Tp), which among others is a function of the watershed area (A), longest river length (L), and form factor Watershed. The watershed form factor is the ratio of perimeter (K) and area (A) of the watershed. Model analysis uses regression with various alternatives. The result is synthetic unit hydrograph modeling (HSS) with a broad variable watershed (A), longest river length (L), and DAS (FD) form factor and of course according to the criteria of the coefficient of determination, it is expected to have a high enough sensitivity. The DAS (FD) form factor is expected to have a linear relationship with the parameters of synthetic unit hydrographs.

“MICE” is an acronym for Misalignment, Imbalance, Crack and Eccentricity. These form the most catastrophic faults in rotor shafts of gas turbine engines that could lead to downtime. This paper therefore enunciates steps to early detection of these faults and how they could be solved. A method of computer application using Visual-Basic programming language is suggested. A software, MICE, is used for the analysis. Results obtained compare favorably with those of similar works in this area and show that the software can be extended to other rotating equipment when their characteristics are known.

Metode prakiraan cuaca yang selama ini hanya dilakukan secara manual dengan melihat parameter-parameter cuaca yang ada, sehingga dibuat suatu program aplikasi komputer untuk memudahkan para prakirawan dalam menganalisa dan membuat prakiraan cuaca. Software pembuat program, Visual Basic 6.0 dimanfaatkan dalam pembuatan program aplikasi prakiraan cuaca ini. Tersedianya form pada Visual Basic yang mudah untuk dimodifikasi, memudahkan pengguna untuk mengatur tampilan aplikasi kemudian dijalankan dengan menggunakan kode (script) sebagai perintah. Hasilnya berupa sebuah program aplikasi prakiraan cuaca berekstensi *.exe yang dapat dijalankan pada perangkat komputer. Dengan menggunakan aplikasi prakiraan cuaca ini para prakirawan akan lebih mudah menganalisis dan mengoreksi langsung pada aplikasi ini jika ada kesalahan dan waktu yang dibutuhkan relatif lebih cepat (efisien).Methods of weather forecasting have only done manually by using provided weather parameters, so there is a need to build ​​a computer application program in facilitating the forecasters to analyze and make forecasts. Maker software program called Visual Basic 6.0 application program was utilized in building this forecasts application. Availability of the Visual Basic form that is easy to modify allows users to adjust the display and then run the application using the code (script) as a command. The result is a weather forecast application program with extension *.exe that can be run on the computer. By using this application the weather forecasters will be easier to analyze and correct it directly on the application if there is an error and the time it takes relatively more quickly (efficiently).

Technology development is faster. Technology is also increasing to be used by large and small companies. But it's different from the Aqua Bill Store located at Pringsewu Regency. This store has not used the sales application program, so that they experience obstacle in making sales report and need an application to sell mineral water. This research aimed to design an application for the mineral water sales at Aqua Bill Store. System is designed using Visual Basic 6.0 programming language. The result of this study was this application system that helps employees in the process of making sales reports and data storage besides that it also eases for business owners to check items so they can avoid depletion of goods stock.

This paper introduces analysis the development process of CAD technology, application of the AutoCAD software in engineering field and teaching as well as the significance of the development of two times the. This paper analyzes in detail the development of common language, and the use of Visual BASIC development and application of software based on AutoCAD. The author elaborates the software interface design and method calls AutoCAD in VB. Finally, the design and implementation of a programming language re-development system based on AutoCAD is concerned. The test results show that the developed AutoCAD two development system has good practical value.

Background: Low public awareness of the impact of smoking makes the implementation of smoke-free areas (KTR) difficult. Smoke-free areas aim to protect the public from the direct and indirect effects of smoking. Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the correlation between the application of smoke-free areas and the prevalence of active and ex-smokers in Indonesia. Method: This study implemented a cross-sectional design, using secondary data from the Riskesdas 2018 on active and ex-smokers. KTR application data were obtained from the Profile of Non-Communicable Diseases in 2016. A Pearson product-moment test was conducted by a computer application to determine the correlation coefficient (r). This coefficient was used to describe the level of correlation between the two variables; significance was determined as a p value of 5%. Results: This study showed that the average application of KTR throughout Indonesia was 50.83%, active smokers comprised 23.49% of the population, and ex-smokers comprised 4.94%. Most active smokers were in Java and Sumatra, while the majority of ex-smokers were in Java and Sulawesi and the majority of KTR was in Java. This study shows that there is a positive correlation between KTR application and the percentage of ex-smokers (r = 0.46; p value = 0.01). Conclusion: There is a positive correlation between the application of KTR and an increase in ex-smokers. The government needs to increase the application of KTR policies.
