This study aims to analyze the teachers' manners contained in the book of Adab al-Alim wa al-Muta’allim by K.H.M. Hasyim Asya'ari from a psychological perspective. This study was a qualitative study with a literature review approach. These manners had been classified into several categories and then were analyzed with a psychological perspective. The results showed that, first, the teachers' manners could be classified into 6 categories. They are manners related to inner behavior, prayer and practical deed, exemplary, scientific competence, good relationship, and teaching techniques. Second, After had been analyzed from a psychological perspective, the results showed that manners being related to inner behavior, prayer, and practical deed were relevant with al-Quran dan al-Hadits; manners being related to exemplary and scientific competence were associated with Bandura's social cognitive theory; manners being related to a good relationship and teaching techniques were linked with the theory of cognitivism and humanism.

Pendidikan karakter merupakan salah satu tujuan utama pendidikan di Indonesia. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, kebutuhan serta peluang pemanfaatannya di dunia pendidikan, diperlukan adanya adaptasi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran karakter, khususnya dalam pembelajaran daring. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan konsep yang jelas agar kegiatan pembelajaran dapat berlangsung secara maksimal. Namun penelitian terdahulu, belum ditemukan adanya model pendidikan karakter melalui pembelajaran daring yang dapat dijadikan acuan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model konseptual pendidikan karakter melalui pembelajaran daring yang mencakup metode dan strategi yang disesuaikan dengan tujuan pembelajaran dan pokok bahasan, serta sistem sosial, prinsip reaksi, sintaks, bahan dan alat yang dibutuhkan, serta evaluasi.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deduktif dengan mengkombinasikan Social Cognitive Theory (SCT), Komponen Karakter Lickona (KKL), dan framework TPACK untuk membantu penyusunan model. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian konseptual dengan tipe model dengan menerapkan multi method qualitative dalam pengumpulan datanya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). SLR dilakukan dengan cara mencari, menyeleksi, dan mengkaji penelitian-penelitian terdahulu yang relevan, sedangkan FGD dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali (31 Januari 2021 – 14 Februari 2021) yang melibatkan 18 guru Pendidikan Agama Islam & Budi Pekerti atau Diniyah dari berbagai lembaga pendidikan di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Berdasarkan 123 referensi penelitian yang relevan dan pengumpulan data dari FGD, dilakukan triangulasi data dan ditemukan 45 kegiatan pembelajaran yang dipetakan menjadi metode dan strategi yang dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran daring.Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa metode dan strategi pada pendidikan karakter membutuhkan kesesuaian dengan KI/KD mapel PAI & BP SMP berdasarkan karakteristik KKL masing-masing. Implementasi metode dan strategi dalam pembelajaran daring disesuaikan dengan tipe aplikasi utama yang akan digunakan. Sistem pendukung lainnya disesuaikan dengan tipe aplikasi utama, metode dan strategi tersebut. Dalam sintaks pembelajarannya perlu diperhatikan sintaks sosial dan prinsip reaksi yang telah disusun dan ditetapkan oleh sekolah. Integrasi dan operasionalisasi dari prosedur tersebut direpresentasikan dengan model konseptual yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini, serta desain Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran khusus untuk pembelajaran daring (RPP Daring) yang dilengkapi dengan cara pengisiannya.

This article presents the challenges and possibilities of integrating spiritual modeling as an approach to religious education. Spiritual modeling is an emerging concept in the field of religious development, specifically in the social cognitive theory of Albert Bandura. A systematic literature review of the principles and concepts of spiritual modeling was conducted. Findings and recommendations are discussed in line with the current state of religious education, particularly in the context of Philippine Catholic schools.

Background/Aims Studies have shown that some people diagnosed with schizophrenia are more predisposed to distress than others because of positive and negative symptoms of schizophrenia, leading to aggressive and violent behaviour. Moreover, there is no conclusive evidence to substantiate the reasons for the causes of aggression and what suitable interventions can be used. The aim of this study was to explore evidence-based literature through social cognitive theory to find effective strategies to manage aggression among patients with a diagnosis of schizophrenia. Methods A background literature review search was conducted from the following databases: Medline, Cinhal and PsychInfo. The Boolean operator OR was used to search for Aggression OR Violence OR Cognitive theory OR Interventions OR Mental illness OR Schizophrenia OR Self-control OR Self-efficacy OR Social learning theory. Suitable papers were hand searched and seven papers were selected. Results Research studies are in favour of social cognitive interventions to manage aggression in patients with schizophrenia as they have fewer side effects and can be used alongside other pharmacological interventions as the second line of treatment. However, findings from these studies should be viewed with caution, resulting from the contradiction that still exists in whether psychotic symptoms are correlated to aggression and violent behaviours among patients with schizophrenia. Conclusions Social cognitive models can enable health care professionals to explore the causes of aggression from a broad perspective, using appropriate risk assessment tools to design appropriate strategies.

PurposeThis systematic literature review focusses on original research that examines the effect of persuasive architectural interventions on stimulating health behaviour. This paper gives an overview of the empirical evidence and aims to examine the evidence for health behaviour change through architectural interventions and the underlying theoretical pathways and mechanisms using social cognitive theory.Design/methodology/approachThis paper reviewed 40 peer-reviewed articles found through Scopus, Google Scholar, Web of Science, PubMed and a supplementary hand search and examined for effect, type of interventions, type of behaviour and underlying mechanisms using social cognitive theory.FindingsThis review shows that architectural interventions can stimulate healthy behaviour. However, much of the research focusses on specific health behaviours (physical activity), in specific target groups (children or older adults) and with specific types of interventions (supplying provisions). Furthermore, the effect of the physical environment on cognitive factors should be taken into consideration.Research limitations/implicationsHardly any research on smart architectural interventions for health behaviour change exists, but combining insights from product design and built environment has the potential to impact designing for health behaviour change.Originality/valueStimulating certain types of health behaviour can positively contribute to health goals and has been the focus of many health promotion practitioners over the years. The focus of health promotion interventions has primarily been on social and psychological factors. However, current research shows the importance of the physical environment as an influence on health behaviour. Potentially, with the use of smart technology, this effect could be enhanced.
