Education in the direction of developing soft skills competencies for students is an issue that needs to be addressed at the training institutions. In particular, in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0, it is creating many challenges for educational activities. The results from the study of soft skills situation on Office Administrationstudents indicate that most students are satisfied with the skills equipped with the rate of 74.7%, in which, communication skills, teamwork skills, presentation skills, decision making and problemsolving skills,  negotiation and conflict resolution skills are highly appreciated by students for their need. However, the actual capacity of students is only above average. Therefore, the School needs to pay more attention to the training of soft skills, innovating the training method towards approaching the Industrial Revolution 4.0 to create a quality, intellectual and soft skills capacity workforce will be the top task for current training institutions.

Advance care planning (ACP) is a process of formal decision-making that aims to help patients establish decisions about future care that take effect when they lose capacity. In our experience, guidance for clinicians rarely provides detailed practical advice on how it can be successfully carried out in a clinical setting. This may create a barrier to ACP discussions which might otherwise benefit patients, families and professionals. The focus of this paper is on sharing our experience of ACP as clinicians and offering practical tips on elements of ACP, such as triggers for conversations, communication skills, and highlighting the formal aspects that are potentially involved. We use case vignettes to better illustrate the application of ACP in clinical practice.

This paper aims to identify the challenges in the implementation of shared decision-making (SDM) when the doctor and the patient have a difference of opinion. It analyses the preconditions of the resolution of this difference of opinion by using an analytical and normative framework known in the field of argumentation theory as the ideal model of critical discussion. This analysis highlights the communication skills and attitudes that both doctors and patients must apply in a dispute resolution-oriented communication. Questions arise over the methods of empowerment of doctors and patients in these skills and attitudes as the preconditions of SDM. Overall, the paper highlights aspects in which research is needed to design appropriate programmes of training, education and support in order to equip doctors and patients with the means to successfully engage in shared decision-making.

In this fast transforming business economy caused by globalization, it has become incredibly important that employees keep on upgrading their hard skills and polish their soft skills if they aspire for a career that not only pays them well but also promises better opportunities in career development. Though the importance of soft skills is recognised in everyday life, in maintaining interpersonal relationships, in buildings strategies for success, its implications are mainly found in organisations and workplaces. Soft skills, however, play a significant role in building a career. Today to succeed and survive in the competitive workplace employees are expected to change their attitude, attention, and commitment to work. Besides, they are also expected to develop other abilities like effective communication skills, teamwork, leadership qualities, stress management, emotional intelligence etc. Competition is progressively increasing across workplaces worldwide. The need to be fit, flexible and existing is highly intrinsic. Soft skills thus help deal with challenges as they offer essential factors to influence the success of the employees and the organisations. AbstractThe article explores the interaction among three key figures in the process of publication of a literary translation into a language of low diffusion: the translator, the editor and the language reviser (the latter specific to the Slovene situation). The aim of the research is to identify who has the strongest position of power in the decision-making process of the production of a literary translation, especially when conflict arises. Information was gathered from the three groups with questionnaires, interviews and an analysis of public statements. The questions focused on the selection of the translator and language reviser, the translation process, the revision process and conflict resolution. A cross-comparison of the results indicates that despite the automatic central position of the editors, they tend to yield their decision-making power to translators, while language revisers have a more subservient, consulting role.

The advancement of technology in the world is marked by the industrial revolution event. Indonesia has entered the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This incident affects the way society dwell, slowly our lives have been dominated by technology and it is possible that in the future humans will be replaced by robots. We must developing soft skills that cannot be replaced by robots through our education. Indonesia’s education itself does not prepare the next generation to deal with this event. Starting from outdated curriculum,  teachers who are afraid to explore in teaching to school buildings that still adhere to the school system in the 19th century. The study of the discussion is how human dwell in the future in this case is to study, namely primary school buildings, which can accommodate teaching and learning activities with a curriculum that suits future needs. The design method used is in form of design stages, starting from Area Analysis; Investigation of selected sites; Proposed Program;  Design Analysis: Composition of mass and the concept of mass of buildings using the Metaphor Method; Project Zoning; Application of Pattern Language Methods and Structure and Building Materials. The result of this research is an elementary school architectural building that accmodate 21st century learning. Keywords:  creativity; education; metaphorical architecture; pattern langugae;primary school  Abstrak Kemajuan teknologi didunia ditandai dengan adanya peristiwa revolusi industri. Indonesia telah memasuki era revolusi industri 4.0. Peristiwa ini memengaruhi cara masyarakat berhuni, secara perlahan kehidupan kita telah didominasi dengan teknologi dan tidak menutup kemungkinan dimasa depan manusia akan digantikan dengan robot. Lalu, bagaimana kita sebagai manusia menghadapi ini ? yaitu mengembangkan softskill yang tidak bisa digantikan oleh robot melalui pendidikan kita. Pendidikan Indonesia tidak menyiapkan generasi selanjutnya untuk menghadapi perisitiwa ini. Berawal dari kurikulum yang sudah usang, lalu para guru yang takut untuk bereksplorasi dalam mengajar hingga bangunan sekolah yang masih menganut sistem sekolah di abad-19. Lingkup pembahasan laporan ini adalah bagaimana wadah berhuni manusia dimasa depan yaitu kegiatan menuntut ilmu, yaitu bangunan sekolah dasar, yang dapat mewadahi kegiatan pembelajaran dengan kurikulum masa depan. Metode perancangan yang digunakan adalah; a) Analisis Kawasan; b) Investigasi tapak terpilih; c) Usulan program; d) Analisis Perancangan : Gubahan massa dan Konsep Massa bangunan dengan Metode Arsitektur Metafora; d) Penzoningan Pada Proyek; e) Penerapan Metode Bahasa Pola dan f) Struktur dan Material Bangunan. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini berupa bangunan arsitektur sekolah dasar yang mewadahi kegiatan pembelajaran abad-21.
