Objective: Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory (MCMI) is one of the most widely used clinical tools in research studies and clinical settings. MCMI was revised 4 times and its last version was published in 2015. All previous versions of MCMI have been translated to Persian and validated and have been frequently used by Iranian clinicians or researchers. Thus, this study provides the Persian version of the last version of this popular inventory for clinical or research purposes. Method: The participants of this psychometric study were selected by combining purposeful and convenience sampling methods among inpatients and outpatients who referred to Roozbeh hospital from 2018 to 2019. After data screening by statistical methods and Validity Scales based on MCMI-IV profile, 400 participants’ profiles were analyzed to estimate the psychometric properties of the Persian Version of MCMI-IV. MCMI-IV, the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-5 (SCID5), and the Brief Symptoms Inventory (BSI) were used for clinical data gathering. Content Validity Ratio (CVR), Correlational Coefficients, Kappa Agreement, Spearman Brown Coefficient, and Cronbach Alpha were performed for data analysis. Results: According to the results of data analysis, the psychometric properties for MCMI-IV were estimated as follows: the content validity index (CVI, 0.29 to 0.99), criterion validity (0.13 to 0.40), convergent validity (-0.35 to 0.72), The Cronbach’s alpha for the personality scales was 0.48 to 0.90, the Spearman-Brown coefficient was from 0.49 to 0.90, and test-retest reliability was from 0.51 to 0.86. Conclusion: The psychometric properties of the Persian version of MCMI-IV, including validity and reliability indexes, are appropriate and in line with the findings of its original version.

This work protocol form part of a three-phase publication (Marin-Garcia, 2019). Its objective is to establish a work procedure to answer these questions: 1) in which journals have articles about Operations Management with Partial Least Squares (PLS) been published?; 2) Do the results of previous reviews on this topic still prevail based on the very limited set of journals that it have been conducted (and before substantial modifications were made to report methods of PLS-based studies)?; 3) Do recent articles fulfil report recommendations; 4) What kind of measurement model has been considered for the constructs most frequently used in the selected articles?; 5) What are the usual R2 values in the cross-sectional studies represented in the selected articles?; 6) Within what statistical power range do the relations analysed with PLS fall?

The article summarises current recommendations to select the analysis procedures and to report the research works that have used structural equations with PLS. We believe that this is an excellent contribution for researchers because it helps to improve the analyses and reports that derive from using PLS to, thus, increase the probabilities of them being accepted in relevant journals.

Another contribution made by the present work, apart from establishing the aforementioned protocol, is to provide a list of the recent articles about operations management that have used PLS and the coding procedure to conduct our systematic review (to be subsequently published).

Abstract Introduction Defensive medicine (DM) is defined as the deviation of a physician from normal behavior or what is good practice aimed at decreasing or preventing from the complaints and criticism by the patients or their families. The current study aimed at examining DM behaviors in a sample of Iranian surgeons. Methods In this cross-sectional study, 235 surgeons were selected by systematic random sampling method. The data gathering tool was a researcher-made questionnaire which its validity and reliability were confirmed. For data analysis, Fisher's exact test, Kruskal-Wallis test, Chi-square and logistic regression tests were used in SPSS 21 software. Results The most common positive DM behaviors including unnecessary biopsy (78.7%), imaging and laboratory tests (72.3% and 70.6%), and refusing to accept high-risk patients (61.7%) was also the most common negative DM behavior among surgeons. The likelihood of DM behaviors was more in young and less experienced surgeons. Other variables such as gender, specialty and complaint history also had a positive effect on some DM behaviors (p <0.05). Conclusion Strategies such as reforming the rules and regulations for medical errors and patient complaints, increasing monitoring of service delivery, developing and implementing medical guidelines and evidence-based medicine, and reforming medical liability insurance system are effective to reduce DM behaviors in order to prevent its adverse effects on the health system and patients.

The growing research in innovation management urges the need to measure the performance provided by the various innovation actions. However the measurement of innovation performance, especially product innovation still lies submerged in a variety of ways, which are related measurement will ace as its inputs and outputs, as well as to the objective and subjective data. The replication of traditional methods of measuring product innovation performance not consider the various results of product innovation for the organization, exacerbates the issue of measurement of product innovation performance. In this sense, the present study aims to evaluate the validity and reliability of a multidimensional scale proposed by Hanachi (2015) which considers perception measures and the performance of product innovation as an output. The descriptive research, survey type is cross-sectional. The application of product innovation performance scale was conducted with 94 managers of small and medium industries in the textile sector. To perform the analysis we used the SPSS and Statistica 2.0 software to perform the one-dimensionality and reliability testing of the constructs and subsequent application of factor analysis. The result shows the relevance and applicability of the proposed scale, by providing a valid scale for new studies that seek to relate the product innovation performance construct to other constructs allowed relationship tests, such as the approaches of structural equations.

The objective of the research was to determine the impact of electronic commerce on the performance of agro-exports in the central region of Peru, 2020. The study was carried out from a quantitative approach with a non-experimental - cross-sectional - causally correlated research design. Using the survey technique, two questionnaires were applied to 95 agro-exporters, one for electronic commerce and the other for export performance. Using the structural equations model, it was obtained that electronic commerce in its compatibility dimension does not have a positive impact on the efficiency of the distribution of companies (p > 0.05) and does have a positive impact on the efficiency of communication (p < 0.05). Regarding ease of use, it does not have a positive impact on the efficiency of the distribution (p > 0.05; however, it does have a positive impact on the efficiency of communication (p < 0.05). Regarding the perceived utility it has a positive impact on the efficiency of distribution (p < 0.05), but it does not have a positive impact on the efficiency of communication. It is concluded that the compatibility and ease of use of electronic commerce positively impact the performance of communication efficiency in agro-exports and the perceived utility has a positive impact on the performance of the efficiency of distribution in agro-exports of the companies of the central region of Peru.
