Since 2013, the establishment of “New-Type of Think Tanks with Chinese Characteristics” (NTTTCC) has been highly promoted by the Xi Jinping administration. “The Opinions on Strengthening the Construction of NTTTCC” was approved by the Central Leading Group for Comprehensively Deepening Reforms in 2014, while the “National Top Think Tank Pilot Programme” was approved by the Central Leading Group in 2015. With these efforts, the comprehensive management architecture for think tanks has been established in China.

A new management trend of the global information technology (IT) application—virtualization—has appeared in the contemporary management. Virtualization is a process of enterprise transformation (using IT) that allows breaking through various limitations of organizational constraints. Virtualization changes dramatically the image of business, especially of small and medium enterprises (SMEs); by adopting the concept of virtualization, they can become fully competitive and may effectively operate in the global market. Barriers of the scale between SMEs and large organizations disappear. This new type of organizations is often called in literature modern organization or virtual organization. Organizations of this type have an effective decision-making process, and function based on economic criteria. Consequently, their opportunities to grow and to compete in the global market are greater than for traditional SMEs. Hence the thesis that virtualization allows individual organizations to enter strategic co-operative alliances with other similar businesses. Such of virtual organizations have a competitive position in the global market. In the literature, there are many terms used to define virtual organization: “network organizations” (Drucker, 1988, p. 9), “organizations after re-engineering” (Hammer & Champy, 1993, pp. 77-79), “crazy organization,” “crazy time for crazy organization” (Peters, 1994, pp. 5-7), and “intelligent enterprise” (Quinn, 1992, p. 3).

As their name implies, cation channels allow the regulated flow of cations such as sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium across cellular and intracellular membranes. Cation channels have long been known for their fundamental roles in controlling membrane potential and excitability in neurons and muscle. In this review, we provide an update on the recent advances in our understanding of the structure–function relationship and the physiological and pathophysiological role of cation channels. The most exciting developments in the last two years, in our opinion, have been the insights that cryoelectron microscopy has provided into the inner life and the gating of not only voltage-gated channels but also mechanosensitive and calcium- or sodium-activated channels. The mechanosensitive Piezo channels especially have delighted the field not only with a fascinating new type of structure but with important roles in blood pressure regulation and lung function.

Innovation of material and function represents the direction of contemporary architecture template development. Based on the study results of domestic and foreign building templates, a new type of template structure—Steel fiber RPC (reactive powder concrete) column-template without demolition is presented taking account of the characteristics of template materials and construction methods. Compared with the traditional template, the new one takes composite material and function innovation as a breakthrough. It improves efficiency of construction while the column-template forms the outer surface of the decorative grass-roots which expands the scale of the function of column template. This paper introduces the material selection and illustrates the calculation of the new template. Based on the existing design specification of template, new design recommendation of template thickness is proposed through theoretical analysis and simulation, which provides a theoretical basis of steel fiber RPC column template without demolition in engineering applications.

“My Motherland and Me”, a passionate patriotic song, can stand out from many patriotic themes after more than 30 years of writing, and with the help of “Flash Mob”, a new type of artistic expression, the theoretical self-confidence, road self-confidence, system self-confidence, and cultural self-confidence of socialism with Chinese characteristics over the past 40 years of reform and opening up were passed. It conveys the endless patriotism and nationalism of the Chinese nation, and conveys the strong historical blame of the rise and fall of the world, showing the powerful aesthetic and moral education functions of musical works. Teachers can use “My Motherland and Me” as a teaching case for the collaborative education of moral education and aesthetic education, and from here and there, promote the teaching experience of moral education.

We consider the issue of fixed combinations associated with their use, the relationship with the system of phraseological units and memes in the speech of a modern student. We determine the semantics and function of some popular speech units formed due to the influence of Internet communication, this affects the state of the language culture of the people. We reveal the most frequent memes in students’ oral speech. The reasons why memes in oral speech have replaced phraseological units become expression mean constantly using these fixed combinations on the Internet. It was found that students, among whom the majorities are active users of the network, react to the repetition of memes, their brightness, and relevance for the expression of the emotions. Short-term, constant updating gives these combinations the novelty effect. The desire for adequate communication in school society, lacking sufficient experience of speech creativity form its own system of language expression of students, as well as the productivity of the fixed combinations use. The constant use of fixed units of a new type introduces them into the limits of personal relationships, acquires the character of a system, so it negatively affects not only the culture of communicants.

Social think tanks are an important part of the construction of new think tanks with Chinese characteristics and their effectiveness is an important influencing factor of the competitiveness of China’s think tanks. The paper firstly analyzes the current situation of research on the problems relating to China’s social think tanks, then constructs social think tank effectiveness evaluation indicator system from the four aspects of management effectiveness, influence effectiveness, diversity effectiveness and innovation effectiveness, lastly, it evaluates and analysis the effectiveness of Center for China & Globalization (CCG) as an example, and offers the countermeasures and suggestions for improving its effectiveness.
